- the mobile control unit is disposed in the building containing the first home automation system or in the vicinity of this building.
- a second preliminary step S12 is activated, in which the first common key HK1 is transmitted to the mobile control unit.
- This step uses one of the methods known from the prior art. It may have been delegated to a trusted installer.
- the common key is contained in a confidential document, communicated to the installer by the owner of the installation. She is then carried forward, in the form of alphanumeric characters, using a keyboard of the mobile control unit. Alternatively, it is entered as a barcode on the confidential document and is read by a camera of the mobile control unit. Alternatively, it is recorded in an electronic tag owned by the owner and transmitted to the installer by the latter, the mobile control unit being able to read said electronic tag. Alternatively, it is transmitted via GSM by the remote server. Alternatively, it is transmitted, at reduced power, on the home automation network by an equipment internal to the building and on which has been carried out a particular manipulation. Several of these alternatives can be combined to transmit all or part of the common key to the mobile control unit.
- the security of the process comes from an encryption and an authentication procedure: for example a PIN code known only to the owner, or the only installer, to decrypt the common key.
- an authentication procedure for example a PIN code known only to the owner, or the only installer, to decrypt the common key.
- the first common key is then stored in a memory of the mobile control unit, and preferably in a separate RFU module of this mobile control unit, described in connection with the figure 9 , the decryption taking place in this separate module.
- a third preliminary step S13 the preceding steps are iterated for the second installation and the second common key.
- the two common keys are recorded in the mobile control unit.
- Preliminary sub-steps have also allowed to record the identifiers of equipment that can be controlled by the mobile control unit in each installation.
- the figure 3 represents main steps of a first embodiment of the operating method.
- the operating method can be used both in a usage mode and in a configuration mode.
- This operating method is activated when more than one common key has been registered in the mobile control unit. It is assumed in the following that the mobile control unit, contained for example in a key ring, is used by a user owner of a principal residence (first installation) and a second home (second installation).
- a first main step S21 the user acts on the control interface to issue a control command. For example, he left his main residence and arrives near his second home: he then presses the control button that he knows to be assigned to the gate operator 21. There is then a transition to a second main stage S22, said location step, wherein the mobile control unit is located.
- the location is performed by determining whether the mobile control unit is in a first geographical area, covering the first installation, or a second area, covering the second installation. Each zone is defined by an outline.
- a first contour (Contour 1) corresponds to a first geographical area in which the first installation is located and a second contour (Contour 2) corresponds to a second geographical zone in which the second installation is located.
- the location of the mobile control unit in one area or the other can be carried out according to several methods, described below.
- a third main step S23 called automatic selection, the first common key HK1 or the second common key HK2 is chosen as common key HK depending on whether this location corresponds to the first installation or the second installation. It is the same for the choice between a first set of identifiers TAB1 or a second set of identifiers TAB2.
- a control command and issued by the mobile control unit comprising both the common good key and the identifier corresponding to the equipment designated by the action on the command interface.
- a fifth main step S25 there is automatic deactivation of the second and third main stages, the latter having become useless until there is a change of installation.
- the mobile control unit behaves thereafter as if it were assigned only to the second installation, which avoids any loss of time, unnecessary radio traffic and unnecessary consumption in the execution of the next orders.
- the third main step is deactivated, and will only be reactivated if the location step shows that the location corresponds to a change of installation.
- the figure 4 represents a second embodiment of the method of operation differing from the first embodiment in that it further comprises a complementary step or sixth main step S26, in which there is automatically reactivation of the second main step and of the third main step, in the case where the issuance of an order gives rise to no response.
- the absence of an answer may result from the fact that the user has left his second home and is again in front of his principal residence responds to a message sent with the second common key HK2. It is therefore necessary to restore a step of automatically determining the location of the mobile control unit.
- the figure 5 represents a third embodiment of the operating method differing from the first embodiment in that the third main step comprises a substep S231.
- This substep comprises a download of the table of all the identifiers of the installation which has just been determined and which can be ordered from the mobile control unit.
- the memory capacity of the mobile control unit assigned to the registration of a set of identifiers can be reduced, and limited to the maximum number of identifiers contained in an installation and / or likely to be controlled by the user.
- mobile control unit For example, a 4 button remote control can have a memory space limited to 4 identifiers (if we exclude identifiers obtained by combination of support of different buttons).
- the download can be done from data stored in a remote server, or stored in one of the equipment of the installation, preferably a fixed equipment, for example the control unit 18 of the first installation and the gateway 28 of the second installation .
- the data is stored in a remote server, it can be transmitted via the GSM communication network or via the shared network.
- This equipment identification data does not require the same degree of security as common keys.
- the figure 6 represents a first embodiment of the second main step S22 of the first embodiment of the operating method, in the form of a single step S221, applicable when the mobile control unit comprises a geolocation resource, for example in the case of a phone.
- the contour is defined by geolocation.
- the position of the mobile control unit is determined using the location means, for example by using location signals from satellites such as GPS signals, and this position is compared to a pre-recorded contour in a cartographic memory.
- the position determination can take place in this case in a manner independent of any other action, that is, the second main step and the third main step can then precede the first main step.
- the locating step preferably takes place in the mobile control unit, which comprises a first cartographic memory 50 in which the position coordinates of each installation have been stored (during a prior configuration step), where is deduced the contour relative to each installation.
- this location step may be partially executed in the remote server, which may also contain a second memory map 51, containing geolocation data of the contours of each installation.
- the figure 7 represents a second embodiment of the second main step S22 of the first embodiment of the operating method.
- the location step takes place in the form of a determination step S222 based on the response of the home network equipment to a control command comprising either the first common key or the second common key.
- the current common key, or initial common key is used. If no response is received by the mobile control unit, then it deduces that it is necessary to use the other common key to repeat the same order. If an answer is then obtained, we now take this other common key as a new common key to replace the initial common key. Otherwise, this means that we are out of radio range of both facilities and we keep the initial common key, because it is more likely that the user will eventually return to the last used residence rather than change his residence. .
- the common key memory HK can be emptied.
- the mobile control unit is a key-type remote control comprising 4 control keys.
- Each control key is dedicated to a device, to control it according to a two-cycle cycle (on-off) or according to a 4-cycle cycle (direction 1 - stop - direction 2 - stop) depending on the type of equipment.
- One of the control keys is assigned to the garage door (reference 11) in the first installation and is assigned to the gate (reference 21) in the second installation.
- the garage door actuator is defined by the identifier ID (11) in the first table of identifiers TAB1
- the portal actuator is defined by the identifier ID (21) in the second table of TAB2 identifiers.
- the message sent by the mobile control unit comprises the code of the first common key HK1 and the identifier ID (11). This order therefore receives no response. As a result, the message is re-transmitted, but this time contains the code of the second common key HK2 and the identifier ID (21).
- This order therefore triggers an acknowledgment and is executed.
- the reception of an acknowledgment of receipt is sufficient to indicate to the mobile control unit what is its new location, and thus completes the location step.
- the process then proceeds to the third main step S23, and the second common key HK2 becomes the new common key for all subsequent orders, at least as long as these orders give rise to response from the equipment.
- This second embodiment may also lend itself to a greater number of common keys. It should be noted that the sending of successive messages by the control unit until an acknowledgment of receipt can be completely hidden for the user since these exchanges can be produce in a few tenths of a second or less, that is to say for example while he presses the control key.
- the determination step S222 can be split into two sub-steps, also represented in FIG. figure 7 , to ensure the location of the mobile control unit.
- a request for response is broadcast, without indication of destination home automation equipment identifier, using the initial common key. All equipment using this common key, which captures this request, respond with an acknowledgment, issued at reduced power. If this response is picked up by the mobile control unit, then the common key is retained. Otherwise, the other common key is used to iterate the same substeps, and it will be retained if at least one response is obtained from a device.

- a
first equipment 11 type actuator for garage door, - a
second equipment 12 of the shutter actuator type, - a
third equipment 13 also of actuator type for roller shutter, - a
fourth equipment 14 of the actuator type for electric lock for main door, - a
fifth equipment 15 of dimmer actuator type for dimmable lighting device. - a
sixth equipment 16 of the type heating-air conditioning actuator, - a
seventh equipment 17 of the control box and sensor type, in the form of a wall switch, - an
eighth equipment 18 type control box and sensor including a display screen, a touch control interface and including for example a temperature sensor.
Of course, the home automation installation may comprise a much larger number of control boxes and / or sensors and may include other equipment in addition to or replacement of the equipment listed above, in particular terrace awning actuator type equipment, water treatment, ventilation, etc., including domestic type such as a washing machine, TV etc. The invention however preferably applies to equipment occupying a fixed place in the building and at least one of the equipment being of access type, that is to say, able to prevent an intrusion, which is here the case of the first four equipment.
Les équipements comprennent donc chacun un moyen de liaison permettant la communication dans le réseau domotique 19.All the devices communicate with each other on the same first
All the equipments share a first common key HK1, called house key. This key is for example a word of 64 or 128 bits, housed in a memory of each equipment and an authentication algorithm using the common key is used to allow a device to recognize that a command or any message is well from another equipment of the installation.
Subsequently, it will be said for simplicity that a message "contains the common key" or "includes the common key" when its issuer is authenticated by the common key. In practice, this authentication is performed by a dialogue between the sender of the message and its recipient, or is performed by encrypting the message content using the common key, or requires both a dialogue and an encryption the content of the message. The common key is therefore not contained, as such, in the messages.
Preferably, the installation is connected to a remote server. Thus, the
In the same way, a second
The first home automation installation corresponds for example to the main residence of the user, while the second home automation installation corresponds for example to his second home.
Alternatively, the second home automation installation corresponds for example to the main residence of a neighbor.
Alternatively, the second home automation installation is a hotel room.
Thus, the same mobile control unit can participate in the control of the first installation, as represented by the arrow A1, or the control of the second installation, as represented by the arrow A2.

The mobile control unit comprises a home
These elements can be brought together in the same microcontroller.
The mobile control unit comprises a locating means 46. The locating means 41 preferably uses an
The locating means may also include an accelerometer, particularly a 3D accelerometer, for establishing part of a location information. Advantageously, the same 3D accelerometer is used in the locating means, for displacement measurements with respect to a reference point and in the orientation measuring means for orientation measurements of the mobile control unit.
The home automation communication unit also comprises an
For security reasons, the control unit is physically distinct from the telephone, with which it is associated to form the mobile control unit, and can not be provided for example by a manufacturer of a home automation network equipment. This distinctive character the control unit appears in the form of a bold line.
The control unit comprises hardware and / or software means for controlling its operation in accordance with the method of the invention. The software means may in particular comprise a computer program code means adapted to performing the steps of the method according to the invention, when the program runs on a computer. The hardware means comprise a location means for locating the mobile control unit with respect to one or more geographical areas, in particular two geographical areas respectively containing the elements of the first and second home automation systems and an automatic selection means. a common key contained in the mobile control unit.
Following a particular maneuver of the user, a second preliminary step S12 is activated, in which the first common key HK1 is transmitted to the mobile control unit.
This step uses one of the methods known from the prior art. It may have been delegated to a trusted installer.
For example, the common key is contained in a confidential document, communicated to the installer by the owner of the installation.
Preferably, the security of the process comes from an encryption and an authentication procedure: for example a PIN code known only to the owner, or the only installer, to decrypt the common key.
In a third preliminary step S13, the preceding steps are iterated for the second installation and the second common key.
At the end of the preliminary stages, which can take place in any order of the installations and according to any calendar, the two common keys are recorded in the mobile control unit.
These preliminary steps can be iterated for a third installation or a larger number of installations if the number of common key memories has been planned accordingly.
Preliminary sub-steps, not described, have also allowed to record the identifiers of equipment that can be controlled by the mobile control unit in each installation.
This operating method is activated when more than one common key has been registered in the mobile control unit. It is assumed in the following that the mobile control unit, contained for example in a key ring, is used by a user owner of a principal residence (first installation) and a second home (second installation).
In a first main step S21, the user acts on the control interface to issue a control command. For example, he left his main residence and arrives near his second home: he then presses the control button that he knows to be assigned to the
In a third main step S23, called automatic selection, the first common key HK1 or the second common key HK2 is chosen as common key HK depending on whether this location corresponds to the first installation or the second installation. It is the same for the choice between a first set of identifiers TAB1 or a second set of identifiers TAB2.
Thus, in a fourth main step S24, a control command and issued by the mobile control unit, this command comprising both the common good key and the identifier corresponding to the equipment designated by the action on the command interface.
Subsequently, in a fifth main step S25, there is automatic deactivation of the second and third main stages, the latter having become useless until there is a change of installation. Thus, the mobile control unit behaves thereafter as if it were assigned only to the second installation, which avoids any loss of time, unnecessary radio traffic and unnecessary consumption in the execution of the next orders.
Alternatively, only the third main step is deactivated, and will only be reactivated if the location step shows that the location corresponds to a change of installation.

The download can be done from data stored in a remote server, or stored in one of the equipment of the installation, preferably a fixed equipment, for example the
If the data is stored in a remote server, it can be transmitted via the GSM communication network or via the shared network. This equipment identification data does not require the same degree of security as common keys.
The locating step preferably takes place in the mobile control unit, which comprises a first
Alternatively, this location step may be partially executed in the remote server, which may also contain a
- R1 : Localisation = Installation_1
- R2 : Localisation = Installation_2
- R3 : Localisation = Hors Installations
- R1: Location = Installation_1
- R2: Location = Installation_2
- R3: Location = Not Facilities
For example, the mobile control unit is a key-type remote control comprising 4 control keys. Each control key is dedicated to a device, to control it according to a two-cycle cycle (on-off) or according to a 4-cycle cycle (direction 1 - stop - direction 2 - stop) depending on the type of equipment. One of the control keys is assigned to the garage door (reference 11) in the first installation and is assigned to the gate (reference 21) in the second installation.
It is assumed that the garage door actuator is defined by the identifier ID (11) in the first table of identifiers TAB1, and that the portal actuator is defined by the identifier ID (21) in the second table of TAB2 identifiers. The mobile control unit is used one last time to close the garage door of the first installation, at the moment the user leaves his main residence. When he arrives near his second home, he activates the same command key to send an order to open the portal.
However, the message sent by the mobile control unit comprises the code of the first common key HK1 and the identifier ID (11). This order therefore receives no response. As a result, the message is re-transmitted, but this time contains the code of the second common key HK2 and the identifier ID (21).
This order therefore triggers an acknowledgment and is executed. The reception of an acknowledgment of receipt is sufficient to indicate to the mobile control unit what is its new location, and thus completes the location step.
The process then proceeds to the third main step S23, and the second common key HK2 becomes the new common key for all subsequent orders, at least as long as these orders give rise to response from the equipment.
This second embodiment may also lend itself to a greater number of common keys. It should be noted that the sending of successive messages by the control unit until an acknowledgment of receipt can be completely hidden for the user since these exchanges can be produce in a few tenths of a second or less, that is to say for example while he presses the control key.
Par exemple le cercle CA est centré sur l'équipement référencé 17 et le cercle CB est centré sur l'équipement référencé 18.Thus, the mobile control unit ceases to be within range of at least one of the equipment as soon as one leaves the first contour C1, formed by the envelope of radius circles 10 meters centered on each of the equipment. For example, the circle CA is centered on the equipment referenced 17 and the circle CB is centered on the equipment referenced 18.
Each circle corresponds to the place of the communication limit points between the equipment and the mobile control unit. When a device has a directional character, the circle is replaced by a radiation pattern of substantially elliptical type as shown in dashed line under the reference CC for a radiation pattern of the
The range value is chosen sufficient to overlap the circles or radiation patterns and to obtain a single contour containing all the equipment of the installation.
If the home automation unit of the mobile control unit receives no response to the message broadcast during the first substep S322, then the mobile control unit RCU is out of the first contour C1, and the second control unit is activated. main step of the method with another common key to determine if the mobile control unit is in another contour.
The advantage of defining a relatively small contour in terms of dimensions is that it makes it possible to apply the control method to installations close to one another, for example to several similar installations of a subdivision or condominium.
For example, at the request of the owner of a first house and under his control, a mobile control unit of a home automation system of a neighboring house can receive, as has been indicated above, both the common key the first house and the identifiers of certain equipment, including access type, that the owner wishes to make available to the neighboring house, for example in his absence to take advantage of certain facilities (pool) or to allow the delivery of goods.
The person who has this remote neighbor home is not at all embarrassed by this transfer of new rights since the operation of his remote remains strictly identical in his neighboring house. On the other hand, when this remote control is used to access the first house, it automatically takes the configuration able to control the authorized equipment of the first house.
This results in a great ease of use, a reduction in costs since it is useless to purchase an additional remote control, a reduction in the risk of loss or theft of the means of access, because the rights are transferred to a nomadic object to which the person who has particular holds because it is the remote access to his own home, the house next door.
The right to use the common key of the first house is preferentially conditioned by a specific period or by a particular event.
In another example of application, the rights of access to a hotel room are transferred to the mobile control unit, in a secure manner and for a specified period, in the form of transfer of the common key relating to this room of hotel and in the form of table of identifiers of the equipments of the room of hotel. All the preferences of the owner of the mobile control unit may have been recorded, or communicated by a remote server, so as to accommodate it with its usual environment.
Alternatively or in a manner complementary to what has just been described, a signal indicating the transmission power (in English: "Received Signal Strength Indicator - RSSI) can be used in the steps of locating and / or selecting the one of the common keys, in particular to deal with the case where two installations are sufficiently close to carried, including when the emission is carried out at reduced power. In this case, a variant of the second and third main steps consists of broadcasting a first interrogation message with the first common key and recording a first value corresponding to the highest RSSI level of the responses, then iterating the same operation with the second key. and record a second value. The selection of the common key is made by taking the one giving the highest value. Alternatively, the first value and the second value correspond to an average value of the RSSI levels received in each case.
Unless technical or logical incompatibility, the different modes of execution of the operating method can be combined with each other. Likewise, unless technical or logical incompatibility, the different embodiments of the steps can be applied to the different execution modes and the different combinations of the execution modes.
