Durch Betätigung der Schalter 13, 21 sind beide Einrichtungen separat wie gemeinsam einsetzbar. Am unteren Ende 20 des Korpus 14 befindet sich, über ein Rohr 23 verbunden, der Gerätefuß 2, auf dessen Oberseite 22 Figur 1 den Blick freigibt. Dabei handelt es sich einerseits um den Auslass 3, aus dem der in dem Korpus des Dampferzeugungsgerätes erzeugte Dampf in Richtung zu bearbeitender Fläche austritt. An der Außenseite dieses inneren Rücksprungs 12 finden sich hier zwei als Aufnahme 7, 8 ausgebildete Ausnehmungen 9, 10 für die beiden als UV-Lampen ausgebildeten Emissionseinrichtung 5 und 6, die in einem Winkel von ungefähr 60° zueinander in einer Art V positioniert sind und die ggf. noch durch eine gitterartige Abdeckung geschützt werden könnten, die wegen der Unterbringung im Bereich des Rücksprungs 12 jedoch auch entbehrlich ist. Wird der Gerätefuß 2 nun in Pfeilrichtung 28 über die zu bearbeitende Fläche bewegt, wirkt die Anordnung der beiden UV-Lampen 5, 6 in Art eines V oder eines Keils besonders effektiv; denn es ist gewährleistet, dass es zu einer großflächigen Beaufschlagung bzw. Bearbeitung der jeweiligen Fläche kommt.
