Claims (10)
- A shower assembly, characterized in that it comprises:- a connecting base (3) having a hollow body (30), and- a shower pole (2) having an end part (21), called pole foot, which is able to be inserted into the hollow body (30) of the base (3) through an opening of said hollow body, characterized by the hollow body (30) housing a male hydraulic quick connector tip (4), said base (3) also comprising a hydraulic connector (5) that cooperates on the one hand with the male tip (4) of the hydraulic quick connector and on the other hand is able to be connected to a hydraulic supply network,said pole foot (21) including a female hydraulic quick connector tip (6) that comprises a tube (61) on the one hand communicating with a hydraulic conduit (26) extending inside the shower pole (2) and which, on the other hand, can be connected to the male tip (4) of the connecting base (3), the female hydraulic quick connector tip (6) also comprising a locking/unlocking ring (62) mounted sliding on said tube (61) of the female tip (6) between an unlocked position, in which the male tip (4) can be inserted in or separated relative to the tube (61) of the female tip (6), and a locked position, in which the male tip (4), in the state of said male tip (4) inserted in the tube (61) of the female tip (6), is locked relative to the female tip (6),
said shower pole (2) also comprising a control ring (7) mounted secured in movement with the locking/unlocking ring (62), said control ring (7) extending around said female tip (6) to conceal said female tip, said control ring (7) being accessible from outside the shower pole and movable along its axis to drive the locking/unlocking ring (62) in order to command the locking or unlocking of the female tip (6) relative to the male tip (4). - The assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the shower pole (2) comprises a tube (20) in which said hydraulic conduit (26) extends,
and in that the control ring (7) extends around said tube (20) of the shower pole (2). - The assembly according to claim 2, characterized in that the control ring (7) is mounted sliding on the tube (20) of the shower pole (2) between a locked position, in which the female tip (6) is locked relative to the male tip, and an unlocked position, in which the female tip (6) is unlocked relative to the male tip, said control ring (7) being in the unlocked position closer to the end of the pole, called the pole head, opposite the pole foot, then in the locked position.
- The assembly according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, in the state of the pole foot (21) fitted in the base (3), the control ring (7) extends over part of its height in the base (3), the rest of the height of the control ring (7) extending protruding from the base (3) to be able to be grasped and moved by an operator.
- The assembly according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the hollow body (30) of said base (3) is equipped with a cover (33) movable between a closed position, in which it closes off access to the inside of said base (3), and an open position in which it frees that access.
- The assembly according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the hollow body (30) of the connecting base (3) also houses an additional male hydraulic quick connector tip (4), and said connecting base (3) comprises an additional hydraulic supply connector (5), on the one hand communicating with the additional male tip (4) and on the other hand connectable to the hydraulic supply network,
and in that said pole foot (21) also includes an additional female hydraulic quick connector tip (6) that comprises an additional tube (61) on the one hand communicating with an additional hydraulic conduit (26) extending inside the shower pole (2), and which on the other hand is lockably connectable to the additional male tip (4) of the connecting base (3), the additional female hydraulic quick connector tip (6) also comprising an additional locking/unlocking ring (62) mounted sliding on said tube (61) of the additional female tip (6) between an unlocked position, in which the male tip can be inserted into or separated relative to the tube (61) of the additional female tip (6), and a locked position, in which the additional male tip (4), in the state of said additional male tip (4) inserted into the tube (61) of the additional female tip (6), is locked relative to the additional female tip (6), said control ring (7) being mounted secured in movement with the locking/unlocking ring (62) of each female tip (6), said control ring extending around the female tips to conceal said female tips, said control ring being accessible from outside the shower pole and movable along its axis to drive each locking ring (62) for locking/unlocking so as to command the locking or unlocking of each female tip (6) relative to the corresponding male tip (4). - The assembly according to claim 6, characterized in that the shower pole (2) is provided with a mixing valve, preferably thermostatic, connected to the two hydraulic conduits (26) of the shower pole (2).
- The assembly according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the connecting base (3) comprises fastening means (32) for fastening to a support.
- A method for connecting a shower pole (2) to a connecting base (3) of a shower assembly according to one of the preceding claims,
characterized in that said method comprises the following steps:- connecting the or each hydraulic supply connector (5) of the base (3) to the hydraulic supply network, and fastening said base (3) to a support, such as a floor;- inserting the shower pole foot (21) inside the connecting base (3) so that the or each male tip (4) of the base (3) engages in the corresponding female tip (6) of the pole foot (21) as far as a locked position. - A method for disconnecting a shower pole (2) relative to the connecting base (3) of a shower assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 8,
characterized in that said method comprises the following steps:- moving the control ring (7) of the shower pole (2) to bring the outer ring (62) of the female tip (6) of the quick connector into the unlocked position;- raising the shower pole (2) relative to the connecting base (3) to separate the or each male tip (4) of the base (3) from the corresponding female tip (6) of the pole foot (21).
