Description

DOMAINE TECHNIQUETECHNICAL AREA

The present invention relates to an anti-rebound device for controlling the rebound of at least one moving contact in an electrical protection apparatus, said movable contact being able to be moved between a so-called closing position in which said moving contact is in contact. electrical device with a fixed contact of the apparatus so as to allow the passage of current between these two contacts, and a second position in which these two contacts are separated, said device comprising damping means adapted to limit the rebound of the moving contact at the end of the closing operation of the movable contact, and an electrical protection device comprising such a device.

ETAT DE LA TECHNIQUE ANTERIEURESTATE OF THE PRIOR ART

When closing the contacts in a medium voltage electrical protection device, the movable contacts, often in the form of a knife, engage the fixed contacts and at the end of the stroke, strike a stop surface. There is then a rebound phenomenon equivalent to the behavior of the hammer on the anvil.

As a result of this phenomenon, the final position of the moving contacts is random. This depends in fact on the geometric dispersions, the variation of the energy of the controls, the pressure exerted on the contacts, the quality of the lubrication and the mounting clearance. Thus, the insurance of having the entire contact area required for current flow is not guaranteed.

Thus, the use of a hard stop is known to ensure the stopping of the moving contacts. In this case, the rebound is not controlled and the knives can deviate from their theoretical position resulting in a loss of the contact surface below the level required for the passage of the current. And there is also known the existence of rubber stops, or other elastomer, having damping qualities. In this case, at high energy, the rebound persists.

Indeed, the physical and chemical properties of the shock absorber are degraded at extreme temperature of use of the devices (-40'C / + 70'C). The elastomeric materials interact with the SF6 gas used in the cutoff enclosures and lose their properties.

EXPOSE DE L'INVENTIONSUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention solves these problems and proposes a device for controlling the rebound of at least one moving contact, in particular in a medium-voltage electrical protection device, making it possible to suppress the angular displacement of the moving contact during the rebound, in order to obtain a Rigorous and repetitive position of the contacts, whatever their environment and thus to ensure an optimal contact surface for the passage of the current.

For this purpose, the subject of the present invention is an anti-rebound device of the kind mentioned above, this device being characterized in that it comprises a spring mounted on one, said first, of the two contacts, and capable of cooperating with the other, said second, these two contacts, at the end of the closing maneuver, so as to ensure the damping of the displacement of the first contact and the indexing of the first contact with respect to the second contact.

EXPOSE DETAILLE D'UN MODE DE REALISATION PARTICULIER PREFERE DE L'INVENTION.DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

Un interrupteur moyenne tension I selon une réalisation particulière préférée de l'invention est illustré partiellement sur la figure 6.A medium voltage switch I according to a particular preferred embodiment of the invention is partially illustrated on the figure 6 .

I.In this figure, this switch I is in the closed position and comprises three movable contacts 1,2,3, having been brought into electrical contact with respectively three main fixed contacts 4,5,6, so as to close the electrical circuit in which this switch is placed I.

These mobile contacts 1,2,3 are more particularly illustrated on the figures 2,3 and 5 , on which we see that the fixed contacts 4,5,6 are each constituted by a simple knife, while the movable contacts are constituted by a double knife. The two knives 1a, 1b of each movable contact are mechanically connected to each other at each end, by an axis 25 passing through the two end portions respectively of the two knives 1a, 1b. A spacer 7 ensures the space between the two knives. This axis 25 comprises a head supported at one of the two ends, visible on the figure 4 . The opposite end comprises a spring 10 and a cup 11 providing a pressure necessary to the electrical contact, as shown in FIG. figure 3 .

These two knives 1a, 1b constituting each movable contact 1 comprise from their free ends, a groove 14,15 extending substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the knives, in an axial plane passing through the central axis of the axis above, this plane passing through the middle of the width of the knives. These grooves 14,15 are intended to also receive a portion of the aforementioned indexing spring 13 called strand 19, as will be explained in the following.

This indexing spring 13, according to a particular preferred embodiment of the invention illustrated on the figure 1 , is constituted by a rigid wire 16 having two windings 17,18, these two windings 17,18 being connected to each other by one, said first, their ends, by a strand of wire 19, said horizontal, extending substantially perpendicular to the plane of the two windings 17,18, and having at their other end, said second, a portion 20,21 folded substantially at right angles.

The indexing spring 13 is mounted on the movable contact 1 in the following manner.

Les contacts mobiles 1,2,3 des trois phases de l'interrupteur sont équipés d'un tel ressort d'indexation 13.First, the horizontal strand 19 of the spring 13 is introduced into the grooves 14,15 of the two knives forming the movable contact. Then, the winding 17 comes to cover the shouldered head of the axis 25 at the end 8 and the winding 18 comes to cap the spring 10 and the cup 11 at the end 9. The fixing of the spring 13 relative to the knives is performed by inserting the two free end portions 20,21 of the indexing spring 13 into two orifices respectively belonging to the two knives. Thus, the spring 13 is mounted by capping the already pre-assembled elements. Its curved ends 20,21 hold it in place. Mobile contacts 1,2,3 of the three phases of the switch are equipped with such an indexing spring 13.

Each fixed contact 4,5,6 has, as more particularly illustrated on the figure 5 , a single knife comprising at its free end, a solid portion 22 of substantially parallelepipedal shape having on its surface 23 intended to come into contact with the movable contact 1, a recess 24, or notch, extending in a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the horizontal strand 19 of the spring 13 and the direction of alignment of the apparatus, and over a certain width of this fixed contact, this width being defined in the plane of the fixed knife 4,5,6 and perpendicular to the direction longitudinal of this fixed knife 4,5,6.

The dimensions of this solid part 22 of the fixed contact 4,5,6 are such that it can be slidably inserted between the two knives 1a, 1b of the movable contact 1,2,3 when brought into contact mobile contact on the fixed contact when closing these contacts.

In operation, when closing the switch I, the horizontal strand 19 of the indexing spring 13 hits the fixed contact 4 at its input radius R1. As a result, the spring 13 is compressed by the vertical groove 14,15 present on the knives. Arrived to the right of the fixed knife 4, the spring 13 engages in the notch 24 located under the fixed contact. The rebound occurs, but the spring 13 opposes the recoil movement of the moving contact 1 and imposes verticality on the knives 1a, 1b of the movable contact 1, 2, 3, as illustrated in FIGS. figures 6 , 7 and 8 .

Thus, the energy present during the rebound is channeled by the spring 13, which spring acts both as a damper of the movement of the movable contact and indexing of the movable contact relative to the fixed contact. During this closing, the movable knives deviate and come to cap the fixed contact against the action of the contact pressure spring. When the movable contacts of the apparatus are opened, the strand 19 of the spring comes into contact with the walls of the solid part 22 of the fixed contact 4 delimiting the notch 24 by the exit radius R2, and the spring 13 easily retracts because its compressive force is low (40N) compared to the torque delivered by the control device (95 Nm).

Thus, the invention is advantageously applicable to any type of medium voltage electrical protection device, such as a switch or a disconnector, having a rotating mobile contact, at the plugging of the electrical contacts.

A device for limiting the rebound of at least one moving contact in a medium-voltage electrical protection device has thus been achieved by means of the invention, said device being of simple design and making it possible to obtain a rigorous and repetitive position of the devices. regardless of their environment so as to ensure an optimal contact surface, this being achieved by the addition of an indexing spring mounted on one of the contacts and a notch provided in the other contact, a horizontal strand of the spring retracting on closing and becoming lodged in the notch, preventing rebound.

Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described and illustrated which has been given by way of example.

Thus, this system can also be used when closing a movable contact on the knife of a fixed earth contact belonging to an earthing switch, the knife having the same notch.
