Description
The invention relates to a method for operating a remote control system and such a remote control system.
Work machines that can be operated by means of a remote control system have long been known. A work machine includes a plurality of components and actuators that can be operated by the remote control system. Due to the complexity of the work machine, the operation of the remote control system by means of a control unit is complicated. The operating unit requires a large number of displays and operating elements, in particular in the case of a complex work machine. An operating element may be, for example, a button, a switch, a control lever or a rotary switch. In order to reduce the number of operating elements on the operating unit, a screen can be used in the operating unit. A screen makes it possible to use a plurality of operating menus, in particular with changing symbols and / or displays, a reduced number of operating elements more Assign functions. As a result, an increased functional density can be achieved. However, the increased functional density leads to an increased operating effort for an operator. In particular, it is disadvantageous that the operator must navigate through an increased number of operating menus. It is therefore an object of the present invention to improve a method of operating a remote control system such that the operation is simplified.
This object is achieved by a method having the features specified in claim 1.
According to the invention, it has been recognized that it is possible to reduce the number of operating and selection menus that are displayed to an operator by means of a display of a control unit of a remote control system. This is done by selecting at least one operating and selection menu depending on a working machine-actual configuration. Depending on the working machine-actual configuration, the navigation possibility between the operating and selection menus is meaningfully reduced by carrying out a preselection of useful menus. In particular, the preselection is done automatically. The working machine actual configuration is detected by means of a control unit of the working machine. The control unit is in communication with a communication unit. The communication unit is part of the remote control system and serves for communication with the operating unit. The operating unit is in particular wirelessly connected to the communication unit. This can be done for example by radio. There are also other wireless signal transmission options conceivable as Bluetooth. The communication unit is in particular arranged directly in the machine to be operated therewith. The communication unit is connected, for example, wired to the control unit. Selecting reduces the number of operating and selection menus displayed by the display on the control panel. In particular, in addition to the functions of the working machine, the control unit also controls the representation of the operating and selection menus on the operating unit. An operation unit-actual configuration has an operation unit-actual menu structure formed by the operation and selection menus. By selecting and transmitting the operating and selection menus to the operating unit, the operating unit-actual menu structure of the operating unit can be specifically changed. Changing the operating unit-actual menu structure is thereby simplified. Thus, the method according to the invention not only allows an individualized key assignment of a remote control, but also makes it possible to adapt a structure of different menus. Each menu, such as operating menus and / or selection menus, is suitable for handling the remote control system. The handling of the remote control system and the operation of the working machine are simplified. In particular, it is not necessary for an operator himself, ie manually, to undertake a complex menu control on the operating unit. In particular, it is not necessary for the operator to reduce the number of operating and selection menus and, in particular, to deselect unnecessary operating and selection menus. The operator is taken off the navigation through the relevant operating and display menus. In particular, the number of operations that the operator must perform is reduced. Such a method is effective and therefore inexpensive. Such a method is less error prone. A remote control system may include an operating unit and a communication unit in communication therewith. The
In the following, a method for operating the remote control system 1 will be explained in more detail. First, the remote control system 1 is provided with the
This makes it possible, starting from a number n of operating and selection menus, which could be displayed by means of the
The remote control system 1, in particular the operating
