  10. Assembly according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the carrying handle (6) is arranged on the cap (1) so that the electronic display screen (3) is positioned between the carrying handle (6) and the valve unit.
  11. Assembly according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the electronic display screen (3) displays at least one item of information selected from among time, date, gas stream delivered by the valve, the gas pressure in the cylinder (2), the remaining life of the content of the cylinder (2), the remaining life of the electrical source, the ambient temperature, an alert, the name of the care establishment, the gas expiry date or the gas type.
  12. Assembly according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the protective cap comprises an opening arranged laterally in the protective cap (1) and within which a member for controlling (7) the gas stream is housed.
  13. Assembly according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the protective cap comprises an opening arranged laterally in the protective cap (1), within which a member for controlling the gas stream (7) is housed, selected from among a rotating wheel, a translative slider or a pivoting lever, preferably a rotating wheel.
  14. Assembly according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that a gas outlet connection (8) making it possible to extract the gas delivered by the valve unit is arranged in or protrudes within an opening arranged laterally in the protective cap (1).
  15. Assembly according to one of claims 12 to 13, characterised in that the member (7) for controlling (the gas stream is a rotating wheel, arranged coaxially and rotatably movable about the gas outlet (connection (8) within the opening arranged laterally in the protective cap (1).
  16. Assembly according to claim 5, characterised in that the fastening device (10) comprises two parallel arms, pivoting with respect to the body of the cap (1) and forming tie-down hooks, preferably the two pivoting arms are connected to each other so as to pivot simultaneously with each other.
  17. Assembly according to claim 16, characterised in that the two parallel arms of the fastening device (10) are shaped and sized to allow a tying down or fastening of the assembly to a tubular-shaped support, in particular a hospital bed bar or stretcher bar.
  18. Use of a valve unit according to one of the preceding claims to dispense a gas or gaseous mixture, in particular a gas or gaseous mixture selected from among oxygen, air, N2O/O2, He/O2 and NO/nitrogen.
