  • PRIOR ART DOCUMENT PATENT DOCUMENT
  • [Patent Document No.1] Utility Model Registration No. 3150532 Publication
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED BY THE INVENTION
  • The wallet disclosed in Patent Document No.1, however, is formed with combined multiple cloths as separate parts such as a coin storage partitioning cloth, a coin storage gusset cloth, and a card storage partition cloth, etc., and therefore its storage part is not integrally formed. Accordingly, many processes are required in the manufacturing process, so that it takes time and labor to manufacture the wallet and also takes a high cost. Moreover, cloth is employed as a material, but not a silicone resin, and furthermore, an integral mold of a storage portion using a silicone resin material is not disclosed or suggested.
  • In consideration for such a technical problem described above, the object of the present invention is to provide a clasp-top wallet made of silicone resin whose storage portion is separated by a partition portion regardless of being molded integrally.
  • MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS
  • To solve the technical problem described above, in one aspect of the invention, provided is a wallet made of a silicone resin, comprising: a pair of flat portions facing each other; a bottom portion connected to a bottom edge of each flat portion; a pair of side portions connected to right and left edges of the flat portions; and a partition portion for dividing a space formed from the flat portions, the bottom portion, and the side portions, wherein at least the flat portions, the bottom portion, the side portions, and the partition portion are integrally molded.
  • In this aspect, each of the flat portions may have at an upper edge an upper thickness portion with a predetermined thickness, and a hollow cylindrical metal fitting portion may be formed inside of each thickness part, and a metal frame may be attached to the metal fitting portion to render the flat portions open and closed.
  • In this aspect, knob portions may be attached to each of the upper thickness portions and the metal fitting portions, and the flat portions may be kept closed by the facing knob portions fitting each other.
  • In this aspect, the flat portions may have an approximately trapezoidal shape with at least upper right and left corners being rounded, be warped with a predetermined curvature in a closed state, and become a flat surface in an open state
  • In this aspect, the side portions may be formed with creases during integral molding.
  • ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION
  • According to the wallet of the present invention, it is possible to divide a storage portion by a partition despite being integrally molded.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
    • Fig. 1 is a front view of the wallet according to the present invention.
    • Fig. 2 is a side view of the wallet according to the present invention.
    • Fig. 3 is a plane view of the wallet according to the present invention.
    • Fig. 4 is a plane view of the wallet according to the present invention in a closed state.
    • Fig. 5 is a perspective view of the wallet according to the present invention in an open state.
    EMBODIMENTS TO EMPLOY THE INVENTION
  • Hereinafter, referring to the drawings, preferred embodiments regarding a wallet according to the present invention are described. It is to be noted that the wallet according to the present invention is not limited to those described below and is properly modifiable as far as not deviated from the subject matter of the invention.
  • A wallet according to an embodiment of the present invention is described referring to Fig. 1 illustrating a front view of the wallet; Fig. 2, a side view of the wallet; Fig 3, a plane view of the wallet; Fig. 4, a plane view of the wallet in a closed state; and Fig. 5, a perspective view of the wallet in an open state.
  • As illustrated in these Figures, the wallet 1 comprises flat portions 2, 3 having an approximately trapezoidal shape with at least upper right and left corners being rounded. It is to be noted that the shape of flat portions are not limited to an approximately trapezoid. The flat portions 2, 3 are warped with a predetermined curvature when viewed from the side in the closed state, since the flat portions 2, 3 are made of a flexible and elastic material. It is also to be noted that when viewed from the side in an open state, the flat portions 2, 3 are not warped, and become a flat surface. The flexibility of a silicone resin material allows such a flexible change in shape. Accordingly, the opening becomes large when flat portions 2, 3 are opened, which enables paper money, cards, and coins to be easily taken out, and the wallet can be made compact in size when flat portions 2, 3 are closed, which makes it suitable to carry.
  • A bottom edge of each of the flat portions 2, 3 is connected to a bottom portion 4. Right and left edges of the flat portions 2, 3 have side thickness portions 7, 8 having a predetermined thickness (for example, 3 to 6 mm), and right and left edges of the bottom portion 4 have a bottom thickness portion 9 having a predetermined thickness (for example, 3 to 6 mm). These side thickness portions 7, 8 and the bottom thickness portion 9 are respectively connected to side portions 10 which are opened or folded in response to the opening and closing of the wallet 1. The side portions 10 have creases formed during or after molding. With these creases, a regular opening and closing (folding) is achieved.
  • The flat portions 2, 3 has, at an upper edge, upper thickness portions 12, 13, respectively, having a predetermined thickness (for example. 3 to 6 mm), and the upper thickness portions 12, 13 have therein hollow cylindrical metal fitting portions 15, 16 for pivotably attaching metal frames 11a, 11b. A knob portion 5 is attached to the upper thickness portion 12 and the metal fitting portion 15, and a knob portion 6 is attached to the upper thickness portion 13 and the metal fitting portion 16. The metal frames 11a, 11b are pivotable around a pivot center 11c in response to the opening and closing of the flat portions 2, 3. These pivots of the metal frames 11a, 11b ensure an opening and closing of flat portions 2, 3.
  • The knob portions 5, 6 are composed of sphere portions 5a, 6a, and cylindricalshaped supporting post portions 5b, 6b for supporting the sphere portions 5a, 6a. The supporting post portion 5b extends to the flat portion 3 with slightly inclining more than a tilt angle of the flat portion 2 of a closed state. Where the flat portions 2, 3 are in the closed state, a part of bottom surface of the sphere portion 5a attached to the top of the supporting post portion 5b abuts on the upper thickness portion 13 of the flat portion 3. An abutting surface of the sphere portion 5a may be partially a recess. Providing such a recess enables to achieve stronger fitting.
  • The supporting post portion 6b extends to the flat portion 2 with slightly inclining more than a tilt angle of flat portion 3 of a closed state. Where the flat portions 2, 3 are in the closed state, a part of bottom surface of the sphere portion 6a attached to the top of the supporting post portion 6b abuts on the upper thickness portion 12 of the flat portion 2. An abutting surface of the sphere portion 6a may be partially a recess. Providing such a recess enables to achieve stronger fitting.
  • Where the flat parts 2, 3 are in the closed state, a part of the outer peripheral surface of the sphere portions 5a, 6a abut against each other. That is, by abutting of the sphere portions 5a, 6a on the upper thickness parts 13, 12, and by abutting of the sphere portions 5a, 6a against each other, the flat portions 2, 3 are kept closed. Where the flat portions 2, 3 are in the closed state, the metal fitting portions 15, 16 abut against each other. In this way, a space formed from the flat portions 2, 3, the side portions 10, and the bottom portion 4 is brought into a closed state. Accordingly, items stowed inside are prevented from getting out unwillingly.
  • Where the flat parts 2, 3 are closed, bending portions 10a, 10b, 10c of the side portions 10 are folded. More specifically, the bending portions 10a, 10b are valley-folded to be contained in such a manner that the bending portions 10a, 10b are sandwiched between a partition portion and the flat portions 2, 3, and the bending portion 10c is mountain-folded. A space formed from the flat portions 2, 3, the side portions 10, and the bottom portion 4 is divided into two parts with the partition portion 14. With this, it is possible to separate and stow paper money, coins, and cards, etc. In this example, one partition portion 14 is disposed on a center for dividing the space into two, but is not limited to this; multiple partition portions 14 may be disposed. The partition portion 14 is not attached after the entire form is molded, but is molded integrally.
  • As described above, the wallet according to the present invention is characterized by a wallet made of a silicone resin, comprising: a pair of flat portions facing each other; a bottom portion connected to a bottom edge of each flat portion; a pair of side portions connected to right and left edges of the flat portions; and a partition portion for dividing a space formed from the flat portions, the bottom portion, and the side portions, wherein at least the flat portions, the bottom portion, the side portions, and the partition portion are integrally molded.
  • Here, the wallet according to the present invention is also characterized by that upper edges of the flat portions 2, 3 have thickness portions 12, 13 with a predetermined thickness, and the inside of the thickness portions 12, 13 are formed with hollow cylindrical metal fitting portions 15, 16. At the cylindrical metal fitting portions 15, 16, metal frames 11a, 11b may be mounted for rendering the flat portions 2, 3 open and closed. With this, a regular opening and closing of flat portions 2, 3 is achieved.
  • The wallet according to the present invention is further characterized by that knob portions 5, 6 are attached to each of the upper thickness portions 12, 13 of the flat portions 2, 3 and the metal fitting portions 15, 16, the flat portions 2, 3 are kept closed by the facing knob portions 5, 6 fitting each other. With this, stowed items are prevented from getting out unwillingly.
  • The wallet according to the present invention is further characterized by that the flat portions 2, 3 have an approximately trapezoidal shape with at least upper right and left corners being rounded, are warped with a predetermined curvature in the closed state, and become a flat surface in an open state. With this, the wallet can be made compact in size when flat portions 2, 3 are closed, and the opening becomes large when flat portions 2, 3 are opened, which enable items to be put in/out easily.
  • The wallet according to the present invention is further characterized by that side portions 10 are formed with creases during integral molding. With this creases, a regular opening and closing of flat portions 2, 3 is achieved.
  • The structure of the wallet according to the present invention is characterized by that a silicone resin is employed as a material, and that an inside of the clasp-top wallet has a partition portion formed by integral molding. This structure is often found in leather products and sewn products, but in a wallet made of a silicone resin, it is unprecedented that a clasp-top wallet made of silicone has a partition integrally molded, but not formed by combining separate parts.
