All of these objects are achieved by a toilet seat cover combination, which has the characterizing features of claim 1. The inventively designed toilet cover surrounds the seat ring in the manner of a so-called "wrap-over" design. It is also of particular importance that the user does not have to search for recessed grips or gripping protrusions, since the cover can be lifted easily at virtually any point of the peripheral edge.

From an ergonomic point of view, it is particularly advantageous if the depth of the handle edge is in the range of about 10 mm to about 20 mm.

For better handling of the handle edge, at least the bottom thereof may be additionally angled downwards. As a result, a kind of recessed grip is formed on the underside of the handle edge, which extends over the entire length of the handle edge. Above all, this gives the advantage that even with only partially raised lid there is no risk that the user's fingers slip off the handle edge and the lid falls back into the closed position.

From this point of view, it is advantageous if the angle between the cover upper or lower side of the lid and the underside of the handle edge is between 10 ° to 30 °, in particular between about 20 ° to 25 °.

In addition or alternatively, it may also be advantageous to form the lower peripheral edge of the handle edge angular, in particular approximately rectangular. This also increases the grip when lifting the lid.

With sufficient depth of the handle edge, it may be sufficient for design reasons, however, that the peripheral edge of the handle edge is rounded in cross section, in particular approximately semicircular.
