Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de vidange d'une enceinte d'engin spatial contenant une composition gazeuse sous une pression P1 supérieure à celle P2 régnant dans un environnement extérieur à l'engin spatial dans l'Espace, l'enceinte étant reliée à cet environnement extérieur de l'Espace par au moins une conduite (14) d'évacuation. La composition gazeuse circulant dans chaque conduite (14) d'évacuation traverse au moins un dispositif (20, 21) de détente initiale présentant au moins un étranglement de section à la sortie duquel la pression de la composition gazeuse se trouve à une troisième valeur Pi intermédiaire entre la première pression P1 dans l'enceinte et la deuxième pression P2 de l'environnement extérieur.
