Description

The present invention initially relates to an underfloor refuse collection device according to the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the invention also relates to a method for filling this underfloor refuse collection device according to claim 13.

Large quantities of waste in an urban environment are a logistical and architectural challenge. For this reason, so-called underfloor waste collection devices have been developed in the past. These are underground or semi-underground waste systems. Such waste systems meet all requirements for cleanliness, aesthetics and environmental friendliness. They impress in particular with fewer disposal trips and emptying, especially in one-man operation.

Underfloor garbage collection devices consist above ground of a throw-in column, which has at least one throw-in opening for garbage. A large receptacle is provided underground, or at least semi-underground, which can have a capacity of up to 5m 3 , for example. At its upper end, the receptacle is connected to the insertion column. Garbage that is thrown in via the throw-in column passes through this into the receptacle. For example, the receptacle can be covered at its upper end with a cover plate. The cover is closed at the top by the cover plate. The throw-in column is then on the cover plate. The cover plate preferably has a filling opening which interacts with the insertion column.

Above ground, you can usually only see the throw-in pillar, which takes up little space and which can be designed in an appealing design. Furthermore, the cover plate of the receptacle can also be visible. The garbage is actually stored in the large, underground or at least semi-underground receptacle.

Such an underground waste collection device can be emptied, for example, by means of a crane. For this purpose, the underfloor waste collection device has, for example, a gripping device that can be gripped by the crane. In particular, it is provided that this gripping device is provided on the throw-in column, although this is not absolutely necessary. The throw-in column with the receptacle fastened therein is then pulled out of the ground by means of the crane. The receptacle can then be emptied into a refuse collection vehicle. In order to prevent accidents during the emptying process, during which the receptacle is therefore not in the designated pit, safety platforms are optionally used which close the pit during the emptying process of the receptacle. After emptying, the receptacle is sunk back into the ground so that it is not visible in regular operation.

In the EP 2 368 813 A1 describes a throw-in device for an underground waste collection device. The throw-in device has a casing on a base plate, the casing consisting of two half-shells pivotably mounted relative to one another. The insertion column is designed in such a way that it can be moved into and out of the receptacle. If no waste is introduced into the underfloor waste collection device via the throw-in column, the throw-in column is located within the receptacle and closes the filling opening in the cover plate for the receptacle. If rubbish is introduced into the underfloor waste collection device, the throw-in column is moved out of the receptacle for this purpose, the throw-in column opening or opening a throw-in opening for waste.

The underfloor waste collection device preferably consists of the throw-in column above ground, which has at least one throw-in opening for waste. The receiving container is provided underground, or at least semi-underground, with a capacity of up to 5m 3 , for example may have. Garbage that is thrown in through the throw-in column passes through this into the receptacle. Above ground, only the throw-in column is preferred, which has only a small space requirement and which can be designed in an appealing design. Furthermore, the cover plate of the receptacle can also be visible. The garbage is actually stored in the large, underground or at least semi-underground receptacle.

In a preferred embodiment, the throw-in column consists of exactly two throw-in column elements.

According to the invention it is further provided that the two or more throw-in column elements are arranged to be movable. For this purpose, the drive device is provided, which is described in greater detail below. The movable arrangement enables the insertion column elements, in particular in the manner already described above, to be moved into the receiving container of the underfloor waste collection device and to be moved out of it. Depending on the configuration, it can be provided that the throw-in column elements are arranged to be movable independently of one another or else to be coupled and movable. Preferred exemplary embodiments for this are explained in more detail in the further course of the description.

Finally, it is provided according to the invention that the movable throw-in column elements are provided via drive means in such a way that they are able to open or create a throw-in opening due to their movement. In the former case, an insertion opening is physically located in at least one of the insertion column elements. This opening is then opened by a corresponding movement. In the latter case, no physical opening is provided in the insertion column. Rather, the insertion opening is created by the movement of the insertion column elements. If these move in a suitable direction, the situation may arise, for example, that the throw-in column elements move apart, that is to say away from one another, during the movement, in particular during the movement, into a position in which the throw-in column is filled with garbage, which creates a gap between the throw-in column elements. This gap can then take on the function of an insertion opening or represent the insertion opening.

The basic functioning of the throw-in column and the method of filling an underfloor waste collection device via the throw-in column is in particular as follows:
The throw-in column or the drive device of the throw-in column is activated via an activation device, for example an activation column, which is explained in more detail below.

In the initial state, the insertion column is in a retracted position. In this case, the throw-in column is located within the receptacle of the underfloor waste collection device. The filling opening inside the cover plate of the The receptacle is then closed. This is done through the throw-in column. When activated, the insertion column is moved from the first retracted position to a second, extended position. In this second, extended position, the throw-in column is located outside the receptacle, in particular outside the cover plate. In the extended position, the throw-in column clears the throw-in opening for garbage, or such a throw-in opening is created by means of the throw-in column elements. For example, such a throw-in opening can be provided within the throw-in column. Or the throw-in column forms such a throw-in opening. After loading the throw-in column with garbage, the throw-in column is moved back into the retracted position within the receptacle. In a preferred embodiment, the throw-in column can open an emptying opening through which the waste located in the throw-in column is emptied into the receptacle. Depending on the design, the insertion opening and emptying opening can be identical, or they are different openings.

The throw-in column is preferably divided into two or more throw-in column elements.

The throw-in column elements can preferably be shell-shaped elements.

A shell is understood to mean in particular a two-dimensional structure that can be curved once or twice (spatially).

If the throw-in column elements are simply curved shell elements, these preferably represent so-called cylindrical shells which have a curvature in one direction over the longitudinal extent.

In a preferred embodiment it is provided that each throw-in column element is designed in the form of a double-curved shell, and that the double-curved shell in particular has a shell surface has opposite curvatures. Such a configuration of the throw-in pillar elements has the particular advantage that the throw-in pillar elements do not protrude too far into the underfloor waste collection device, for example into its receptacle, when the throw-in pillar is retracted, since the throw-in pillar elements are laterally moved away as they are being retracted. A throw-in column designed in this way thus represents a very space-saving variant.

In particular, the double-curved shell as described above can be a so-called translation shell. Such a translation shell is created by the movement of a plane curve (generatrix) along a second plane curve (leading curve) that is not in the plane of the generatrix. When viewed from above, such a shell preferably has a convex structure, in particular a guide curve with a convex course. In another embodiment, the double-curved shell can also be designed in the form of a hyperbolic paraboloid.

A double-curved shell, as described above, initially has a first curvature, which is formed by the generatrix and which first gives the shell the shape of a cylindrical shell, which has a one-way curve over the longitudinal extent. In addition, the shell also has a second curvature, which is formed by the guide curve, the curvature of the guide curve being directed differently than the curvature of the generatrix. In particular, this creates a shell surface with main curvatures directed in opposite directions.

In a further embodiment, it is preferably provided that the throw-in column elements are arranged to be movable in opposite directions with respect to one another. If the throw-in pillar elements are curved, it is preferably provided that the throw-in pillar elements are arranged or designed to be movable in opposite directions, in particular movable and running in opposite directions on a circular path.

Depending on the configuration, it can be provided that each throw-in column element is movable on its own and independently of the other throw-in column elements. In a preferred embodiment it is provided that the throw-in column elements are coupled in their movement, that is to say linked, movably arranged. This can be done, for example, using suitable gear designs, guide elements and the like, as will be described in greater detail below.

The drive of the throw-in column elements is not limited to certain types of drive devices. If the throw-in column elements move in opposite directions, in particular in opposite directions on a circular path, this can be done, for example, by means of a gearwheel construction, wherein each throw-in column element, in particular on a curved wall or surface, has at least one gearwheel or gearwheel segment or is designed as such a gearwheel segment, the Gearwheels or gearwheel segments of the two throw-in column elements lie opposite one another, and the gearwheels or gearwheel segments roll on one another. The actual drive can be designed, for example, as an electrical drive.

An electric motor is preferably used here. Hydraulic or pneumatic drive options are also conceivable. For example, the throw-in column could also be driven purely mechanically, for example via a winch with a crank. In a further embodiment, the drive device preferably has guide elements, for example in the form of rails or the like, along which the insertion column elements can be moved in a directed manner.

In a preferred embodiment, the throw-in column elements have, at a first, upper end, which is preferably an end face of the throw-in column elements, a closing element functioning as a cover element, or are designed as such a cover element. As an alternative or in addition, the throw-in column elements have, at a second, lower end, which is preferably an end face of the throw-in column elements, a closure element functioning as a base element, or are designed as a base element. If the throw-in column elements are bowl-shaped, the end elements preferably represent a boundary on the end faces of the shell elements.

The cover elements of the throw-in column elements form the upper end of the throw-in column. The cover elements can be designed such that they close the filling opening in the cover plate of the receptacle when the insertion column is retracted. If the throw-in pillar elements are curved, the two base elements can be spaced apart, so that they enable the garbage in the throw-in pillar to be emptied.

When the throw-in column is extended into the filling position, the upper cover elements move apart, in particular when the throw-in column elements are curved as described above. The floor elements move towards each other until they touch, so that the insertion column on the floor is closed. Now the garbage can be thrown into the throw-in column, whereby the two upper lid elements which have been moved apart open or form the throw-in opening. If the throw-in column is then retracted again, the two floor elements move apart and open the emptying opening so that the garbage in the throw-in column can get into the receptacle.

The end elements that act as floor elements at the lower end are not absolutely necessary and therefore represent an optional feature. In the simplest case, the insertion column elements can be open at the bottom. Only the upper end elements in the form of cover elements are preferably provided, since in the retracted state of the insertion column the filling opening in the cover plate is closed. If the insertion column is in the extended state and the insertion opening is available, garbage can be filled into the receptacle in an unlimited manner in a simple manner.

However, it may also be desirable to portion and limit the amount of waste to be thrown in. In this case, the floor elements are preferably provided. When the throw-in column is in the extended position, in particular if the throw-in column elements are curved, the throw-in column is closed at the bottom by the base elements, so that a space-limited chamber is available for introducing waste. Only when the insertion opening provided by the insertion column elements is closed by the movement of the insertion column elements, during which the insertion column is retracted, do bottom elements open, so that an emptying opening is released in a corresponding manner and the garbage portion located in the insertion column is emptied into the receptacle. Such a configuration can be advantageous, for example, if the amount of garbage to be introduced per loading process is to be limited, for example if a fee is to be charged for each loading process.

In a further embodiment, the drive device has a device for coupling the throw-in column elements in their movement. This can be, for example, gear designs as described above.

The throw-in column can be moved or moved between the first position in which the throw-in column is filled with garbage and a second position in which the throw-in column is emptied into the receptacle.

The insertion column is preferably provided in such a way that it is able to close the filling opening of the cover plate in the retracted state. Alternatively or additionally, the throw-in column is preferably provided in such a way that it is able to provide the throw-in opening for waste in the extended state and / or an emptying opening for waste in the retracted state.

In a further embodiment, an activation unit for activating the throw-in column, in particular for activating the drive device for the throw-in column, can be provided. This can be an activation column, for example. Activation can take place, for example, by entering a code or with the aid of a chip card.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, a method for filling an underfloor waste collection device according to the invention, as described above, with waste, in particular with a portion of waste, is provided, a portion of the waste representing in particular a quantity-limited amount of waste. The waste is brought into a receptacle of the underfloor waste collection device by means of the throw-in column. For this reason, with regard to the design and mode of operation of the method, the above statements regarding the underfloor waste collection device according to the invention are also covered in full Referenced and referred. According to the invention, the method is characterized in that the throw-in column is moved by the drive device into a position in which the throw-in column is filled with garbage.

It can be provided that the throw-in column is moved by means of the drive device between a first position in which the throw-in column is filled with waste and a second position in which the throw-in column is emptied into the receptacle of the underfloor waste collection device.

Furthermore, it can be provided that the insertion column at least temporarily closes a filling opening in a cover plate of the underfloor refuse collection device, which takes place in particular in the second position described above.

The invention will now be explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment with reference to the accompanying drawings. Show it

In the figures, an underground waste collection device 10 is shown, which has a large receptacle 11, which is embedded in the floor. The receptacle 11 is closed at the top by a cover plate 12. In the cover plate 12 there is a filling opening 13 through which the garbage is actually in can reach the receptacle 11. The filling opening 13 interacts with a throw-in column 20 which can be moved into and out of the receiving container 11, which is realized by a drive device, not shown. Such a travel process is activated via an activation device 14, which can be controlled, for example, by means of a code card or the like.

The insertion column 20 is longitudinally divided into two insertion column elements 21 and 24, the insertion column elements 21, 24 being designed as shell elements with double curvature. These are preferably translational shells. Such a translation shell is created, as in particular in Figure 1 is represented by the movement of a plane curve, the generatrix 27, along a second plane curve, the guide curve 28, the guide curve 28 not lying in the plane of the generator 27. When viewed from above, such a shell preferably has a convex structure, in particular a guide curve 28 with a convex course.

Such a double-curved shell initially has a first curvature, which is formed by the generatrix 27 and which first gives the shell the shape of a cylindrical shell, which has a curved course over the longitudinal extension L of the insertion column 20. In addition, the shell has a second curvature, which is formed by the guide curve 28, the curvature of the guide curve 28 being directed differently than the curvature of the generatrix 27. This creates a shell surface with opposing main curvatures.

Both at the upper end and at the lower end, the insertion column elements 21, 24 are delimited by end elements, which are each designed in the form of cover elements 22, 25 and base elements 23, 26.

The operation of the underfloor waste collection device 10 and a method for filling the underfloor waste collection device 10 with waste are described below.

The throw-in column 20 or the drive device of the throw-in column 20 is activated via the activation device 14.

Die Einwurfsäule 20 befindet sich in diesem Fall innerhalb des Aufnahmebehälters 11 der Unterflur-Müllsammeleinrichtung 10.In the initial state, which in Figure 2 and accordingly in Figure 3 is shown, the throw-in column 20 is in a retracted position. In this case, the throw-in column 20 is located within the receptacle 11 of the underfloor waste collection device 10.

Dies erfolgt durch die Deckelelemente 22, 25 der Einwurfsäulenelemente 21, 24.The filling opening 13 within the cover plate 12 of the receptacle 11 is then closed. This is done by the cover elements 22, 25 of the insertion column elements 21, 24.

When activated, the insertion column 20 is moved or moved from the first, retracted position into a second, extended position, which is shown in FIG Figure 1 and accordingly in Figure 3 is shown. In this second, extended position, the throw-in column 20 is outside the receptacle 11, in particular outside the cover plate 12. In the extended position, the throw-in column elements 21, 24, which throw apart due to the curvature, open a throw-in opening 29 for waste, or else such a insertion opening 29 is generated by means of the insertion column elements 21, 24.

After loading the throw-in column 20 with garbage, here in the form of a garbage bag 40, the throw-in column elements 21, 24 of the throw-in column 20 are moved back into the retracted position within the receptacle 11. In a preferred embodiment, the throw-in column elements 21, 24 expose an emptying opening 30, through which the garbage in the throw-in column 20 is emptied into the receptacle 11 in the form of the garbage bag 40.

The cover elements 22, 25 of the throw-in column elements 21, 24 form the upper end of the throw-in column 20. The cover elements 22, 25 are designed such that they close the fill opening 13 in the cover plate 12 of the receptacle 11 when the throw-in column 20 is retracted. If the throw-in column elements 21, 24 are curved, the two base elements 23, 26 can be spaced apart in this state, so that they enable the garbage in the throw-in column 20 to be emptied.

When the throw-in column 20 is extended into the filling position, the upper cover elements 22, 25 move apart, in particular when the throw-in column elements 21, 24 are curved as described above. The floor elements 23, 26 move towards one another until they touch, so that the insertion column 20 on the floor is closed. Now the garbage, here in the form of the garbage bag 40, can be thrown into the throw-in column 20, the two upper cover elements 22, 25 which have been moved apart opening up or creating the throw-in opening 29. If the throw-in column 20 is then retracted again, the two base elements 23, 26 move apart and open the emptying opening 30, so that the garbage in the throw-in column 20 can get into the receptacle 11.
