Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a mounting rail for holding and powering luminaire modules, which is provided to form a light band system.
  • the invention further relates to a corresponding light band system with such a mounting rail.
  • a known light band system is for example in the WO 01/91249 A1 described.
  • This consists of several mounting rails arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction, which are used to hold and supply power to several luminaire units or luminaire modules.
  • a so-called current-conducting profile extends in the longitudinal direction along the mounting rails, to which the lamp modules can be electrically connected, and at the same time the modules are also mechanically attached to the mounting rail.
  • the usual mains voltage typically 230V is applied to the current conducting profile.
  • Each lamp module has lamps and a corresponding operating device for converting the mains voltage to an operating voltage suitable for operating the light source in question.
  • a disadvantage of the known solutions is that due to the standard length of the luminaire modules, which is generally specified, there are certain restrictions when adapting the length of the entire continuous-row system. If continuous light emission is to be achieved over the entire length, the light band system can only have an overall length which corresponds to an integral multiple of the length of the luminaire modules. On the other hand, more flexible length adjustments are not possible, which is problematic insofar as it is increasingly desired that the length of a light strip system can be adapted exactly to the length of a room in which the use of the light strip system is intended.
  • a line of light should be illuminated along a line to be illuminated Gangs are achieved, it is desirable that this line of light extends exactly from one end of the aisle to the other. This may not be possible with the known trunking systems.
  • the mounting rail has lead-through wiring that is connected to plug-in connection parts that serve to supply power to lights.
  • a light band system which has a mounting rail for holding and powering lights. Wires for power supply to the lights run in the mounting rail.
  • a lighting system with a busbar is known, in which various lamps can be clamped.
  • An intermediate adapter is provided between the busbar and a lamp.
  • a current drain adapter for a busbar is known.
  • EP 1 830 121 A1 a fluorescent tube holding arrangement is known in which two holding elements are connected to one another via a cable.
  • DE 100 25 646 A1 is known a busbar system with a mounting rail for mounting and power supply of lights. A current conducting profile runs in the mounting rail.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to provide a new solution for realizing mounting rails, with the aid of which a light band system can be formed, the mounting rails allowing the length to be adjusted as flexibly as possible.
  • the idea according to the invention is based on the variant described above, in which coupling elements for the electrical connection of luminaire modules are provided at certain points. These are arranged on a so-called wiring unit, the coupling elements in the prior art, as mentioned, then being arranged at predetermined distances from one another.
  • the invention is based It is provided that the wiring unit is subdivided into two sub-units, each of which has at least one coupling element for electrically connecting a lamp module, the sub-units being adjustable relative to one another in the longitudinal direction of the mounting rail.
  • a mounting rail for holding and supplying power to lighting modules which has a wiring unit with coupling elements for electrically connecting at least two lighting modules, the wiring unit being divided into two subunits, each of which has at least one coupling element, and the subunits in the longitudinal direction Carrier rail are adjustable relative to each other.
  • the luminaire modules connected to the subunits should preferably be supplied via a common circuit for the power supply. Accordingly, it is provided that a corresponding common circuit is implemented for this purpose, the electrical connection of the subunits then taking place via a flexible cable.
  • the circuit for supplying power to the connected luminaire modules can be connected on the input side to an operating device or converter which is connected on the one hand to a power supply connection for the mounting rail and on the other hand provides the circuit with a voltage required for the operation of the luminaire modules.
  • This variant is advantageous in that the fact that the mounting rail now provides the operating device and thus a suitable current from the start means that there is no need for corresponding devices on the luminaire modules themselves. Since such converters generally have a certain minimum length, the luminaire modules had to be made long enough, which in turn represents a restriction with regard to the exact length adjustment.
  • control gear can now be dispensed with directly on the luminaire modules, particularly when using LEDs as light sources, luminaire modules of a very short length can also be implemented, which of course enables a significantly better adjustment of the overall length of the continuous row system.
  • both sub-units each have a plurality of coupling elements, the distances between adjacent coupling elements of a first sub-unit being greater than the corresponding distances of a second sub-unit.
  • the converter mentioned above is then arranged on one of the two subunits, preferably on the first subunit.
  • the subunits responsible for the power supply of the mounting rail according to the invention are preferably arranged within an elongated, in particular U-shaped support element.
  • the receiving space in the carrier element then serves primarily to support the electrical lines and the subunits with the coupling elements.
  • Corresponding mating coupling parts of the lamp modules then engage in this interior when connecting to the mounting rail, or the lamp modules are even placed completely in this interior.
  • a cover which may extend over a plurality of support rails or even the entire continuous row system and via which a uniform, homogeneous light emission occurs, can then be arranged.
  • the length of the corresponding support element must also be adjusted for the flexible length adjustment of the light strip system.
  • the support element extends in one piece over the entire length of the support rail, at least one of the two subunits then being arranged displaceably in the support element.
  • the carrier element may then have to be adapted accordingly, but this can be done by simply cutting to length.
  • each subunit is assigned its own mounting rail segment, the two mounting rail segments being telescopically slidable into one another. In this case, only the two mounting rail segments with the associated subunits actually have to be pushed into one another in order to adjust the length, and no further work is required.
  • a variant of this type is primarily suitable for the case in which the trunking system is used as a built-in variant.
  • the variant mentioned first is preferably used.
  • the solution according to the invention thus creates the possibility of adapting trunking systems extremely flexibly but very precisely to the desired lengths.
  • FIG. 1 shows a very schematic sketch of an embodiment of a mounting rail according to the invention, which is generally provided with the reference numeral 1 here.
  • the mounting rail 1 is generally elongated and extends along the light band system to be implemented, it being formed on at least one end region, in this case the left end region, for connection to an adjacent mounting rail.
  • the neighboring mounting rail is not necessarily identical to that in Figure 1
  • Carrier rail according to the invention shown must be formed, since it is sufficient for an adaptation of the overall length of the light band system if a single, preferably a carrier rail located at one end is designed to be variable. Since the solution according to the invention is inevitably somewhat more complex than a fixed-length mounting rail, fixed-length mounting rails are preferably used in the remaining areas of the system.
  • the underside of the carrier element 2 is closed with a transparent cover for light emission, which then has corresponding optical properties depending on the desired light emission.
  • the end face of the support element 2 is designed such that it can be coupled to support elements of adjacent support rails on at least one side.
  • a corresponding electrical coupling element 5 is provided on the end face for supplying power to the lamp modules to be connected. This is connected to the through-wiring extending along the continuous-row system and thereby connected to the general power supply. In the case of a double-sided coupling of the mounting rail 1 to adjacent mounting rails, this through-wiring would then also be routed through the mounting element 2, with a further coupling element for the electrical connection to another adjacent mounting rail then having to be provided at the opposite end. In the case of an arrangement at the front end area of the light strip, however, this is not necessary.
  • the lamp modules to be connected are not connected directly to the mains supply voltage of about 230V can be connected. This would require that the modules themselves have their own operating devices, for example converters or transformers, which would, however, lead to certain minimum sizes for the luminaire modules.
  • a converter 7, which is used centrally in the mounting rail 1, is connected to the lines of the general power supply and is connected on the output side to the circuit 8 for supplying power to the luminaire modules.
  • This converter 7 thus provides on the circuit 8 the supply voltage suitable for operating the light sources of the lamp modules.
  • it can be a DC voltage suitable for LED operation if the use of LED-based luminaire modules is intended.
  • a plurality of coupling elements 10 are then provided on the circuit 8, which are coupled to corresponding counter-coupling elements of the lamp modules.
  • the coupling elements 10 In the case of a fixed length of the mounting rail 1, the coupling elements 10 would have predetermined standard distances from one another, so that luminaire modules with a corresponding standard length can be connected. In this case, the total length of the mounting rail 1 corresponds to the corresponding integer multiple of the standard luminaire modules. According to the present invention, however, it is now provided that the position of at least some coupling elements is variable in the variable-length mounting rail. Is purely schematic Figure 1 shown that the position of the first two coupling elements 10 1 and 10 2 cannot be changed, the positions being selected such that corresponding luminaire modules with standard length 50 can be connected, as in FIG Figure 1 is indicated.
  • the coupling elements 10 3 shown below, on the other hand, are initially at a significantly shorter distance from one another.
  • luminaire modules 60 can be used and filled by one or more luminaire modules 60. These are significantly shorter luminaire modules, which then fill the remaining length in their entirety, so that, viewed overall, all modules extend continuously over the variably selected length of the mounting rail 1.
  • FIG. 2 One way of realizing the on the basis of Figure 1 schematically illustrated idea of a variable arrangement of the coupling elements is in Figure 2 shown.
  • the representation of the carrier element 2 of the mounting rail 1 has been dispensed with; instead, only the so-called.
  • Wiring units 20 1 and 20 2 shown which form the connection options for the light modules.
  • E.g. two corresponding sockets 11, which contain the coupling elements, can be seen on the underside of the wiring unit 20 1 .
  • the second wiring unit 20 2 significantly more sockets 11 are provided, which are also at a significantly smaller distance from one another.
  • Figure 2 also shows the converter 7 arranged on the first wiring unit 20 1 , which is connected via the lines 6 to the corresponding coupling element for connection to the general power supply.
  • the lines 8 of the supply circuit for the lamp modules then extend on the output side of this converter 7, the coupling elements 10 then being arranged on the corresponding sockets 11.
  • the supply circuit also extends through the second subunit 20 2 , the connection between the first subunit 20 1 and the second subunit 20 2 being established via a flexible cable 9.
  • a wiring unit In the case of a fixed-length mounting rail, a wiring unit would extend in one piece over the entire length of the mounting rail 1. According to the invention, however, it is now provided that - as shown - the wiring unit is divided into the two sub-units 20 1 and 20 2 , each of which has one or more coupling elements or corresponding sockets 11 for connecting the lamp modules, the wiring units 20 1 and 20 2 are adjustable relative to each other. Because the electrical connection is made through the flexible cable 9, the distance between the two sub-units 20 1 and 20 2 can be freely selected between a maximum distance which corresponds to the length of the cable 9 and a minimum distance at which the wiring units 20 1 and 20 2 lie face to face.
  • the relative adjustment of the two wiring units 20 1 and 20 2 can be done in different ways.
  • the in Figure 2 Outer mounting rail, not shown, that is, the U-shaped carrier element 2 extends in one piece over the entire length.
  • one of the two sub-units, in particular the first sub-unit 20 1 with the converter 7, is arranged in a fixed manner on the corresponding end region of the carrier element 2.
  • the second part 2 unit 20 can variably arranged in the above-described margin and be moved in the longitudinal direction.
  • the end of the second sub-unit 20 2 facing away from the first sub-unit 20 1 then defines the end region of the contacting options and then also corresponds to the end of the mounting rail to be realized, which means that the carrier element 2 may have to be cut off at the corresponding point.
  • the carrier element 2 since it is a purely mechanical cutting of the carrier element 2 and in particular no electrical lines or the like are adversely affected thereby, these are simple mechanical measures that can be carried out without great effort. It is advantageously achieved in this way, however, that the carrier element then extends in one piece over the entire length of the mounting rail, which is optically advantageous in comparison to the variant described below.
  • the carrier element 2 itself is formed by two mounting rail segments 2 1 and 2 2 , in which the respective sub-units 20 1 and 20 2 are now firmly arranged.
  • Both carrier rail segments 2 1 and 2 2 - as shown - intertwine telescopically and can in turn be displaced relative to one another in accordance with the double arrow shown in order to adjust the positioning of the sub-units 20 1 and 20 2 with the contacting sockets 11 in the desired manner. Due to the telescopic interlocking of the support rail segments 2 1 and 2 2 , the corresponding length adjustment of the support element 2 is then also carried out automatically, so that no further measures are required here.
  • the mounting rail 1 according to the invention being shown in two different lengths, together with the lamp modules 50 and 60 to be connected to it, the corresponding taps also being shown for the lamp modules.
  • the two sockets 11 1 and 11 2 are initially occupied by luminaire modules 50 with a standard length, the left luminaire module 50 being, as can be seen, rotated by 180 °. Both modules use the sockets 11 1 and 11 2 which are fixedly arranged on the first subunit.
  • the second subunit with the bushings 11 3 positioned at significantly shorter distances is positioned close to the first subunit 20 1 in the example shown, so that there is only a very small distance here.
  • the remaining length of the mounting rail 1 is then occupied by a shorter lamp module 60, which can be coupled to the corresponding socket 11 3 .
  • the second sub-unit 20 2 is extended to the maximum length.
  • the first two sockets 11 1 and 11 2 of the first sub-unit 20 1 are initially occupied by standard lamp modules 50.
  • the remaining length of the mounting rail 1 is now occupied by the short lamp modules 60, which use all the corresponding sockets 11 3 of the second sub-unit 20 2 . It is obvious that with corresponding intermediate positions of the second sub-unit 20 2 , a correspondingly smaller number of shorter modules 60 is then used, although an overall length adjustment of the mounting rail can now be achieved in very small steps.
