Abstract

The invention relates to a glass holder (15) for holding a stem glass (16) for a dish rack (1) of a dishwasher (2), wherein the glass holder (15) has a chandelier support (20) for carrying a chalice (17) of the stem glass (16). which is adapted to touch the cup (17) at only one point (P 1).

Description

The present invention relates to a glass holder for a dish rack of a dishwasher, a dish rack for a dishwasher and a dishwasher.

Stemware, such as wine glasses, can be placed in a dish rack of a dishwasher for rinsing. In order to ensure a secure state of the stemware glasses, in particular of stemmed glasses of different stem length, insertable glass holders can be inserted into the dishware basket.

The EP 2 353 488 D1 describes such a glass holder for a dish rack of a dishwasher. This glass holder has a cup holder which carries a cup of a stem glass to be washed. The cup holder is frusto-conical and has three ribs. The chalice rests on each of the ribs. The cup holder thus touches the cup at three points.

Against this background, an object of the present invention is to provide an improved glass holder for a dish rack of a dishwasher.

Accordingly, a glass holder for holding a stem glass for a dish rack of a dishwasher is proposed, wherein the glass holder has a chalice support for supporting a cup of the stem glass. The goblet is set up to touch the goblet at just one point.

Due to the fact that the goblet touches the goblet pointwise at only one point of contact, water located on the goblet is only diverted from the goblet at this point of contact. The formation of water spots on the goblet during evaporation of the water is thereby prevented or reduced to a minimum. The goblet preferably contacts the goblet at a lowest point thereof. The handle holder 31 may, like the FIG. 6 shows, have a drip 36. The drop trigger 36 of the handle holder 31 is adapted to drain a drop of water from an edge r _{2 of} the foot 18 of the stem glass 16. The droplet discharge 36 of the handle holder 31 preferably has a triangular cross-section, analogous to the droplet withdrawal 21 of the cup carrier 20. The drop trigger 36 of the handle holder 31 preferably contacts the edge r _{2 of} the foot 18 at only one point P ₄ . The droplet trigger 36 of the handle holder 31 is preferably made in one piece with the sliding sleeve 32.
