- A plug connector with high electrical insulation comprising a male plug portion (1) and a female coupling portion (2), wherein said male plug portion (1) is provided with alatch cam (3) on the circumferential surface thereof, and wherein a latch groove (4) is provided in the circumference of the female coupling portion (2) for establishing a bayonet-type plug-in connection, and wherein a sealing ring (5) is arranged either on the circumference of the male plug portion (1), in front of the latch cam (3), or on the inner circumference of the female coupling portion (2), towards the rear with respect to the latch cam (3); characterized in that when the plug-in connection is established said sealing ring (5) radially sealingly abuts between the inner circumference of the female coupling portion (2) and the circumference of the male plug portion (1); and when the plug-in connection is established said sealing ring (5) is arranged to be never subject to axial squeezing.
- The plug connector according to claim 1, characterized in that on the circumference of the male plug portion (1), in front of the latch cam (3), a sealing ring (5) is provided, an outer diameter of which sealingly abuts on the inner diameter of the female coupling portion (2).
- The plug connector according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said sealing ring (5) is an O-ring made of heat-resistant EPDM.
- The plug connector according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the latch groove (4) is J-shaped and has a terminal portion (18) that is moved towards the front.
- The plug connector according to any of the preceding claims that a compression spring (6) is provided in axial alignment in the female coupling portion (2), and when the bayonet-locking connection is established a front surface (19) of the male plug portion (1) is indirectly pressed against said compression spring (6).
- The plug connector according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is highly electrically insulating providing an insulation of at least 1012 ohms.
- The plug connector according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that all of its components are temperature-resistant so that the connector can be used up to an ambient temperature of 150°C.
- The plug connector according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that it has a diameter of not more than 6 mm.
- The plug connector according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that said latch cam (3) is visible from the outside when it is inserted in the latch groove (4).
- The plug connector according to claim 9, characterized in that said male plug portion (1) is provided with a signal color at a position that is only visible due to the recess of the latch groove (4) when the plug connection is completely closed.
- An arrangement of a plurality of plug connectors according to any of the preceding claims in a summing box, characterized in that male plug portions (1) or female coupling portions (2) are secured on a connecting panel (14) in one plane.
- The arrangement according to claim 11, characterized in that the connecting panel (14) is a component of a flange (11) having a round plug connector (10).
- The arrangement according to claim 12, characterized in that male plug portions (1) are secured on said connecting panel (14) and cables (7) each with the corresponding female coupling portion (2) can be led through an ring-shaped stopper (20) to establish a bayonet-locking plug connection, and once the connection is established the ring-shaped stopper (20) can be connected to the flange (11) wherein the connecting panel (14) is arranged between the flange (11) and the ring stopper (20) .
