- Clause 73 The method of clause 71 , wherein the step of transmitting the at least one digital coupon to the third party retailer site further comprises the step of transmitting at least one applicable digital coupon, the at least one applicable digital coupon applicable to at least a subset of products associated with the virtual shopping cart, the at least one applicable digital coupon comprising at least one pair comprising a product identifier and a promotion applicable to the product identifier.
- Clause 74 The method of clause 73, wherein the promotion comprises at least one of a discount applicable to a purchase of a product associated with the product identifier.
- Clause 75 The method of clause 65, further comprising the steps of: receiving, in the at least one computing device, a plurality of product identifiers associated with products available via the third party retailer site; and transmitting, from the at least one computing device, at least one applicable digital coupon, the at least one applicable digital coupon being associated with at least one of the product identifiers.
- Clause 76 The method of clause 65, further comprising the step of validating, in the at least one computing device, whether a restriction associated with the at least one digital coupon allows the at least one digital coupon to be applied to at least one product associated with the virtual shopping cart.
- Clause 77 The method of clause 65, wherein the purchase confirmation associated with the purchase associated with the virtual shopping cart further comprises receiving a shipment confirmation associated with at least one product to which the subset of the at least one digital coupon is applied.
- Clause 78 The method of clause 65 , further comprising the steps of: calculating, in the at least one computing device, a total number of digital coupons applicable to at least one specific product identifier over a predetermined period of time; and
- an inventory audit report from the third party retailer site for the predetermined period of time, the inventory audit report identifying at least one purchase order associated with an inventory to which the total number of digital coupons was applied.
- Clause 79 The method of clause 65, further comprising the step of receiving, in the at least one computing device, a reimbursement request for a predetermined period of time, the reimbursement request further comprising a total discount provided with at least one digital coupon received from the coupon clearinghouse application over the predetermined period of time.
- Clause 80 The method of clause 65, wherein the step of identifying the at least one digital coupon associated with the user account further comprises determining, in the at least one computing device, whether a coupon restriction associated with the at least one digital coupon permits the at least one digital coupon to be redeemed with the third party retailer site.

- coupon metrics report containing at least one statistic regarding at least one of distribution and redemption of the digital coupon

- Clause 1 13 The system of clause 1 1 1 , wherein the at least one coupon restriction further comprises a digital coupon budget, the digital coupon budget specifying at least one of: a maximum total number of redemptions of the digital coupon and a maximum total number of digital coupons specified by the coupon specification that can be assigned to users.
- Clause 1 14 The system of clause 1 1 1 , wherein the at least one coupon restriction further comprises a retailer restriction, the retailer restriction specifying at least one third party retailer site that can redeem the digital coupon on behalf of a user.
- Clause 1 15 The system of clause 1 1 1 , wherein the at least one coupon restriction further comprises a coupon targeting criteria, the coupon targeting criteria specifying at least one of: demographic information of users to whom the digital coupon is available, at least one product purchase made by users to whom the digital coupon is available, at least one product viewed by users to whom the digital coupon is available, and a geographic location of users to whom the digital coupon is available.

- the coupon restriction by identifying a minimum advertised price associated with the product on a third party retailer site; and denying, in the at least one computing device, redemption of the digital coupon if a minimum advertised price exceeds a price specified by the coupon restriction.
- Clause 130 The method of clause 121 , wherein the coupon specification further comprises an amount the coupon issuer commits to reimburse a third party retailer in connection with a sale of the at least one product.
