Claims (6)

  1. A plastic window having a sash profile (2) and a frame profile (21, 3), which are each formed as plastic hollow chamber profiles, and also a middle seal (23), which is attached to the frame profile (21, 3), and which is produced from a rigid holding plate (25), on which a soft seal profile (26) is formed, characterised in that the soft seal profile (26) is formed essentially U-shaped, wherein the two legs (26a, 26b) of the U are formed on lateral thirds of the holding plate (25), wherein the middle region remains free and delimits a cavity (26c) jointly with the two legs (26a, 26b), and the soft seal profile comprises a sealing lug (27) on the side opposite to the holding plate, which cooperates with a sealing surface (24), which is arranged essentially perpendicularly to the holding plate (25).
  2. The plastic window according to claim 1, characterised in that the holding plate (25) is produced from dimensionally-stable EPDM and the soft seal profile (26) is produced from foamed EPDM, wherein holding plate (25) and seal profile (26) are preferably coextruded.
  3. The plastic window according to claim 2, characterised in that the soft seal profile (26) is sheathed by a thin layer (26d) made of dimensionally-stable, fine-pored EPDM.
  4. The plastic window according to claims 1 to 3, characterised in that a cavity (28) extending in the longitudinal direction is provided in the soft seal profile (26) in the region of the sealing lug (27).
  5. The plastic window according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that a catch element (25a) is permanently attached to the holding plate (25).
  6. The plastic window according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that a middle seal (23), which is produced from a rigid holding plate (25), on which a soft seal profile (26) is formed, is provided in a faceplate profile (3).
