Description

    TECHNICAL FIELD
  • The present invention relates to a press brake having an oiled deflection compensating mechanism.
  • PRIOR ART
  • In production plants, press brakes are utilized for the bending process applied onto the sheet plate. One of the frequently faced problems during the bending process is that the sheet plate, placed between the lower and upper molds of the press brake, is bending and thus, the upper mold does not seat completely inside the lower mold. Because of said problem, there are problems like deformation in the sheet plate. In order to provide a solution to this problem, different systems are adapted to said press brakes, and the surfaces where the sheet plate is fixed are deflected and thus, bending is provided as a result of the full contact of the molds to sheet plate surfaces.
  • Utilizing the system used in present press brakes and using the systems disclosed in the utility model application 2007/07279 , in order to provide a solution to said problem, deflection is realized to the surfaces, whereto the sheet plate is fixed, by means of the drive obtained from a hydraulic drive mechanism. All of said systems are adapted to the external sides of said press brakes. However, it is seen during the usage that in systems comprising three or more machines, since the present deflection compensating systems are adapted to the external side of each machine, another problem occurs. The deflection compensating system cannot be adapted to the machine existing in between. Particularly since deformation is observed in the parts which correspond to the intermediate regions of the sheet plate, and since deflection compensation process cannot be realized in the machine existing in the middle, inferior products are continued to be produced during production.
  • In order to provide a solution to the abovementioned problems, a press brake is improved having an embedded hydraulic deflection compensating mechanism with a hydraulic drive mechanism described in the patent application 2011/12617 . The press brake described in 2011/12617 relates to a press brake having wedges forming ridging by being positioned between the bottom plate and bottom plate top in order to eliminate the deflection formed on the bottom plate and thus on the sheet plate during bending in systems where three or more press brakes are positioned side by side. Said press brake is characterized by comprising a hydraulic drive mechanism providing the required drive for providing ridging said wedges; and a drive housing where said drive mechanism is positioned in an embedded manner. As in the other applications, in said press brake, there is a friction between the wedges and thus, the press brake is subject to maintenance and oiled again at certain periods for decreasing said friction. Because of said process, the system stops and maintenance cost occurs.
As a result, because of the abovementioned problems, an improvement is required in the related technical field.
  • Document DE 10 2007 033 199 B3 describes a press brake according to the preamble of claim 1.

Accordingly, said press brake comprises a pool wherein sufficient amount of oil is provided and wherein said wedges are positioned. According to the invention, said pool comprises a pool channel provided by realizing cut-out on the bottom plate from end to end; and a first lid and a second lid covering the two ends of said pool channel so as to prevent oil output.
  • In a preferred embodiment of the subject matter invention, said first lid, provided on one side of the pool channel, comprises at least one sealing member, preventing oil output from the pool, on the surface thereof connected to the bottom plate; and at least one channel said sealing member is positioned thereon.
  • In another preferred embodiment of the subject matter invention, the first lid comprises at least one arm hole through which the cylinder arm is passing which drives at least one of the wedges.
In another preferred embodiment of the subject matter invention, the first lid comprises at least one assembly hole for the assembly of the bottom plate.
In another preferred embodiment of the subject matter invention, on the surface of said second lid connected to the bottom plate, there is at least one sealing member preventing oil output from the pool; and at least one channel said sealing member is positioned thereto.
In another preferred embodiment of the subject matter invention, the second lid comprises at least one assembly hole for the assembly of the bottom plate.
In another preferred embodiment of the subject matter invention, at least one of the lids comprises at least one oil hole providing oil input to the pool and oil output from the pool.
In another preferred embodiment of the subject matter invention, the pool is provided such that pluralities of bottom wedges and upper wedges are positioned on the bottom plate.
In another preferred embodiment of the subject matter invention, there is at least one wall separating the wedge pairs from each other when there are pluralities of bottom wedges and upper wedges.
  • In an example not according to the invention, the pool is provided by realizing a cut-out in a closed pouch form so as not to permit oil output on the bottom plate. THE DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • In this detailed description, the subject matter press brake (10) having oiled deflection compensating mechanism is explained with references to examples without forming any restrictive effect in order to make the subject more understandable.
  • Said press brake (10) is a bench utilized for bending sheet materials and has a deflection compensating mechanism for eliminating the deflection formed on the bottom plate and thus on the sheet plate during bending of the sheet plates. As can be seen in Figure 1, the press brake (10) comprises a bottom plate (12); an upper plate (11); at least one bottom wedge (14) provided on said bottom plate (12); and at least one upper wedge (15) forming a ridge on the bottom plate (12) provided thereon by moving on said bottom wedge (14) as a result of the movement applied by a drive mechanism (40). As can be seen in Figure 2, the upper surface (141) of the bottom wedge (14) and correspondingly the bottom surface (151) of the upper wedge (15) are provided in a saw tooth like form. By means of said toothed structure, the upper wedge (15) rises on the bottom wedge (14) as a result of the movement received from said drive mechanism (40) and forms a ridge on the bottom plate (13). The form change, formed on the bottom plate (13), is also transferred to the mold (16) provided thereon. By means of the potentiometer positioned in connection to the hydraulic cylinder (41) provided on the drive mechanism (40), the amount of ridging, occurring as a result of the movement of the upper wedge (15), can be controlled. In the system described, the bottom wedge (14) and the upper wedge (15) are placed into at least one pool (17) provided on the bottom plate (12) for performing oiling between the bottom surface (151) and the upper surface (141). Said pool (17) comprises a pool channel (171) provided on the bottom plate (12); and a first lid (20) and a second lid (30) provided at both ends of the pool channel (171) preventing oil output from said pool channel (171). On said first lid's (20) face which is to be connected to the bottom plate (12), where the first lid (20) is provided on the drive mechanism (40) side, there is a channel (21) and there is a sealing member (22) inside said channel (21). Moreover, on the first lid (20), there is an arm hole (25) through which a cylinder arm of said hydraulic cylinder (41) will pass; at least one assembly hole (23) for the assembly of the first lid (20) to the bottom plate (12); and at least one oil hole (24) through which oil is added into or removed from the system. On said second lid (30) positioned on the other side of the pool (17), there is a channel (31) on the face to be connected to the bottom plate (12); and a sealing member (32) inside said channel (31); and at least one assembly hole (33) for the assembly of the second lid (30) to the bottom plate (12).
  • In said press brake bench, in the pool covered by the first lid and the second lid, during the movement described by filling oil to the pool, a continuous oil input is realized between the bottom surface and the upper surface.
  • In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the lids (20, 30) may be fixed to the bottom plate (12) instead of the sealing member (32) for preventing oil leakage.
  • In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, an indicator may be added to at least one of the lids for controlling the oil level.
  • In an example not according to the invention, a pouch can be provided on the bottom plate so as not to permit oil leakage from the pool. This method is a more difficult method in terms of production technique.
The protection scope of the present invention is set forth in the annexed Claims and cannot be restricted to the illustrative disclosures given above, under the detailed description. It is because a person skilled in the relevant art can obviously produce similar embodiments under the light of the foregoing disclosures, without departing from the scope of the present invention as claimed.
