The present invention relates to an undergarment of contention.

The invention applies in particular to the field of sport, both professional and amateur.

It is known for an athlete to wear, during the practice of physical activity and during the subsequent recovery phase, underwear intended to facilitate muscle recovery. Such undergarments generally have the effect of compressing the muscles or muscle groups likely to be stressed during physical activity, for example the muscle groups of the thighs.

Indeed, such a compression action is for example intended to improve the venous return within the muscles solicited during physical activity, and this to promote the drainage through the blood metabolic waste produced by the muscles during the physical effort. The blood loaded with waste is then conveyed to the organs suitable for filtering it. These wastes, when they are not quickly removed from the muscles concerned, are usually the source of muscle aches, cramps or even micro-lesions.

The elimination of metabolic waste released into the muscles during physical activity has the effect of reducing the athlete's recovery time and feeling of muscular fatigue, as well as limiting the risk of muscle injuries.

US-2006/169004 discloses a compression garment comprising a plurality of woven fabric panels, assembled to each other and intended to exert a compression and compression action on the muscles of an athlete wearing said undergarment.

Nevertheless, such undergarments are not easy to manufacture and therefore do not give complete satisfaction. Indeed, their realization requires the assembly of the inserts between them, the inserts to be carefully positioned relative to each other. Such an assembly is therefore long and tedious.

An object of the invention is to provide an undergarment allowing a faster muscle recovery in the athlete by exerting a compression-compression action which is targeted at muscles or predetermined muscle groups of an athlete, and whose manufacture is easy.

To this end, the subject of the invention is an undergarment of the aforementioned type, characterized in that it comprises a panty of longitudinal axis and comprising a first woven fabric, on which is reported at least one yoke comprising a second textile woven, the first textile and the second textile each having a maximum elongation greater than 20%.

In fact, an undergarment comprising a woven fabric makes it possible to exert a greater compressive and / or restrictive force than a known undergarment, and which generally comprises a knitted fabric. A greater force of compression and / or restraint results in an improvement in venous return.

In addition, the inserts reported on the pants allow additional restraining action on specific areas of the leg, for example the thigh, which has the effect of limiting the sloshing of the muscles covered by these inserts and stressed during the effort , this jolt having the effect of contributing to their myolysis and increase muscle fatigue.

The undergarment 5 comprises a panty 15, also called boxer, and inserts 20 attached to the boxer 15.

The boxer 15 comprises a front face 25, partially visible on the figure 1 , and a rear face 30, partially visible on the figure 2 . The boxer 15 has a longitudinal axis XX, corresponding to the direction in which the boxer is threaded.

The boxer 25 comprises a first woven fabric 35. For example, the boxer is mainly made of a first textile 35.

The first textile 35 is elastic and comprises for example elastane.

The boxer 25 has two legs 37. For example, each leg 37 is likely to cover the thighs of the athlete 10 to the knees when wearing the undergarment 5.

Each leg 37 extends substantially parallel along the longitudinal axis X-X of the boxer 15.

The boxer 15 further comprises an upper edge 38 and a band 39, for example an elastic band, arranged along the upper edge 38 and fixed, for example sewn, to the latter. The band 39 allows for example a better maintenance of the undergarment 5 during its wearing.

The first textile 35 is a textile obtained by conventional weaving of first warp threads and first weft threads.

Preferably, the mechanical properties of the first textile 35, for example the elongation of the first textile 35 as a function of the traction force applied thereto, are close along two first directions defined by the first warp threads and the first weft threads.

The first textile 35 preferably has a maximum elongation in the first two directions of between 65% and 115%, for example between 80% and 100%, as illustrated by FIG. figure 3 .

Maximum elongation is understood to mean the elongation beyond which the tissue does not elastically return to its rest state.

Advantageously, the 40% elongation of the first textile 35 in the first two directions is achieved for a tensile force of between 0.5 N and 5 N, for example between 1 N and 3 N.

Preferably, at rest, the first warp threads of the first textile 35 are substantially parallel to the X-X axis of the undergarment 5.

The use of such a first woven fabric makes it possible to permanently exert a compressive force on the entire surface covered by the boxer 15, in particular the muscles of the thighs and the gluteal muscles of the athlete 10. This has the effect of improve the venous and lymphatic return of the athlete, and thus promote the elimination of metabolic waste products within said muscles during physical exertion. An improved venous and lymphatic return also allows a faster resorption of hematomas, for example hematomas resulting from shocks received during the practice of a physical activity.

These effects are achieved when the athlete wears an undergarment of appropriate size. Preferably, for an athlete whose thighs have a circumference of 50 cm in their middle part, each leg 37 of the boxer 15 of the underwear 5 of appropriate size has at rest a circumference less than 40 cm, for example less than 38 cm in its portion intended to cover said middle portion, so that when the undergarment is worn, at least a portion of the first warp threads of the first textile and / or at least a portion of the first weft son of the first textile of the Boxer 15 are elastically stretched to more than 20%, for example more than 30%, of their length at rest.

The inserts 20 comprise a second woven fabric 40. For example, the inserts 20 are mainly made in the second textile 40.

The second textile 40 preferably has a maximum elongation, in the direction of the second warp threads, of between 25% and 65%, for example between 35% and 55%, as appears on the curve 40A of the figure 4 .

Advantageously, the 40% elongation of the second textile 40 in the direction of the second warp son is achieved for a tensile force of between 5 N and 35 N, for example between 15 N and 25 N.

The second textile 40 preferably has a maximum elongation, in the direction of the second weft yarns, of between 100% and 180%, for example between 120% and 160%, as can be seen in curve 40A of FIG. figure 4 .

Advantageously, the 40% elongation of the second textile 40 in the direction of the second weft son is achieved for a tensile force of between 1 N and 10 N, for example between 3 N and 5 N.

Preferably, the force required to achieve a 40% elongation of the first warp threads and first weft yarns of the first fabric 35 is less than the force required to achieve 40% elongation of the second warp yarns or second yarns. weft of the second textile 40.

The inserts 20 are held on the boxer 15 only by seams, for example the seams 60 on their peripheral edge 42.

A first series of blood tests was performed on an athlete wearing an undergarment according to the invention during physical activity requiring the thigh muscles, and during a recovery phase. A first sample was taken at rest, before physical activity. A second blood sample took place half an hour after the end of physical activity. A third sample was taken four hours after the second sample.

A second series of blood tests was performed according to the protocol described above, on the same athlete, the athlete not wearing underwear compression.

A third series of blood tests was performed according to the protocol described above, on the same athlete, the athlete wearing the underwear of compression of the first series.

A fourth series of blood tests was carried out according to the protocol described above, on the same athlete, the sportsman wearing a commercial underwear (Skins A400).

All the parameters (athlete's diet, sampling schedules, nature and duration of physical activity) are strictly the same from one series of analysis to another.

The table below shows the relative variations between the first and third samples of four indicators of muscular fatigue over the four series of analyzes previously described.

Such an embodiment is however likely to bring less comfort to the user than the undergarment 5 illustrated by the Figures 1 and 2 and described previously.

According to another embodiment of an undergarment according to the invention (not shown), one end of a sleeve-shaped yoke, and comprising the second textile 40, is attached and fixed, for example sewn, to a lower edge 65 of each leg 37 of the boxer 15 to delimit an inner opening clean to allow the passage of an athlete's leg 10 through the leg 37 of the boxer 15 and through the sleeve-shaped yoke.
