Abstract

A lighting device includes a housing having an open end and a geometrical axis (310) and at least one light source (304) disposed along an optical axis (302), the optical axis (302) being at an angle with respect to the geometrical axis (310). The lighting device further includes at least two converging lenses (306, 314), wherein one converging lens is positioned to collect most of the light from a light source and another converging lens is positioned to close the open end of the signal lamp and distribute the light for a given specification.
