  • the experiment involved dosing 500ml of water in a 1 litre bottle along with 4 pieces of terry towel. Liquor to cloth weight ratio was 10:1. The amounts of formulation were also added, and the bottle was agitated for 30 minutes on a rotary stirrer at room temperature to replicate a washing machine. The wash liquor was removed, and each set of terry towels were rinsed twice, for 10 minutes using 500ml of water, again on the rotary stirrer at room temperature. The terry towels were line dried.

Claims (15)

  1. Composition de détergent de lavage comprenant :
    (a) de 1 à 40 % en masse de tensioactif non ionique ;
    (b) de 1 à 40 % en masse de tensioactif anionique ; et,
    (c) de 1 à 15 % en masse d'un acide alkyléther carboxylique ou sel de carboxylate de celui-ci ; et,
    (d) de 0,1 à 10 % en masse d'une polyglucosamine ou d'un copolymère de glucosamine et de N-acétylglucosamine.
  2. Composition selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle l'acide alkyléther carboxylique ou sel de celui-ci, et la polyglucosamine ou le copolymère de glucosamine et de N-acétylglucosamine sont inclus dans la forme d'une émulsion, de préférence d'une émulsion aqueuse, et comprenant éventuellement un émulsionnant.
  3. Composition selon la revendication 1 ou la revendication 2, comprenant :
    (a) de 1 à 40 % en masse de tensioactif non ionique ;
    (b) de 1 à 40 % en masse de tensioactif anionique ; et,
    (c) une émulsion aqueuse comprenant en masse de composition totale :
    (i) de 1 à 15 % en masse d'un acide alkyléther carboxylique ou sel de carboxylate de celui-ci ; et,
    (ii) de 0,1 à 10 % en masse d'une polyglucosamine ou d'un copolymère de glucosamine et de N-acétylglucosamine.
  4. Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle la polyglucosamine ou copolymère de glucosamine et de N-acétylglucosamine est le chitosane.
  5. Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle la polyglucosamine ou copolymère de glucosamine et de N-acétylglucosamine est neutralisé par un acide organique.
  6. Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle la polyglucosamine ou copolymère de glucosamine et de N-acétylglucosamine est présent à une teneur de 0,1 à 7,5 % en masse, de préférence à une teneur de 0,1 à 5 % en masse, encore mieux à une teneur de 0,2 à 2,5 % en masse.
  7. Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle l'acide alkyléther carboxylique ou sel de carboxylate de celui-ci est présent à une teneur de 1 à 10 % en masse, de préférence à une teneur de 2 à 7,5 % en masse.
  8. Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle l'acide alkyléther carboxylique ou sel de carboxylate est décrit par :

    où R représente une chaine alkyle en C6-C22 saturée ou insaturée ; R1 et R2 sont soit tous deux l'hydrogène ; soit R1 est l'hydrogène et R2 est CH3 ; soit R1 est CH3 et R2 est l'hydrogène ; R3 est l'hydrogène, ou un cation solubilisant tel que le sodium, le potassium, l'ammonium ou l'ammonium substitué ; et, n est un nombre de 2 à 20, de préférence de 3 à 12, indiquant le nombre d'unités répétitives.
  9. Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle l'acide alkyléther carboxylique ou sel de carboxylate présente une chaîne alkyle en C8-C18 avec 2-12 unités répétitives de glycol, dans laquelle les unités répétitives de glycol sont choisies parmi l'éthylèneglycol, le propylèneglycol ou des mélanges de ceux-ci.
  10. Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, comprenant de plus de 0,1 à 1 % en masse d'un polymère cationique.
  11. Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, laquelle est une composition liquide.
  12. Composition selon la revendication 11, présentant un pH de 6,2 à 9, de préférence un pH de 6,5 à 8,5, encore mieux un pH de 6,5 à 8.
  13. Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le rapport en masse de l'acide alkyléther carboxylique ou sel de carboxylate de celui-ci à la polyglucosamine ou un copolymère de glucosamine et de N-acétylglucosamine est de 1,5:1 à 100:1.
  14. Procédé d'assouplissement de tissus, comprenant les éta pes :
    (a) de fourniture d'une composition de lavage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes ;
    (b) de mise en contact d'un ou plusieurs articles de textile avec la composition en un ou plusieurs endroits pendant le lavage principal d'un procédé de lavage ; et,
    (c) le laisser sécher des articles de textile ou le séchage mécanique en tambour de ceux-ci.
  15. Utilisation d'une émulsion aqueuse selon l'une quelconque des revendications 2 à 13, comprenant un acide alkyléther carboxylique ou sel de carboxylate de celui-ci, et une polyglucosamine ou un copolymère de glucosamine et de N-acétylglucosamine pour fournir une souplesse à des tissus.
