    characterized in that the plate cylinder (16) comprises at least one fastening slot (20) for inserting and fastening front and rear edges of printing plates (2), each fastening slot (20) comprising indexing slugs (22) arranged in the fastening slot (20), each to be inserted into a notch of a front edge of the printing plate (2) for lateral positioning of the printing plate (2) along the plate cylinder, each guide rail (36) being provided to engage with a notch (12) of a front edge (6) designed to engage with an indexing slug (22) provided on the plate cylinder, the magazine (32) being arranged such that the outlet (34) of the magazine (32) extends along the plate cylinder (16) and each guide rail (36) is aligned with a respective indexing slug (22).
  2. The printing assembly according to claim 1, comprising at least one push-piece (38) to push the or each printing plate received in a magazine (32) toward the outlet (34) of the magazine (32).
  3. The printing assembly according to claim 1 or 2, the magazine (32) comprising several parallel guide rails (36) laterally spaced apart.
  4. The printing assembly according to claim 3, wherein the guide rails (36) are in a fixed position.
  5. The printing assembly according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the magazine (32) comprises a support plate (40) configured to receive at least one printing plate (2) placed on one surface (40A) of the support plate (40), the guide rails (36) being fixed on said surface (40A).
  6. The printing assembly according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising at least two sets (A, B, C) of printing plates, the printing plates of each set being capable of being arranged and fixed side-by-side along the plate cylinder, the set comprising at least one printing plate with a width different from that of at least one printing plate of the other set.
  7. The printing assembly according to claim 6, each of the two sets of printing plates having printing plates with the same width different from that of the printing plates of the other set.
  8. A printing assembly according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising a set of printing plates capable of being arranged and fixed side-by-side along the plate cylinder, the set of printing plates comprising at least two printing plates having different widths (D1, D2, D3), in particular at least one printing plate (D1) having a width twice the size of that of another printing plate (D2, D3) of the set.
  9. The printing assembly according to claim 8, wherein the set of printing plates comprises at least two one-page printing plates (D2, D3) and at least one two-page printing plate (D1) with a width twice that of the one-page printing plates.
  10. The printing assembly according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising a set of printing plates provided to be fixed side-by-side along the plate cylinder (16), at least two printing plates having the same width and comprising notches formed in their folded front edges (12), the lateral positioning of the notches along the front edge of their respective printing plates being different.
  11. A rotary offset press (18) comprising at least one assembly according to any one of the preceding claims.
  12. A method for loading a printing plate (2) on a plate cylinder (16) of a printing assembly for a rotary offset press according to claim 1, the printing plate (2) comprising a front edge (6) designed to be inserted into a fastening slot (20) of the plate cylinder (16) to fasten the printing plate (2) on the plate cylinder (16), characterized in that the front edge (6) has a notch (12) provided to be engaged with an indexing slug (22) in the slot (20), the printing plate (2) is transferred from a magazine (32) to the plate cylinder by guiding the printing plate (2) along a guide rail (36) cooperating with the notch (12) of the front edge (6), the guide rail (36) being aligned with the indexing slug (22).
