Definitions
- the present invention relates to a power supply method of the induction means.
- It also relates to a power supply device adapted to implement the power supply method, and an induction cooking appliance adapted to integrate such a device.
- the present invention relates more particularly to the power supply of the induction means of an induction cooking appliance.
- each zone or cooking zone is associated with induction means.
- the operation of each cooking zone is controlled by a power element integrated in an inverter supply device.
- inverter power supply device is also described in the document WO 2007/042315 in which induction means integrated in a resonant circuit are fed from an inverter supply device comprising a switch, of the type of a voltage-controlled transistor, known under the name IGBT (acronym of the English term " Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor ", connected in series with the resonant circuit.
- IGBT Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor
- Such an inverter supply device operates at a switching frequency of the switch. By changing the switching frequency or working frequency of the inverter supply device, it is possible to adjust the instantaneous power delivered by the induction means to a cooking vessel disposed on a cooking zone.
- the supply device powers the induction means from the rectified mains voltage by means of a rectifying circuit.
- the induction means form part with the receptacle disposed on the cooking zone of a resonant circuit and that when the resonant frequency of this resonant circuit is equal to the frequency of working of the supply device, the current flowing through the resonant circuit is maximum.
- the switching frequency of the switch or operating frequency of the inverter supply device is within an optimum operating range which is related to the operation of the switch.
- the optimum operating range is thus defined between a minimum frequency corresponding to a maximum instantaneous power and a maximum frequency corresponding to a minimum instantaneous power.
- the optimum frequency range is predetermined according to the parameters of the assembly formed by the induction means and the supply device.
- the supply device When a user of the cooking appliance requests an instantaneous power, or nominal power, which is between the minimum instantaneous power and the maximum instantaneous power, the supply device operates in a continuous mode over a predetermined period called a program period. .
- the program period corresponds to a period during which the power demanded by the user or the target power is restored.
- This program period is predetermined in a manner known to those skilled in the art, in particular to comply with the EN-61000-3-3 standard on the electrical network (Flicker standard) setting a maximum number of authorized power variations in a minute.
- a program period includes several alternating power grid periods.
- the inverter supply device When the induction means must deliver a nominal power lower than the minimum instantaneous power, the inverter supply device operates in cut mode, that is to say that the power supply is cut in time.
- the inverter supply device operates at the maximum frequency of continuous operation (frequency corresponding substantially to the frequency maximum of the optimum frequency range) during an interval of the program period.
- the inverter supply device operates at a working frequency corresponding to the minimum instantaneous power, and during the remaining time of the program period, the inverter supply device does not operate. .
- the minimum instantaneous power has a value of 500 W and the instantaneous power to be delivered in the induction means is 100 W
- this instantaneous power of 100 W is restored by controlling the operation of the device in a maximum operating frequency so that the induction means deliver the minimum instantaneous power for an interval of 200 ms every second (the program time being in this example of one second).
- This noise has a variable intensity depending in particular on the size, the material and the contents of the container, the parameters of the inductor (for example the size) and the value of the reconstituted power, and can be inconvenient for a user. an apparatus comprising such an inverter supply device.
- the object of the present invention is to propose a method for controlling the induction means, making it possible to reduce, or even eliminate, the noise generated in a receptacle disposed on a cooking zone.
- the present invention relates to a power supply method of the induction means, the induction means being associated with a cooking zone and being supplied to power values respectively by a power supply device.
- inverter having switching means operating at a working frequency, in continuous mode when the target power value is greater than or equal to a minimum instantaneous power, and in the cut-off mode when the target power value is less than said power instantaneous minimum, said minimum instantaneous power corresponding to a maximum continuous operating frequency.

- the current flowing in the container is lower than the current delivered when the switching means operate at a working frequency lower than the maximum continuous operating frequency.
- the operation of the inverter supply device does not generate noise or at least generates a noise of low intensity and is not a nuisance for a user of the cooking appliance.
- the switching means are operated for a predefined period of time at a starting frequency higher than the maximum continuous operating frequency when operating in cut mode.
- the inverter supply device is capable of applying a mains voltage to the induction means, the predefined duration representing the time elapsed between a first instant from which the switching means are put into operation at a time. starting frequency and a second time from which switching means are operated at the working frequency substantially equal to the maximum continuous operating frequency.
- the mains voltage is substantially zero.
- the mains voltage is substantially zero.
- the switching means are operated at the start frequency when the mains voltage has its peak value.
- the mains voltage has its peak value.
- the mains voltage changes between its peak value and a substantially zero value for the predetermined duration defined by the first instant (from which the switching means are operated at the start frequency) and the second instant (at from which the switching means are operated at the working frequency).
- the switching means are operated at a starting frequency higher than the maximum continuous operating frequency at the beginning of each program period of the supply device in which the instantaneous power delivered by the induction means is restored.
- the present invention relates to a power supply device supplying power to setpoint power values for the induction means and comprising switching means operating at a working frequency in continuous mode when the value of setpoint power is greater than or equal to a minimum instantaneous power, and in cut mode when the target power value is lower than said minimum instantaneous power, said minimum instantaneous power corresponding to a maximum continuous operating frequency.
