In this press screw separator, the screw arrangement is driven, while the screen basket - at least during operation - is fixed. Since the outside of the screen basket must be cleaned at regular intervals, wash nozzles are provided. During cleaning, however, the washing nozzles are not moved around the screen basket, but the screen basket is rotated past the washing nozzles. This requires an increased expenditure on equipment, since in operation the screw arrangement must be driven and at the same time care must be taken for the purpose of cleaning for a rotation of the screen basket.
According to the invention this object is achieved by a press screw separator with the features of
As a result of this configuration, the expenditure on equipment for the press screw separator can be significantly reduced, since the drive for the screw arrangement is completely eliminated and only a single drive is required, which drives the screen basket during operation and at the same time can move past the screen basket at the washing nozzles during cleaning , Furthermore, in the often necessary cleaning of the outside of the screen basket with the washing nozzles, the operation of the press screw separator also no longer needs to be interrupted and the machine can pass continuously.
Die Unteransprüche haben vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen der Erfindung zum Inhalt. The dependent claims have advantageous developments of the invention to the content.
According to a preferred embodiment, the drive is arranged on an end region of the screen basket. This simplifies the overall structure of the press screw separator and also facilitates maintenance work on the drive. In addition, no seal is required by the overhead drive, which must seal the liquid-filled product space against the drive or the transmission.
The drive can advantageously be designed so that at the end region of the screen basket, a sprocket is arranged, which meshes with a pinion of the drive.
Alternatively, the drive can drive the screen basket via a belt or chain drive.
Preferably, the drive comprises a reduction gear in order to adjust the rotational speed of the output shaft of the drive to a suitable level in predetermined stages or continuously.
According to an advantageous development, the screw arrangement and thus also the entire press screw separator is vertically aligned. This creates a material promotion against the gravitational effect and contributes to an improved drainage of the pulp.
In a vertical orientation of the press screw separator, the drive is advantageously arranged at the upper edge of the screen basket, whereby it is easily accessible, for example, for maintenance and repair work.
Alternatively, the screw arrangement and thus the entire press screw separator can also be aligned horizontally. A tilted to a vertical orientation is also conceivable.
According to the invention, the solids outlet is arranged in the interior of the screw arrangement formed as a hollow cylinder and optionally formed as a funnel. This allows in the simplest way the discharge of the solid from the press screw separator according to the invention.
The feed for the slurry is advantageously aligned tangentially to the press screw separator. This creates a particularly streamlined entry of the pulp in the press screw separator.
The clear flow for the aqueous components of the pulp is advantageously aligned radially to the press screw separator in order to ensure a streamlined flow of the aqueous constituents.
According to a preferred development, the press screw separator has a cup-shaped base part.
The press screw separator is advantageously provided with a discharge regulator.
The ejection controller preferably consists of at least one press cylinder.
Alternatively, the discharge regulator may also have at least one weight.
In order to be able to clean the strainer basket in a simple manner, according to a preferred embodiment, washing nozzles are arranged. These are advantageously arranged substantially in a row and extend substantially over the entire length of the screen basket.
Advantageously, a seal is provided between the screw arrangement and the screen basket, which can be pressed hydraulically or pneumatically on the screen basket. This has the advantage over a permanently pressed seal that wear of the seal in the operating state can be constantly compensated. In addition, the assembly is simplified because the screw assembly does not have to be used with force against a constantly biased seal, but the assembly can be done without pressure-loaded seal.
Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the screw arrangement (also known as press screw) winds a screw core and at least one screw spiral which winds around the screw core from a beginning of the screw conveyor designed to introduce the slurry to a plug section of the screw conveyor designed to form the solid plug.
Furthermore, it is preferably provided that several helical spirals wind around the helical soul.
Furthermore, it is advantageously provided that the screw soul projects beyond the screw flights at the plug region. Thus, a component of the press screw is provided in the plug region, which is formed only by the screw soul, but not by the screw flights. In this area, an annular Feststoffpfropfen forms.
When using the screw press in slurries with fibrous solids, which tend to blockage between the coils, a continuous slope of the same is provided.
So far, it has been assumed that the pressing force of the press screw for advancing the plug depends primarily on the geometry of the arranged screw flights. From the operating experience with press screw separators it has now been determined that the pressed solid is discharged at a much lower velocity than the theoretical speed would suggest. The theoretical speed results, for example, from the model idea of a nut which sits on the press screw and is moved through the rotating screen basket. In an exemplary pitch of each screw helix of 220 mm and at a rotational speed of 30 rpm, this theoretical speed corresponds to 6,600 mm / min or 110 mm / sec. However, the maximum measured rate of graft discharge was measured at 10 mm / sec. The mean actual speed was 1 mm / sec. This means that the actual grafting speed is opposite to the theoretical one Speed takes place in about a ratio of 1:10 to 1: 100. As with a wiper, the rotation of the screen basket creates a thin layer of solids one by one against the plug. It has been found that the contact pressure results less from the geometry of the screw flights, but rather from the geometry at the ends of the screw flights. Thus, the end of the screw flight (or of the several screw flights) at the plug region, ie at the end of the screw flights, is formed as a plug pressing surface. In order to enable effective, layered application of the solid to the plug, this plug pressing surface has a pitch angle of less than 10 °, in particular less than 8 °, in particular less than 4 °. Particularly preferably, the lower limit of the pitch angle at the Pfropfenpressfläche at 0 °, in particular 1 °. The plug pressing surface faces the end of the pressing screw or the plug region.
The pitch angle is, as in a thread, defined as the angle between the helix and a perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the helical soul.
Furthermore, it is advantageous that the Pfropfenpressfläche wear-resistant, in particular harder than the rest of the screw helix is formed. Particularly preferably, the plug pressing surface is hardened and / or an additional, wear-resistant material is applied to the plug pressing surface.
When using the screw press in slurries without fibrous components, in which a clogging between the coils is excluded, a discontinuous pitch of the screw flights is preferably used. In this case, the pitch of the screw flights in the inlet region begins primarily at an angle of 15 degrees to the vertical on the screw axis and narrows to the end of the screw flights at the beginning of the region of the plug.
In particular, the screw soul protrudes by at least a length, in particular by at least two lengths, the largest pitch of the screw helix. The pitch of a helix is, just like a thread, defined as the height of a turn. This region of the screw core, which projects beyond the screw flights, is preferred during operation of the screw screw separator surrounded by a hollow cylindrical sieve. This area contributes significantly to the drainage of the plug. In particular, by the Pfropfenpressfläche an increased pressure is exerted on the plug, so that it comes to effective drainage.
It preferably comprises each of the screw flights one of the plug pressing surfaces just described.

With reference to the figures, the basic structure of a
The
The
The
At the top of the

On the

The operation of the press screw separator as described above is as follows:

The already partially dewatered material is conveyed by the
