Claims (8)
- Mechanische schaltbare Kühlmittelpumpe (10) für einen Verbrennungsmotor, mit:einem stationären Pumpenrahmen (12),einer drehbaren Pumpenradwelle (14) mit einem Pumpenrad (20) und einem ersten Kupplungsring (24), wobei die Pumpenradwelle (14) drehbar durch den Pumpenrahmen (12) gestützt ist,einer drehbaren Riemenscheibenanordnung (16), welche von dem Pumpenrahmen (12) unabhängig von der Pumpenradwelle (14) drehbar gestützt ist, wobei die Riemenscheibenanordnung (16) eine Riemenscheibe (30) und einen zweiten Kupplungsring (22) aufweist, wodurch die Riemenscheibe (30) durch den Verbrennungsmotor antreibbar ist,wobei die Pumpe dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass sie ferner aufweist:eine Kupplungsanordnung (18), welche den ersten Kupplungsring (24), den zweiten Kupplungsring (22), ein Vorspannelement (34), das einen Kupplungsring (22) axial in eine Eingriffsposition vorspannt, ein den vorgespannten Kupplungsring in eine gelöste Position drückendes Wachs-Druckelement (36), und ein elektrisches Heizelement (38), welches das Wachselement (36) erwärmt, wodurch die Kupplung in Eingriff ist, wenn die elektrische Heizung nicht arbeitet, und außer Eingriff ist, wenn die elektrische Heizung arbeitet.
- Mechanische schaltbare Kühlmittelpumpe (10) nach Anspruch 1, bei welcher das Wachselement (36) Teil der Riemenscheibenanordnung (16) ist und drehbar daran befestigt ist.
- Mechanische schaltbare Kühlmittelpumpe (10) nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, bei welcher das elektrische Heizelement (38) an dem Pumpenrahmen (12) befestigt ist.
- Mechanische schaltbare Kühlmittelpumpe (10) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, bei welcher das Vorspanelement (34) Teil der Riemenscheibenanordnung (16) ist.
- Mechanische schaltbare Kühlmittelpumpe (10) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, bei welcher die Riemenscheibenanordnung (16) unmittelbar von dem Pumpenrahmen (12) drehbar gestützt ist und die Pumpenradwelle (14) unmittelbar von der Riemenscheibenanordnung (16) drehbar gestützt ist,
- Mechanische schaltbare Kühlmittelpumpe (10) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, bei welcher die Schalttemperatur des Wachselements (36) höher als 120°C, vorzugsweise zwischen 140 und 200°C ist.
- Mechanische schaltbare Kühlmittelpumpe (10) nach Anspruch 4, bei welcher das Vorspannelement (34) eine Druckfeder ist.
- Mechanische schaltbare Kühlmittelpumpe (10) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, mit:einer Pumpensteuereinheit (40), wobei die Pumpensteuereinheit (40) das elektrische Heizelement (38) einschaltet, wenn die Kühlmitteltemperatur des Motors unter einem Grenzwert liegt, und das elektrische Heizelement abschaltet, wenn die Kühlmitteltemperatur über dem Grenzwert liegt.
