Claims (6)
- An electrical switch (1) having a carrier and a contact system (4), which is arranged on the carrier and has fixed contact elements (10) and a mechanically monostable switching contact element (20) in the form of a snap dome, with which the snap dome (20) can be brought from a stable rest position into a switching position by elastic deformation of the snap dome, the fixed contact elements (10) being galvanically isolated from each other in the rest position and the fixed contact elements (10) being electrically connected to each other via the snap dome (20) in the switching position,
a deformable cover being provided, which fixes at least the snap dome in its position in relation to the carrier and is brought into a contact connection with both the carrier and the snap dome for this purpose,
the cover being arranged and adhesively bonded to the carrier around the snap dome in such a manner that, in addition to fixing the switching contact element, it encloses the switching contact element such that it is sealed off from the carrier,
the cover being formed from a water-tight and self-adhesive material,
characterised in that
the cover is adhesively bonded to the snap dome in the extension region of the snap dome,

- The switch according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the carrier has recesses for positioning the fixed contact elements and the switching contact element.
- The switch according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the cover has a multi-part configuration and overlapping connecting regions of the cover are adhesively bonded to each other.
- The switch according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the carrier is accommodated together with the contact system in a housing.
- The switch according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the cover together with the switching contact element adhesively bonded thereon forms an assembly, so that the attachment of the cover positions and fixes the switching contact element at the same time.
