A chaque pas de la roue de déclenchement 23 une dent déplace le premier bras 24.3 de la bascule de déclenchement 24 dans le sens horaire contre l'action de son ressort de rappel 25. Ce faisant, l'extrémité du second bras 24.4 de la bascule de déclenchement 24 pousse l'extension du crochet 20.5 de l'organe d'armage 20 (figure 8) de manière à ce que ce crochet 20.5 échappe à la dent 8.1 de la roue d'armage 8. Le marteau 3 commence sa chute en direction du timbre 1 (figure 9). L'extrémité 21.2 de la détente 21 est déplacée dans le sens anti-horaire par le moyeu du marteau 3 ce qui libère la roue d'armage, la palette 21.4 échappant à la dent 8.1, pendant que le marteau 3 est entraîné par son ressort d'entraînement 6 en direction du timbre (figure 10). Le marteau 3 frappe le timbre et la bascule de déclenchement échappe à la denture de la roue de déclenchement 23 et revient en appui contre sa butée 26 sous l'action de son ressort de rappel 25 (figure 11). Le marteau 3 rebondit dans le sens anti-horaire, ce mouvement s'éloignant du timbre est soutenu par l'action de la roue d'armage 8 coopérant avec l'organe d'armage 20 du marteau 3 : la roue d'armage 8 tourne en sens horaire et une de ses dents 8.1 rattrape le crochet 20.5 de l'organe d'armage 20 et tire le marteau dans le sens anti-horaire tout en armant son ressort d'entraînement 6 (figure 12). Un nouveau contact du bec de frappe 5 du marteau 3 avec le timbre 1 comme ceci risque de se produire dans les systèmes de sonnerie courants avec contre-ressort, est ainsi exclu jusqu'au prochain dégagement du système. La palette 21.4 de la détente 20 est repositionnée par l'entaille 22 du moyeu du marteau 3 sur la trajectoire des dents 8.1 de la roue d'armage. Une fois qu'une dent 8.1 de la roue d'armage 8 vient se poser sur la palette 21.4 de la détente 21, le mécanisme de sonnerie est à nouveau en position de repos, le marteau 3 étant éloigné du timbre et son ressort d'entraînement étant à nouveau armé (figure 7).

  • The triggering wheel 23 is driven by a PTO of the clockwork movement or by a triggering mechanism controlled by the clockwork movement of one or more steps. The hammer 3 begins its fall towards the stamp 1 ( figure 9 ). The end 21.2 of the trigger 21 is moved anticlockwise by the hub of the hammer 3 which releases the winding wheel, the pallet 21.4 escaping the tooth 8.1, while the hammer 3 is driven by its spring 6 in the direction of the stamp ( figure 10 ). The hammer 3 strikes the timbre and the trigger rocker escapes the toothing of the trigger wheel 23 and rests against its abutment 26 under the action of its return spring 25 ( figure 11 ). The hammer 3 bounces counter-clockwise, this movement away from the timbre is supported by the action of the winding wheel 8 cooperating with the armature member 20 of the hammer 3: the winding wheel 8 rotates clockwise and one of its teeth 8.1 catches the hook 20.5 of the armature member 20 and pulls the hammer counterclockwise while arming its drive spring 6 ( figure 12 ). A new contact of the hammer 5 hammer 3 with the stamp 1 as this may occur in the current ring systems with counter-spring, is excluded until the next release of the system. The pallet 21.4 of the trigger 20 is repositioned by the notch 22 of the hub of the hammer 3 on the path of the teeth 8.1 of the winding wheel. Once a tooth 8.1 of the winding wheel 8 comes to rest on the pallet 21.4 of the trigger 21, the striking mechanism is again in the rest position, the hammer 3 being away from the stamp and its spring training being armed again ( figure 7 ).
