Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Abgaskrümmer für eine Abgasanlage eines Verbrennungsmotors mit zumindest einer in einer Außenschale 8 angeordneten Innenschale 4 und einem am Zylinderkopf des Verbrennungsmotors festlegbaren Eintrittsflansch 2. Erfindungsgemäß weist die Innenschale 4 an ihrem eintrittsflanschseitigen Rand 24 einen nach außen umgestellten Flansch 25 auf. Im Eintrittsflansch 2 ist eine taschenartige Aufnahme 26 ausgebildet. Die Innenschale 4 ist mit dem Flansch 25 in der Aufnahme 26 positioniert. Die Außenschale 8 übergreift die Innenschale 4 und ist mit ihrem eintrittsflanschseitigen Rand 27 in der Aufnahme 26 positioniert. Hierbei liegt die Stirnseite 28 des Randes 27 der Außenschale 8 zumindest bereichsweise auf dem umgestellten Flansch 25 der Innenschale 4 an. Die Außenschale 8 ist mit der Aufnahme 26 gefügt.
