Usually, an oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump is used in vacuum drawers. This is subject to certain maintenance intervals, for example, the oil must be changed regularly as in the car. However, a regular maintenance cycle is not acceptable for household appliances because such conditions are difficult to convey to the targeted consumers.

The objective object of the present invention is therefore concerned with finding a solution that allows a maintenance-free operation of a vacuum drawer.

This object is achieved by a vacuum drawer with the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the vacuum drawer are the subject of the subsequent dependent on the main claim dependent claims.

According to claim 1, it is thus proposed in a generic vacuum drawer to integrate at least one filter element in the existing valve block, wherein the integrated filter element is a cleaning or filtering of the vacuum pump from the vacuum chamber sucked volume allows. This effectively prevents contamination of the pump or of the oil used when using an oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump.

In addition to the effective filtering of the sucked volume flow can be dispensed with by the direct integration of the at least one filter element in the valve block to an additional component of the vacuum drawer. The combination of valve block and filter also allows reducing otherwise necessary interconnections between the components, which also significantly reduces the risk of leaks within the system can be significantly reduced.

In a preferred embodiment of the vacuum drawer, the valve block is indirectly or directly mounted on the vacuum chamber, ideally on the outer wall of the vacuum chamber. This results in a simplified access to the integrated filter element when an error occurs, since the vacuum chamber is usually extendible with the drawer extension element and thus is easily accessible from the outside.

Vor diesem Hintergrund ist es besonders zweckmäßig, wenn dieser Filter vom Innenraum der Vakuumkammer zugänglich ist, um aufwändige Demontagearbeiten für den Filteraustausch zu vermeidenAccording to the invention, the valve block or the filter element is integrated in the valve block such that the filter is accessible from the interior of the vacuum chamber. As explained above, complex maintenance work on furniture, in particular kitchen furniture, are almost unacceptable. However, kitchen furniture must be designed maintenance-free for as long as possible operation, this applies in particular to the vacuum pump used. However, in order to guarantee an effective filtration of the suction volume for this period, the filter must be regularly cleaned of deposits or exchanged, which is a tolerable measure for the consumer, since he can easily accomplish this activity even without outside specialist assistance. Against this background, it is particularly expedient if this filter is accessible from the interior of the vacuum chamber in order to avoid costly disassembly work for the filter replacement

It is conceivable that in addition one or more lifting cylinders can be switched over the valve block, which are responsible for the operation of the welding bar within the vacuum chamber. The valve block thus comprises at least two valves, in particular solenoid valves, which on the one hand the suction line in control the chamber as well as actuate the connecting line of the lifting cylinder. It is also conceivable that one or more ventilation openings are provided on the valve block, which allow a chamber ventilation via the suction line.

Ideally, the built-in filter is not only suitable for filtering dusts, but also for filtering or separating liquids from the volume flow. This is especially true for the application error case, in which, for example, a liquid or soup-like food from the vacuum chamber is sucked in the direction of the vacuum pump.

It is conceivable to use a flat filter, in particular a filter mat or a filter membrane as a filter element. However, it is also conceivable a tubular or cylindrical filter element.

In order to detect increasing deposits in the filter or impurities within the suction line and to prevent the thus increasing risk of pump damage, it is advantageous if at least one pressure sensor, in particular an electronic pressure sensor, is inserted within the valve block or the suction line, the flow rate observed continuously, periodically or randomly and detects deviations from the normal operation without filter blockage. In this context, it makes further sense if corresponding means are provided which generate a corresponding service signal for indication of a necessary filter change on the basis of the sensor signal. As a result, the user can be made aware of an upcoming filter change.

Furthermore, it can be provided that the valve block provides a filter element upstream of the filter element in the suction direction, preferably a wire mesh. The grid element is thus arranged between the chamber-side inlet opening of the valve block and the filter element. The upstream grid element ensures an even distribution of the flow on the available filter surface, so that a satisfactory cleaning of the sucked Volume flow is achieved. In addition, the grid element ensures that the filter is not thrown out of the valve block into the chamber when venting back the vacuum chamber.

It is particularly advantageous if the connecting piece of the valve block located inside the chamber sump is detachably connected to the valve block body mounted behind the chamber wall. Accordingly, the suction line extends, starting from the valve block, through a bore provided in the chamber wall over the connecting sleeve located within the chamber sump and discharges via the nozzle opening within the chamber. The connection is ideally based on a screw connection in order to simplify the usability by the user. In this case, the user can simply unscrew the connection piece from the valve block body and thereby gain access to the filter element. It is also conceivable that the screw connection between the connecting piece and the valve block body lying behind the chamber wall simultaneously serves to stabilize and secure the valve block to the chamber wall. The thread of the valve block body preferably extends through the bore of the chamber wall into the interior of the chamber. However, the connection can also be made by a bayonet lock and / or by a snap hook.

In a further advantageous embodiment, it is conceivable that at least one filter element is arranged within the connecting piece, preferably immediately behind the releasably arranged connection piece within the suction line. The opening area of the connecting piece is preferably designed like a sieve, i. The circular cover surface has one or more openings in the form of holes and covers the opening of the connecting piece or the filter placed therein permeable to air.

In order to avoid pressing or pressing the filter element onto the screw connection of the valve block body, this comprises one or more spacers which ensure a certain distance between the filter element and the screw connection. Such spacers may be formed, for example, in the form of one or more ribs, in particular radially outwardly extending ribs.

Additionally or instead of using an electronic pressure sensor, the valve block may further include at least one spring-biased valve that blocks the suction line upon the occurrence of intolerable contaminants within the line and automatically stops the pumping operation.

The present invention also relates to the use of a vacuum drawer according to the present invention for furniture, in particular for kitchen furniture. Consequently, the same advantages and properties that have already been presented above with respect to the claimed vacuum drawer result for the use according to the invention. A repetitive description should be omitted for this reason.

In addition to the use according to the invention, the invention also relates to a kitchen furniture with a vacuum drawer according to the invention. Such vacuum drawers for kitchen furniture are usually characterized by a particularly compact design, which comply with prescribed standard specifications with respect to the dimension. For example, the vacuum drawer is characterized in this case by a maximum height of about 140 mm, which complicates in particular the integration of the necessary components and components for Vakuumierbetrieb. Especially against this background, the arrangement of the valve block with integrated filter is particularly advantageous, which also result from the above-described attachment and mounting on the chamber wall enormous benefits.

The following embodiments of the invention relate to a vacuum drawer for a kitchen furniture. The drawer is characterized by an installation height of only 140 mm and therefore corresponds to the standard size of fitted kitchens. The vacuum drawer comprises a drawer extension, which is guided longitudinally displaceably in a drawer body via lateral guide rails. The front cover of the drawer extension can have a handle for extending and retracting the drawer into the carcass. Instead or in addition, the drawer extension may include a push-pull means for opening and closing. Within the drawer extension, a vacuum chamber is mounted, which is fluidically coupled with a vacuum pump of the vacuum drawer and can pump out the air from the chamber for vacuum generation. The vacuum pump is attached to the drawer extension.

For the Vakuumiervorgang the vacuum chamber can be hermetically sealed with a lid so that the necessary vacuum can be generated within the closed vacuum chamber via the vacuum pump.

For sealing an inserted bag is provided within the vacuum chamber welding bar, which extends in the drawer insertion direction over the entire chamber width. A bag filled with food is placed in the chamber for vacuuming, the bag being deposited on the welding bar and the bag opening protruding beyond the sealing bar towards the edge of the chamber.

After venting the vacuum chamber during operation, the sealing bar is pressed against a pressure surface and welded by supplying the welding energy. For pressing the bag against the contact surface corresponding lifting cylinders are provided which shift the welding bar in the vertical direction up or down. As a vacuum pump usually oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps are used, which require an oil change due to manufacturer's information in certain maintenance intervals. However, the presented vacuum pump according to the invention should manage without an oil change over the entire life.

For this purpose, at least one filter element is integrated into the usually necessary valve block, which filters the sucked air from the vacuum chamber and thereby prevents contamination of the vacuum pump or the pump oil used.

Fig. 1 shows a representation of the rear side wall 10 of the vacuum drawer. Visible is the extending into the interior of the vacuum drawer connecting piece 20, the circular cover surface 21 includes a central through hole 23 and a plurality of annularly arranged around the through hole 23 smaller holes 22. Via the openings 22, 23 can in the vacuum chamber present air volume sucked and transported in the direction of the vacuum pump. The suction line passes through a lying behind the connecting piece 20 bore of the chamber wall 10 to Wandungsrückseite.

Fig. 2 shows the corresponding back 11 of the chamber wall, in which case the valve block body 30 is mounted in the region of the bore and the performed connecting piece 20. At the rear end of the valve block 30, the connection 31 for the suction line of the vacuum pump can be seen. By screwing the connecting piece 20 with the appropriate thread of the valve block body 30, the valve block 30 may be sufficiently secured to the chamber wall 10 and stabilized under certain circumstances.

For a detailed description of the inventive valve block 30 of the vacuum drawer is on the exploded view of Fig. 3 directed. Visible here is the connection piece 20 of the vacuum container, which is also in Fig. 1 was seen. The connecting piece 20 is screwed via the screw thread with the matching mating thread of the connecting piece of the valve block 30.

Der O-Ring 51 dichtet die Saugleitung gegenüber der äußeren Wandung 11 ab.The cylindrical filter element 40 can be inserted into the tubular channel 36 of the valve block 30, the connecting piece 20 is then screwed to the valve body 30 via the provided thread in the region of the channel 36. The screw is additionally sealed via the O-ring 50 against the inner surface of the chamber wall 10. The O-ring 51 seals the suction line with respect to the outer wall 11.

Furthermore, the valve block comprises a left and right solenoid valve 32, 33, wherein the left solenoid valve 32 is responsible for switching the lifting cylinder for the actuation of the welding bar and the right solenoid valve 33 is used for switching the volume flow from the vacuum chamber in the direction of the vacuum pump. At the rear end of the valve block, the connection 31 for the vacuum pump is also recognizable. On the upper side of the valve block 30 sits a connecting piece 34, to which a hose can be fastened, which leads to a pressure sensor, wherein This pressure sensor detects the flow rate from the connecting piece 20 from the vacuum chamber to the vacuum pump and closes in case of deviations to appropriate deposits within the filter element 40. By means of an optional evaluation unit, the measured values of the pressure sensor can be evaluated and, if required, a corresponding service signal can be generated which indicates to the user the need for a pending filter change.

Furthermore, on the front and top of the valve block 30 ventilation openings 35 can be seen, via which the vacuum chamber can be vented after completion of Vakuumiervorgang.

Diverse Schnittdarstellungen bzw. Various sectional views or detailed representations of the valve block of Fig. 3 are the FIGS. 4 refer to. The sectional view of Fig. 4a is again the screw connection of the connecting piece 20 with the screw 37 of the valve block refer. By unscrewing the first screw 20, the user gets access to the filter element 40 from the interior of the vacuum chamber.

An alternative embodiment of the valve block is the Fig. 5 refer to. In this case, a flat filter 41 is used instead of a cylindrical filter element, which is also used between the screwing of the filter 20 and the screw connection of the valve block 37. A detailed view of the screw of the valve block 37 is the Fig. 6 refer to. It can be seen that the surface of the screw 37 is provided with radially extending ribs 39 which are arranged in a star shape around the central bore of the screw and prevent application of the filter element 41 used on the surface of the screw 37.

In order to ensure a uniform flow over the filter cross-section, a wire mesh 27 is arranged upstream of this. This ensures at the same time that when reversing the volume flow of the filter 41 is not pressed into the vacuum chamber.

For both variants of the Fig. 4 and 5 Either a pressure sensor 34 can be used to detect filter contaminants, or, alternatively, a spring-loaded valve 50 can be used, as is the case in the exemplary embodiment of FIG FIGS. 4 is shown. The spring-biased valve 50 closes in case of contamination of the filter, the suction line to the vacuum pump to prevent damage to the vacuum pump. The valve 50 thus provides a direct and mechanical protection for the vacuum pump, an additional pressure sensor can therefore be dispensed with.

The spring-biased valve 50 closes via the sealing seal 51, the suction line as soon as the filter clogged and the spring 52 is compressed by the vacuum.
