    characterised in that at least one transfer with a colour graphic (5) is applied at least to a partial region of a surface (1) of the sole plate of an iron (2) and baked onto the sole plate of an iron (2),
    wherein the at least one transfer is made from an enamel powder, which contains at least one colourant;
    wherein the at least one transfer is applied to an enamel layer;
    and wherein the enamel layer and the at least one transfer are baked on simultaneously.
  2. Method according to claim 1, characterised in that the colourant contains colour pigments.
  3. Method according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the at least one transfer is only applied in a partial region of the surface (1) of the sole plate of an iron (2), so that the surface (1) of the sole plate of an iron (2) contains a relief-like structure after baking.
