Definitions
- the invention relates to a shoe which comprises a first footwear element and a second footwear element, the second footwear element being intended to be inserted into or removed from the first footwear element.
- a shoe is known from DE 36 28 913 .
- the shoe can be used in areas such as snow surfing, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, hiking, or telemark skiing, or mountaineering, walking or running on a level ground or in the mountains, the wheeled board, a sport of ball or racket, or other.
- the foot For the intended uses, it is to welcome the foot with sufficient comfort, including ensuring proper management of moisture and temperature in the shoe. This is important for example in snow surfing, activity for which the performance of a user is conditioned by these factors among others.
- a shoe which comprises a first footwear element and a second footwear element, the second footwear element being intended to be inserted into the first footwear in a reversible manner.
- the second footwear element can be introduced into or removed from the first element.
- the first element has properties such as good mechanical strength, good wear resistance, good sealing, or other because it is directly exposed to the environment.
- the second footwear meanwhile, has properties such as a certain ability to absorb the moisture generated by the foot, a certain damping shock or driving impulse, some thermal insulation, or other, because he is closer to the foot.
- a shoe with two footwear elements, as shown above, is interesting especially in the field of snow surfing. Indeed, the shoe is structured to allow efficient driving of a gliding board, and also to allow walking in good conditions. It can be said that the shoe presented above generally provides sufficient comfort, in the sense that the moisture is in principle present in moderate amounts, and in the sense that the foot is kept warm without excess. The moisture that may appear in the shoe during use can be extracted after use. This requires removing the second footwear element from the first, then let the elements dry. These must be dry before the next use. In some cases, however, it has appeared that the comfort of the shoe becomes insufficient because of the humidity.
- a problem correlated with the accumulation of moisture or water is that of drying. Indeed, once the water is in place, the shoe needs a lot of time to dry. This prolongs the duration of the discomfort during the current use, or the waiting time of drying before the next use.
- a problem still observed on the known shoes is that of the service life. More specifically, the prolonged presence of moisture or water at the stem, especially in the second footwear element, tends to damage the structure. That is to say that the prolonged presence of water can reduce the longevity of a shoe.
- the invention generally aims to improve a shoe for practices mentioned in the preamble.
- the invention aims to preserve the comfort of the shoe.
- the invention seeks to reduce or eliminate the volume of moisture or water that may be in the shoe.
- the invention wishes to preserve the comfort of the shoe, and avoid the appearance of trauma such as those related to moisture or water.
- the invention seeks to make it faster to dry a shoe soaked in water.
- Another object of the invention is to increase the life of the shoe, in particular by reducing or even eliminating the detrimental effects related to the presence of water in a footwear element.
- Another object of the invention is to widen the possible choice for materials that can be used to make the shoe.
- the invention proposes a shoe comprising a first footwear element and a second footwear element, the second footwear element being intended to be inserted into the first footwear in a reversible manner, the first footwear element extending in length from a rear end to a front end, in width between a lateral side and a medial side, and in height from one sole to an upper end, the second footwear element extending in length from a rear end to a rear end; front end, in width between a lateral side and a medial side, and in height from a sole to an upper end.
- the sole of the second footwear element is structured to let a fluid pass and the shoe comprises a inner sole provided to be disposed within the second footwear element, the insole being structured to let a fluid.
- the second footwear element is the one that comes closest to the foot and, as a result, it receives directly moisture or water produced by the foot. Because it is both the sole and the insole that are able to pass a fluid, the second footwear element according to the invention allows better evacuation of water or the passage of air, for example, relative to a footwear element according to the prior art. It will be better understood later that the passage of a fluid takes place in different circumstances. It is already specified that the water can be removed outside the second footwear element during the use of the shoe. Surprisingly, for example when surfing on snow, the movements of the user to drive the board cause deformations of the shoe. These deformations cause small relative movements between the footwear, which leads to ventilation of the shoe. The water moves between the first and second elements, to be evacuated in part at least towards the upper ends, that is to say in a direction of extraction outside the shoe.
- the water can also be evacuated outside the second footwear element when the shoe is not in use. This is particularly true when the second footwear item is removed from the first: the sole of the second element promotes rapid drying. It is both air and water that can pass.
- the shoe according to the invention promotes the reduction of the amount of water contained in particular in the second footwear element, whether in dynamic mode or in static mode, that is to say during use, or outside of 'a use.
- Some of the benefits of this include improved comfort or, in other words, a reduction or elimination of the risk of moisture or water-related injuries.
- the shoe thus covers its natural state, which consists in staying dry, more quickly. The user can find faster good conditions of use.
- the life of the shoe is increased because the penalizing effects related to the presence of water in a footwear element are reduced. For example, the bonding zones and the materials constituting the footwear elements are preserved.
- the invention has improved a shoe intended for the practices mentioned in the preamble.
- the first embodiment that will be described after relates for example to a snowboard boot, to drive a gliding board on which rest the two feet of the user.
- the invention applies to other fields such as those mentioned before.
- the first embodiment is described using the Figures 1 to 4 .
- a snowboarding shoe is provided to accommodate the foot and part of the lower leg of the user.
- the boot 1 comprises a first footwear element 2 and a second footwear element 3, the second footwear element 3 being provided to be inserted into the first footwear in a reversible manner.
- the second footwear element can, at will, be placed inside the first or be removed.
- the first footwear element 2 comprises an outer sole 4 and an outer envelope 5 secured to the sole.
- the first footwear element 2 extends in length, in a longitudinal direction L, from a rear end or heel 6 to a front end or tip 7, in width, in a transverse direction W, between a lateral side 8 and a medial side 9, and in height since the outer sole 4 to an upper end 10. Since the first footwear element 2 is an outer portion of the shoe 1, it can be said that in practice the shoe 1 comprises a sole external 4 and an outer envelope 5 secured to the sole.
- the shoe 1 extends in length from a rear end 6 to a front end 7, in width between a lateral side 8 and a medial side 9, and in height from the outer sole 4 to an upper end 10.
- the second footwear element 3 comprises a sole 14 and an envelope 15 secured to the sole.
- the second footwear element 3 extends in length from a rear end or heel 16 to a front end or tip 17, in width between a lateral side 18 and a medial side 19, and in height from the sole 14 to an upper end 20.
- the sole 14 is said internal when the second footwear element 3 is housed in the first footwear element 2 to form the shoe 1.
- the respective seals 4, 14 of the first 2 and second 3 footwear elements together form a significant part of the sole of the shoe 1.
- the respective envelopes 5, 15 of the first 2 and second 3 footwear elements together form a significant portion, or even all, of the upper of the boot 1.
- the upper of the shoe 1 as shown comprises a lower portion, provided to cover the foot, and an upper portion, provided to cover the ankle and possibly a portion of the lower leg of the user.
- the rod may comprise a lower portion to the exclusion of any upper portion.
- each envelope 5, 15 here comprises a lower portion and an upper portion. That is to say that the first footwear element 2 comprises a lower portion 21 and an upper portion 22. Similarly, the second footwear element 3 comprises a lower portion 23 and an upper portion 24.
- the upper end 10 of the first footwear element defines a rear opening 25, located on the side of the rear end 6, provided to accommodate a portion of the lower leg.
- the upper end 10 also defines a front opening 26, provided for the passage of the foot during a boot or a heaving.
- the rear openings 25 and before 26 extend one another.
- Non-obligatorily a tab 27 closes, at least in part, the front opening 26.
- the first footwear element 2 comprises a first clamping device 28, provided for clamping the casing 5 in a reversible manner, at the level of the opening before 26.
- the device 28 is not described here because it is well known to those skilled in the art. It is nevertheless observed that, still in the spirit of the invention, provision can be made not to equip the first footwear element 2 with a clamping device.
- the upper end 20 of the second footwear element 3 delimits a rear opening 30, located on the side of the rear end 16, intended to accommodate a portion of the bottom of the leg.
- the upper end 20 also defines a front opening 31, provided for the passage of the foot during a boot or a heaving.
- the rear openings 30 and before 31 extend one another.
- a tongue 32 closes, at least in part, the front opening 31.
- the second footwear element 3 comprises a second clamping device 33, provided for clamping the envelope 15 in a reversible manner, at the level of the opening before 31. Again the device 33 is not described because well known to those skilled in the art. It is also possible not to equip the second footwear element 3 with a clamping device.
- the boot 1 is structured to allow inclinations of the lower leg during the driving of a board, a good unwinding of the foot during walking, transmissions of sensory information, and pulse transmissions for support or receptions.
- the seals 4, 14 and the envelopes 5, 15 are relatively flexible.
- the first footwear element 2 comprises a flexible envelope 5
- the second footwear element 3 comprises a flexible envelope 15.
- the soleing 14 of the second footwear element 3 is structured to pass a fluid
- the shoe 1 comprises an inner soleplate 35 intended to be disposed inside the second footwear element 3
- the insole 35 is structured to let one go through. fluid.
- the moisture or water appeared inside the second footwear element 3 can come out through successively the inner sole 35 and then the sole 14.
- the crossing occurs, surprisingly, during the use of the shoe 1 for example to drive a board. Movements during driving cause small relative movements between the first footwear element 2 and the second footwear element 3. These movements are sufficient to cause the water contained in the second element outside the shoe, at the upper extremities. 10, 20, traveling between the elements 2, 3. There is a pumping effect which significantly reduces the water content of the shoe.
- the crossing of moisture or water, at the level of the inner sole 35 and the sole 14, is also done when the shoe is not used and the second element 3 is outside the first element 2.
- the drying of the second element 3 is fast. It can be said that the evacuation of water is done both during use and out of use. This makes the shoe more comfortable, in the sense that the occurrence of trauma due to the presence of water is reduced or non-existent.
- the sole 14 of the second footwear element 3 comprises a perforated layer 36.
- the sole assembly 14 comprises a layer 36 traversed, in the direction of the thickness, through orifices 37. These are distributed evenly over the length of the sowing for better evacuation of water.
- the orifices 37 have for example a circular shape, knowing that other shapes could be suitable. Alternatively, the orifices 37 may not be distributed throughout the sole assembly 14.
- the insole 35 of the shoe 1 comprises a perforated layer 38.
- the inner sole 35 comprises a layer 38 traversed, in the direction of the thickness, by orifices 39. These are again evenly distributed over the extent of the sole 35, for better evacuation of water.
- the orifices 39 have for example a circular shape, knowing that other shapes could be suitable. Alternatively, the orifices 39 may not be distributed everywhere on the sole 35.
- the orifices 37 of the perforated layer 36 of the sole 14 are aligned with the orifices 39 of the perforated layer 38 of the insole 35. This occurs because the insole 35 is juxtaposed with the sole 14 of the second footwear element 3, and that these parts 35, 14 each have the same geometry, that is to say the same general shape. It follows that the evacuation of the water is easier, since the respective orifices 37, 39 of the sole 14 and the inner sole 35 extend one another.
- the second footwear element 3 comprises a flexible envelope 15 secured to a flexible sole 14 by seam 40. This gives the second footwear element 3 the greatest possible flexibility, for better evacuation of water during the use of the shoe.
- a second footwear element 3 with its sole 14 and its envelope 15.
- one or both sides 18, 19 of the second footwear element 3 are structured to let a fluid pass. This allows evacuation of moisture or water at the sides 18, 19.
- one or both sides 18, 19 of the second footwear element 3 are perforated. This means, for example, that one or both sides are traversed, in the direction of the thickness, by orifices 45. These are located for example close to the sole 14.
- the orifices 45 have, for example, a circular shape , knowing that other forms might be suitable. Alternatively, the orifices 45 may be distributed elsewhere on the envelope 15.
- holes 37 are formed in the sole 14, and orifices 45 are formed in the casing 15. This increases the ability of the shoe 1 to evacuate the water which could take place in the second footwear element.
- the sole 14 of the second footwear element 3 comprises a layer 47 which has the appearance of a net.
- This one is a simple piece and easy to manufacture.
- the net plays a role of reinforcement, protection, while allowing the passage of water.
- the sole 14 comprises a perforated layer 36 as in the first form, and the layer 47 which has the appearance of a net.
- the sole 14 is a complex which comprises several layers. Moreover, the number of layers can be greater than two.
- the layer 47 which has the appearance of a net is an outer layer of the second footwear element 3.
- the net serves as protection against possible friction, for example to walk in a shelter without using the first footwear element 2.
- the inner sole 35 here comprises a hydrophobic porous layer 51.
- This layer is for example fabricated from fabric, a significant proportion of fibers or son are hydrophobic.
- a fabric or knit fabric comprising synthetic yarns, based on materials such as polyethylene, polyurethane, or the like, may be suitable.
- the hydrophobic layer 51 causes the water expressed by the foot away from the foot, that is to say in a direction of crossing the thickness of the sole 35.
- the insole 35 comprises a hydrophilic porous layer 52, juxtaposed with the hydrophobic layer 51.
- the hydrophilic layer 52 is for example manufactured from tissue, a significant proportion of the fibers or threads are hydrophilic. A fabric or knit fabric comprising natural yarns, based on materials such as cotton, linen, or the like, may be suitable.
- the hydrophilic layer 52 recovers the water coming from the hydrophobic layer 51.
- the insole 35 is arranged so that the hydrophobic layer is turned towards the foot of the user .
- the hydrophilic layer 52 is opposite the sole 14.
- the inner sole 35 conducts the water from the inside of the footwear element 3 to the sole 14.
- the fifth embodiment there is a shoe 1 with a first footwear element 2 and a second footwear element 3.
- the upper of the shoe 1 comprises only a lower portion.
- the first footwear element 2 comprises only a lower portion 21, and the second footwear element 3 comprises only a low portion 23.
- This shoe is well suited to walking, as well as running on regular or uneven ground, these the last can be mountainous reliefs or stairs in the city.
- the first footwear element 2 comprises a rigid portion 55.
- the rigid part 55 is here a shell base, which is part of a ski boot such as a ski boot track.
- the shell base delimits a reception volume of the user's foot.
- the rigidity allows the restraint of the shoe on a ski, as is well known to those skilled in the art.
- envelopes 5, 15 of the footwear elements 2, 3 may each comprise one or more layers of materials such as leather, rubber, or various plastics laminated, woven, knitted, or implemented by any suitable technique.
- the casing 5 of the first element 2 may have a lower portion 21 and an upper portion 22, while the casing 15 of the second member 3 has only a lower portion 23.
