Abstract
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Funkenstrecke (1) mit Kühl- und/oder Dämpfungseinrichtung, aufweisend
• zumindest eine erste Funkenstreckenelektrode (FS1) und eine zweite Funkenstreckenelektrode (FS2),
• zumindest eine Zündhilfselektrode (ZE) zur Verbindung mit einem Zündkreis, wobei die Zündhilfselektrode (ZE) räumlich benachbart zur ersten Funkenstreckenelektrode (FS1) und beabstandet zur zweiten Funkenstreckenelektrode (FS2) angeordnet ist, wobei die Zündhilfselektrode (ZE), bezogen auf die Richtung von ersten Funkenstreckenelektrode und zweiter Funkenstreckenelektrode lateral hierzu angeordnet ist,
• wobei zwischen der Zündhilfselektrode (ZE) und der ersten Funkenstreckenelektrode (FS1) ein gering leitfähiges Material (BRZ) zur Zündunterstützung eingebracht ist,
• wobei zwischen der Zündhilfselektrode (ZE) und der zweiten Funkenstreckenelektrode (FS2) eine Mehrzahl von Scheiben (S1, S2, ... Sn) isoliert (ISO1) gegenüber der Zündhilfselektrode (ZE) und der ersten Funkenstreckenelektrode (FS1) angebracht sind, wobei die Scheiben eine Öffnung aufweisen, wobei die Öffnungen der Scheiben so angeordnet sind, dass sie einen Lichtbogenkanal zwischen der zweiten Funkenstreckenelektrode (FS2) und der ersten Funkenstreckenelektrode (FS1) bilden, wobei die Mehrzahl von Scheiben (S1, S2, ... Sn) als Kühl- und/oder Dämpfungseinrichtung dienen
