Definitions
- the invention relates to a sweeping device according to the features cited in the preamble of claim 1.
- AT 395 875 is already such a sweeping device known, which consists of three separate, juxtaposed in the transverse direction of the track and individually lowered to the track sweeping brushes.
- the axes of rotation of the two outer sweeping brushes are adjustable at an angle to the axis of rotation of the track sweeping brush or to the track surface, so that the sweeping device is adjustable to differently shaped sleeper shapes and thus to different, resulting track cross sections.
- the object of the present invention is now to provide a sweeping device of the type mentioned above, which offers improved application possibilities while at the same time saving work and time.
- Such a sweeping device now makes it possible in a simple manner to adjust the sweeping brush designed according to the invention rapidly to different conditions occurring in the field of use - in particular to different types of sleepers.
- the sweeping brush can be adjusted quickly and easily so that an optimal work performance can be achieved.
- the sweeping brush can also be advantageously used if (for example in the case of high-speed railroads) a so-called deep sweep is required, in which the ballast in the middle of the sleeper compartments is to be swept deeper than the threshold surface.
- Another particular advantage of the embodiment of the invention lies in the fact that - due to the given optimal possibilities for adjusting the sweeping brush - a previously required labor-consuming and time-consuming replacement of specially designed for various application conditions brushes now no longer necessary.
- a machine 1 which serves as a ballast leveling machine for sweeping a track 4 formed from rails 2 and sleepers 3 and can be moved on it via rail carriages 5.
- a driving and working cab 7 On a machine frame 6, a driving and working cab 7, a drive unit 8 and lowerable work units in the form of plows 9 and a ballast sweeper 10 are arranged, which will now be described in more detail below.
- a brush box 12 in which - with respect to a track transverse direction 14 side by side - two sweeping brushes 13 are mounted, each extending over a longitudinal half of the threshold 3 above this to about the Extending track center.
- Each sweeping brush 13 consists of a brush shaft 15 which is equipped with sweeping elements 16 protruding radially therefrom (eg elastic hoses) and which is rotatable by means of a drive 17 about an axis of rotation 18 extending substantially in the transverse direction 14 of the track.
- the brush shafts 15 are formed as hollow shafts 19, in the interior of which a common control shaft 20 extends. Their longitudinal axis 21 is aligned in the transverse direction of the track 14 parallel to a - defined by the thresholds 3 - track plane 22, wherein the diameter d of the control shaft 22 is approximately half as large as the inner diameter D of the hollow shaft 19.
- a bearing 23 is provided in each case.
- each brush shaft 15 consists of two sections 24, 25, which are connected by means of an elastic coupling 26 Kardangelenksartig together.
- each of the outer, further away from the track center section 24 is arranged concentrically to the control shaft 20, while the track center adjacent portion 25 is mounted on the bearing 23, which is positioned approximately in the longitudinal center of the section 25.
- the control shaft 20 is eccentrically formed in the region of the bearing 23 and at the same time by means of an adjusting drive 27 rotatable about its longitudinal axis 21, said rotation also manually without the aid of a Drive could be done.
- those in the Fig. 3 to 5 shown different settings with respect to the vertical position of the control shaft 20 are made relative to the hollow shaft 19, each resulting from a rotation of the control shaft 20 by about 90 ° or 180 °.
- Fig. 3 is the (in Fig. 2 III position indicated) corresponding position of the sweeping brush 13 for turning a track with wooden sleepers shown.
- the brush shafts 15 are so far elevated in their section 25 in the track center area that the ends of the sweeping elements 16 extend just to the continuous flat surface of the (not shown) thresholds to this turn away.
- This adjustment is achieved in that the control shaft 20 is rotated by the drive 27 or manually so far about its longitudinal axis 21, that the eccentric bearing at the bearing 23 causes a vertical pivoting of the portion 25 to the elastic coupling 26.
- Fig. 4 (according to the position IV in Fig. 2 ) represents the situation when working in a track with concrete sleepers eg of the type B70, whose Surface is lower in the track area than at the outer ends of the thresholds.
- the sweeping elements 16 must be able to reach downwards more evenly in order to get rid of the ballast from the threshold surfaces, as well as in Fig. 2 becomes clear.
- the adjustment of the position of control shaft 20 and brush shaft 15 to each other is analogous as described above.
- Fig. 5 (corresponding to position V in Fig. 2 ) for use, as here a Schottermony below the surface of the thresholds 3 is desired and therefore the threshold subjects between the sleepers in the central region of the track 4 are to be correspondingly lower.
- Fig. 6 shows an alternative variant of a sweeping device 10 with a likewise divided into different sections sweeping brush 13, these sections (as well as in all other variants) are all housed within a single brush box 12.
- an inner brush shaft 28 is provided, which is also equipped with sweeping elements 16, wherein these are arranged in the track center area, in which the two lateral portions 24 are distanced from each other.
- the inner brush shaft 28 is mounted vertically adjustable to the track center area the Kehretti 16 - depending on the need or threshold type - to be able to lower and reach the desired sweeping depth.
- the brush shaft 15 consists of four sections 24, 25, wherein the two central portions 25 are guided in the region of the central axis of the track 4 by means of a central bearing 29. This is in turn mounted vertically adjustable on the brush box 12 and vertically adjustable from the outside.
- the central portions 25 are each movably connected to the two lateral portions 24 by means of an elastic coupling 26 (or a universal joint). As a result, the sweeping elements 16 in the track center area can be adjusted to the required sweeping depth as needed.
- FIG. 8 a solution in which in the central portion 30 of the brush shaft 15 is connected to the two lateral sections 24 via bearings 31 and gear 32, the latter being designed so adjustable that the central portion 30 controlled from outside the brush box 12 at different altitudes against the Surface of the threshold 3 can be brought.
- This embodiment has the additional advantage that all three sections 24, 30 of the brush shaft 15 can be driven together by means of the gear 32.

The object of the present invention is now to provide a sweeping device of the type mentioned above, which offers improved application possibilities while at the same time saving work and time.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß mit einer Kehrvorrichtung der gattungsgemäßen Art durch die im Hauptanspruch angeführten Merkmale gelöst.This object is achieved with a sweeping device of the generic type by the features stated in the main claim.
Such a sweeping device now makes it possible in a simple manner to adjust the sweeping brush designed according to the invention rapidly to different conditions occurring in the field of use - in particular to different types of sleepers. Depending on whether wooden sleepers with a continuous flat surface or concrete sleepers with partially beveled surfaces are to be processed in the track, the sweeping brush can be adjusted quickly and easily so that an optimal work performance can be achieved. In addition, however, the sweeping brush can also be advantageously used if (for example in the case of high-speed railroads) a so-called deep sweep is required, in which the ballast in the middle of the sleeper compartments is to be swept deeper than the threshold surface. Another particular advantage of the embodiment of the invention lies in the fact that - due to the given optimal possibilities for adjusting the sweeping brush - a previously required labor-consuming and time-consuming replacement of specially designed for various application conditions brushes now no longer necessary.
