Abstract

A refrigerator assembly comprising at least two refrigeration circuits (5, 6), which comprise respective compressors (7, 8) and respective expansion valves (11, 12) for carrying out two independent refrigeration cycles on respective refrigerant fluids, and heat exchanging means (9, 10; 17), which comprise at least one chamber (15, 16; 18) thermally coupled to both refrigeration circuits (5, 6), so as to allow heat exchange between each one of the refrigerant fluids and a heat carrying fluid flowing, in use, through the chamber (15, 16; 18), in order to cause the two refrigerant fluids to evaporate or condense according to the direction of the two refrigeration cycles.
