  1. Fastener for a wristlet,

    a pivot arm (20) to which the wristlet (1) is fastenable and which has a fastener head (30), the pivot arm being hinged to the base portion and the fastener head having a locking mechanism for selectively locking and releasing the pin, wherein
    the fastener end (10a) of the base portion (10) has a through opening (14) through which a portion of the wristlet (1) can be passed such that the pin (15) can extend through the wristlet (1) and can be locked by means of the locking mechanism.
  2. Fastener according to claim 1, wherein the fastener head (30) is rigidly connected to the pivot arm (20).
  3. Fastener according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the fastener end (10a) is provided with a transversal plate (13) to which the pin (15) is fixed.
  4. Fastener according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the fastener end (10a) has inwardly extending projections (16a, 16b) so as to encompass the wristlet (1) at least partly.
  5. Fastener according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the base portion (10) has two mutually spaced legs (11a, 11b) in the space between which a plate (20) of the pivot arm can be received and/or which are connected to each other by a cross piece (12).
  6. Fastener according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the locking mechanism comprises two push buttons (40a, 40b) that are preferably pretensioned by means of springs (35a, 35b) and/or are preferably displaceable substantially parallel to the axis about which the pivot arm (20) is pivotable.
  7. Fastener according to claim 6, wherein the two push buttons (40a, 40b) comprise each a locking wall (45a, 45b), which is provided with a bevelled surface (46a, 46b) in the insertion direction of the pin (15).
  8. Fastener according to one of claims 6 to 7, wherein the two push buttons (40a, 40b) are substantially equally shaped and are arranged in positions rotated by 180 degrees relative to each other.
  9. Fastener according to one of claims 6 to 8, wherein the fastener head (30) comprises a fastener cover (50) and a fastener housing (31) and the push buttons (40a, 40b) extend out through slots (53a, 53b) formed in the fastener cover.
  10. Fastener according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the pin (15) has a base body (15b) followed by a head (15d, 15f), the head (15d, 15f) preferably being mushroom-shaped and/or the junction of the base body to the head (15d, 15f) having preferably a tapering shape (15c).
  11. Wristlet comprising a fastener according to one of the preceding claims.
  12. Wristwatch comprising a wristlet according to claim 11.
