Description
- The present disclosure relates to an LED lighting fixture, and particularly to an illumination main body of a LED lighting fixture able to rotate or swing relative to the shade of the LED lighting fixture.
- Because Light Emitting Diodes (LED) are light, compact, low-pollution illumination elements with a long usage lifetime, the application of the LED to lighting equipment has become a major development in the optoelectronics industry, and LEDs are gradually replacing traditional light sources. The lighting direction of the conventional LED lighting fixture can be adjusted to fit various needs in an environment; however, the application of an adjustment mechanism to conventional LED lighting fixtures is challenging because conventional LED lighting fixtures are compact and thus provide limited space to fit such a mechanism.
- Therefore, there is a need to develop a new LED lighting fixture by changing its interior structure such that the lighting body of the LED lighting fixture is able to rotate or swing relative to the shade of the LED lighting fixture to solve the disadvantages of the prior art.
-
- A main object of the present disclosure is to provide an LED lighting fixture having an illumination main body that is able to rotate or swing relative to the shade of the LED lighting fixture. To achieve the abovementioned object, the LED lighting fixture of the present disclosure comprises a shade, an illumination main body and a connecting ring. The shade comprises an annular groove and the connecting ring is disposed therein. The connecting ring comprises a first end and a second end, wherein the first end and the
second end both connect to the illumination main body; thus, the illumination main body is able to rotate or swing relative to the shade. The LED light fixture further comprises two sleeves, wherein the two sleeves engage with the first end and the second end individually. -
FIG. 1 is an exploded schematic drawing illustrating an LED lighting fixture according to the present disclosure.FIG. 2 is a schematic drawing illustrating the LED lighting fixture according to the present disclosure.FIG. 3 is a schematic drawing illustrating part of the illumination main body detached from the shade.FIG. 4 is a schematic drawing illustrating the illumination main body rotated relative to the shade. - To facilitate understanding and to clarify the object, characteristics, and advantages of the present disclosure, the following specific embodiments and figures illustrating the present disclosure are presented as a detailed description.
- Please refer to
FIG. 1 to FIG. 4 .FIG. 1 is an exploded schematic drawing illustrating an LED lighting fixture according to the present disclosure;FIG. 2 is a schematic drawing illustrating the LED lighting fixture according to the present disclosure;FIG. 3 is a schematic drawing illustrating part of the illumination main body detached from the shade;FIG. 4 is a schematic drawing illustrating the illumination main body rotated relative to the shade. - As shown in
FIG. 1 to FIG. 4 , in an embodiment of the present disclosure, theLED lighting fixture 1 comprises ashade 10, afront cover 20, a connectingring 30 and an illuminationmain body 40. In the present embodiment, theLED lighting fixture 1 is a recessed lighting fixture. Theshade 10 comprises anannular groove 11. Thefront cover 20 connects to the illuminationmain body 40. The connectingring 30 is rotatably disposed in theannular groove 11. The illuminationmain body 40 connects to theshade 10 via the connectingring 30. Thus, as shown inFIG. 4 , the illuminationmain body 40 is able to rotate or swing relative to theshade 10 such that the illumination direction of the illuminationmain body 40 can be adjusted. - In the present embodiment, as shown in
FIG. 1 , the connectingring 30 comprises afirst end 31, asecond end 32 and acurved portion 33, wherein thefirst end 31 and thesecond end 32 are situated on the same axis L. There is a gap H between thefirst end 31 and thesecond end 32. The two ends of thecurved portion 33 are connected to thefirst end 31 and thesecond end 32 individually and the connectingring 30 is rotatably disposed in theannular groove 11 because thecurved portion 33 is engaged with theannular groove 11. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, the connectingring 30 is a spring ring for facilitating the engagement between theannular groove 11 and thecurved portion 33. It is noted that the gap H in the present embodiment is 1.5 cm; however, the present disclosure is not limited to this. The size of the gap H may vary depending on the size of the illuminationmain body 40 or the thickness of the connectingring 30. Furthermore, it is also acceptable that there is no gap H between thefirst end 31 and thesecond end 32. - As shown in
FIG. 1 , the illuminationmain body 40 of the present embodiment comprises two connectingslots 41 for individually connecting to thefirst end 31 and thesecond end 32. However, the present disclosure is not limited to the present embodiment; thefirst end 31 and thesecond end 32 can still be connected to the connectingslot 41 even if there is only one connectingslot 41. Furthermore, theLED lighting fixture 1 of the present embodiment further comprises twosleeves 50. Thefirst end 31 and thesecond end 32 are both engaged with onesleeve 50 such that the friction between the illuminationmain body 40, thefirst end 31 and thesecond end 32 increases accordingly. Thesleeve 50 can be made from rubber, plastics or the like. - According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, when the illumination direction of the
LED lighting fixture 1 needs to be adjusted, as shown inFIG. 3 andFIG. 4 , the illuminationmain body 40 can be pushed, for example by the fingers of the user, to cause part of the illuminationmain body 40 to swing and then to be exposed to theshade 10. It is noted that after part of the illuminationmain body 40 is exposed to theshade 10, the central axis of the illuminationmain body 40 no longer overlaps with the central axis of theshade 10 because the illuminationmain body 40 is slightly tilted. Thus the weight of the illuminationmain body 40 is borne by thefirst end 31 and thesecond end 32 of the connectingring 30. As shown inFIG. 4 , the exposed part of the illuminationmain body 40 can be rotated when a user holds and rotates it. As a result, the illuminationmain body 40 is able to rotate relative to theshade 10 due to the rotation performed by thecurved portion 33 in theannular groove 11, such that the lighting direction of the illuminationmain body 40 can be adjusted. - Due to the design of the connecting
ring 30, the illuminationmain body 40 of theLED lighting fixture 1 can be rotated relative to theshade 10, and the illumination direction of the illuminationmain body 40 can be thus adjusted by rotating or swinging the illuminationmain body 40, without any complicated mechanisms, so the problem of the prior art is solved. - It is noted that the above-mentioned embodiments are only for illustration. It is intended that the present disclosure cover modifications and variations of this disclosure provided they fall within the scope of the following claims and their equivalents.
