Definitions
- sorting machines for plastic crates with hinged side walls which perform at the occasionally supplied crates, mechanical and / or optical surveys to, based on some features relating to the construction and / or dimensions, the respective model of the crates and any defective trays can determine to supply them to the respective stacking stations, or a common reject station.
- the optical survey often causes the only slightly warped sidewalls or bottoms of a crate, which causes waste, even if this crate was effectively still fully functional.
- the known machines have the fact that the stacking is done by individual models by acting from below piston, noteworthy proportions, further provided for the stacking of small crates (300 x 400) specific stacking shafts which are often not used.
- the operating speed of the known sorting machines is often not sufficiently high, therefore, in a complex processing plant, such as e.g. a climbing car wash, the limited working speed of the sorting machine, which affects the performance of the entire system.
- the invention has as its object to create a sorting machine for climbing with hinged side walls of the type described above to thereby to improve the survey system and speed of operation, to reduce the overall dimensions of the machine and to make it possible for each of the stacking shafts to be converted for large trays (600 x 400) into a stack tray for small trays (300 x 400).
- the invention proposes that the survey of the riser model, or damage to the individual of the sorting machine supplied cramps, exclusively mechanically in stationary crates which occupies an absolutely defined position, even if the feeding in this defined survey position and also the following transport to the stacking station, or to the reject station, takes place at high speed. Furthermore, the invention proposes that each of the stacking stations be fed by high feed rates of the individual trays, regardless of the changes in speed which the tray experiences during feeding to, and during discharge from, the rump station, and even very little short, hold the crate during the survey phase.
- the crate which is supplied on a conveyor belt of the survey station, at least on one side of lateral rollers with vertical axis of rotation detects which laterally grip on the side edges of the crate to push against two mechanical, arranged according to a line transverse to the forward movement of the crate attacks ,
- These said stops are vertically movable through apertures provided on the horizontal platen for the crates, these stops take the extended projected active position as soon as a crate approaches and are retracted to the retracted position once the crest on the crate has been made.
- At least two conveyor rollers accelerate the movement of the tray after it has been removed from the feed conveyor belt to bring it, within a very short time, with the front edge in a position close to the two protruding from the support plate attacks. Subsequent to taking the said position near the stops, the movement of the tray is slowed down until said front edge abuts against the stops. Due to the contact of the front edge of both attacks the crate is held in this adjacent position in that the rollers push them with a certain torque against the stops.
- This process according to the invention ensures the exact positioning and the motionless support of the crate for the implementation of the efficient and accurate surveys on the supplied crate, which occurs at the moment at which the rollers press the crate against the stops. This survey is carried out by a series of known buttons which are pressed elastically against the upper surface of the underlying crate with folded side walls.
- the tray is pushed by the same rollers in the direction of, provided at the side of the row of stacking shafts, conveyor belt. During said advancement, the rollers accelerate the movement of the crate from 0 m / sec. to a speed equal to that of the conveyor belts for the subsequent advancement of the tray towards the stacking shafts.
- the said lateral rollers can be replaced by at least one conveyor belt per side, whereby a larger contact surface is reached at the side edge of the crate.
- the conveyor belts for the trays provided along the successively aligned stacking shafts may be only two, one on each of the longitudinal sides of the stacking shafts, or specific pairs of belts may be provided for each of the stacking trays arranged so that the trays of one belt pair is transported to the next.
- the crates by means of said belt, they do not rest on a lower guide or support.
- the said belts are pressed by roller groups laterally against the opposite edges of the crates, these support rollers are mounted on profile rods which in turn are movable in the direction of the rim and by pneumatic cylinders which act on the end portions of each profile bar, are pivotable.
- the pivoting movement allows a remarkable adjustment of the conveyor belt during the passage of the crates which have dimensions with rather wideêtollerolleranzen.
- the carrier rolls can be replaced by carrier plates on which the back of the conveyor belt runs.
- the conveyor belts are blocked and the respective profiled bars with the carrier rolls and the conveyor belts themselves are withdrawn, being removed from the side edge of the crate in the section corresponding to the shaft of said stacking station.
- each of the stack shafts can according to the invention in the field of free fall of the crates, im middle section, with a transverse divider to equip this shaft for the stacking of small trays (300 x 400) of the same model, which are placed alternately on one side and on the opposite side of the separation.
- the invention provides that the case of the small crates always takes place so that their, transverse to the conveying direction transverse edge falls on a guide plate which is provided on each of the short sides of each of the stacking shafts and not in a voltage applied to the separation Position falls.
- the conveyor belts for the crates in the direction of the stack shafts, along the lower edge, towards the crates, may have a projecting longitudinal edge, a plurality of upwardly inclined, elastically deformable longitudinal flaps or inclined vertical flaps to achieve warped or damaged crumbs be held correctly without a part of the riser down, over the lower edge of said conveyor belts, protruding, thereby causing conveyor inhibitions or conveyor faults.
- the said projecting lobes can also be replaced by nubs which increase the contact surface for the edges of the captured crate by their elastic deformation.
- the sorted crates are ejected in a known manner, in an area beyond the various stack shafts where they are taken from a separate container.
- the Fig. 1 schematically shows in plan view the last part of the feed conveyor belt, the survey area and the first area of the stacking shafts with the respective conveyor belt of the sorting machine according to the invention, with a tray in position of the survey station and provided with the second stacking shaft with a separation difference.
- the Fig. 2 shows in plan view the detail of the front portion of the crate during the survey, which presses by, acting on the opposite lateral edges of the tray rollers, with its front edge against two, from a support plate vertically projecting stops.
- the Fig. 3 shows in plan view a movable profile bar with a roller group for a conveyor belt arranged laterally in the region of a stacking shaft, together with the retraction elements for the profile bar and for the conveyor belt.
- the Fig. 4 shows a cross section through a conveyor belt with a lower, projecting against the tray to be held, longitudinal edge and with the profile bar together with carrier rollers together with the force acting on the belt retracting element.
- the Fig. 5 shows the cross section of a conveyor belt which with a plurality of elastically deformable and upwardly inclined, projecting against the edge of the tray longitudinal tabs.
- the Fig. 6 shows a perspective view of a conveyor belt with vertical, elastically deformable and inclined to the edge of the crate protruding tabs.
- the different models of the trays A with the folded side walls are fed by a conveyor belt 1 of the survey station B 1a, this consists essentially of a lower support plate 3x with two vertically adjustable stops 4, from a series of buttons 2 which elastically from above against the underlying Riser A are pressed and at least one rotating 3r conveyor roller 3 per side, which is pivotally mounted about a vertical axis and is pressed by cylinder 3a against the side edges of the tray A.
- the invention does not exclude that said side rollers 3 are replaced by conveyor belts.
- the stops 4 are pulled back down and the tray A is pushed by the rollers 3 in the direction of the stacking stations C, the speed of 0 m / sec. to a speed equal to that of the conveyor belt 5e provided on both sides of the row of the stacked stackers 5a, 5b.
- the rotation 3r of said conveyor rollers 3 is thus controlled independently of the movements 1a of the feed conveyor belt 1 and by the movements 5f of the conveyor belts 5e.
- the said conveyor belts 5e are driven by driving pulleys 5g and may be provided solely for the entire arrangement of the stacking shafts 5a, 5b.
- the trays A are, without a lower sliding support, held between the said belts 5e by being pressed against the opposite edges of the intermediate trays A by pneumatic cylinders 5i which are movable horizontally and transversely to the conveying motion 5f of the belts 5e 5p act.
- the profile rods 5p can further perform a pivoting movement 5x which allows for the passage of crates with slightly different widths an approximation to always guarantee a safe further promotion of the crate.
- Said profiled bars 5p which extend approximately over the entire longitudinal extent of each of the individual stacking shafts 5a, are provided with a series of supporting rollers 5h on which the belt 5e rests and equipped with retraction elements 5m which act on both longitudinal edges of the belt 5e to reach that the crate A can fall freely into those stacking shaft 5a which has been determined in the survey phase for the determination of the crate model.
- the said retracting members 5m act on the belts 5e due to the positioning of the tray A just above the corresponding stacking tray 5a, 5b and due to the stopping of the belts in this position.
- the two profiled bars 5p extend around the belt 5e to transmit the pressing movement 5n against the edges of the crates A therebetween. or to reach the retraction so that the crate falls into the corresponding stacking shaft, over the entire length of the stacking shaft without a separation 5c.
- the invention does not exclude that the said two conveyor belts 5e are replaced by individual pairs of belts which run on profile bars 5p with support rollers 5h, said profile bars are movably 5n or about longitudinal axes, parallel to the conveying direction of the tray A, stored.
- the profile bars 5p may be free of retraction elements 5m.
- the support rollers 5h are replaced by sliding plates.
- Each of the stacking shafts 5a is provided on the sides, transversely to the conveying direction of the trays A, with baffles 5d.
- the stacking of the crates within the shaft 5a, 5b is carried out in a known manner by pre-stacking in the upper region of the shaft, this stacking has a buffer function during the time of removal of the stacked crates from the stacking shaft.

Abstract
Description
There are sorting machines for plastic crates with hinged side walls known which perform at the occasionally supplied crates, mechanical and / or optical surveys to, based on some features relating to the construction and / or dimensions, the respective model of the crates and any defective trays can determine to supply them to the respective stacking stations, or a common reject station.
After the mechanical surveys on the crates, during their further promotion, or during their hold, made on the known sorting machines and the crates but often take slightly different positions for exactly predetermined measurement position, it comes to different measurement errors which sorting and stacking faults and more often also cause jamming. The optical survey, however, often causes the only slightly warped sidewalls or bottoms of a crate, which causes waste, even if this crate was effectively still fully functional. The known machines have the fact that the stacking is done by individual models by acting from below piston, noteworthy proportions, further provided for the stacking of small crates (300 x 400) specific stacking shafts which are often not used. The operating speed of the known sorting machines is often not sufficiently high, therefore, in a complex processing plant, such as e.g. a climbing car wash, the limited working speed of the sorting machine, which affects the performance of the entire system.
The invention has as its object to create a sorting machine for climbing with hinged side walls of the type described above to thereby to improve the survey system and speed of operation, to reduce the overall dimensions of the machine and to make it possible for each of the stacking shafts to be converted for large trays (600 x 400) into a stack tray for small trays (300 x 400).
To solve this problem, the invention proposes that the survey of the riser model, or damage to the individual of the sorting machine supplied cramps, exclusively mechanically in stationary crates which occupies an absolutely defined position, even if the feeding in this defined survey position and also the following transport to the stacking station, or to the reject station, takes place at high speed. Furthermore, the invention proposes that each of the stacking stations be fed by high feed rates of the individual trays, regardless of the changes in speed which the tray experiences during feeding to, and during discharge from, the rump station, and even very little short, hold the crate during the survey phase.
According to the invention, the crate, which is supplied on a conveyor belt of the survey station, at least on one side of lateral rollers with vertical axis of rotation detects which laterally grip on the side edges of the crate to push against two mechanical, arranged according to a line transverse to the forward movement of the crate attacks , These said stops are vertically movable through apertures provided on the horizontal platen for the crates, these stops take the extended projected active position as soon as a crate approaches and are retracted to the retracted position once the crest on the crate has been made.
After a short stop of the crate which rests with the front edge of the vertically movable stops and during which the mechanical known survey is carried out by means of elastically pressed against the underlying crate button and as a result of retracting said attacks, push the lateral conveyor rollers in the direction of the lateral conveyor belt or the lateral conveyor roller groups which are provided on both longitudinal sides of a series of mutually aligned according to the conveying direction of the crates stacking shafts.
According to the invention, at least two conveyor rollers accelerate the movement of the tray after it has been removed from the feed conveyor belt to bring it, within a very short time, with the front edge in a position close to the two protruding from the support plate attacks. Subsequent to taking the said position near the stops, the movement of the tray is slowed down until said front edge abuts against the stops. Due to the contact of the front edge of both attacks the crate is held in this adjacent position in that the rollers push them with a certain torque against the stops. This process according to the invention ensures the exact positioning and the motionless support of the crate for the implementation of the efficient and accurate surveys on the supplied crate, which occurs at the moment at which the rollers press the crate against the stops. This survey is carried out by a series of known buttons which are pressed elastically against the upper surface of the underlying crate with folded side walls.
Once the survey has been completed and the stops have been moved to the retracted position, the tray is pushed by the same rollers in the direction of, provided at the side of the row of stacking shafts, conveyor belt. During said advancement, the rollers accelerate the movement of the crate from 0 m / sec. to a speed equal to that of the conveyor belts for the subsequent advancement of the tray towards the stacking shafts.
According to the invention, the said lateral rollers can be replaced by at least one conveyor belt per side, whereby a larger contact surface is reached at the side edge of the crate.
According to the invention, the conveyor belts for the trays provided along the successively aligned stacking shafts may be only two, one on each of the longitudinal sides of the stacking shafts, or specific pairs of belts may be provided for each of the stacking trays arranged so that the trays of one belt pair is transported to the next. During the further promotion of the crates by means of said belt, they do not rest on a lower guide or support. The said belts are pressed by roller groups laterally against the opposite edges of the crates, these support rollers are mounted on profile rods which in turn are movable in the direction of the rim and by pneumatic cylinders which act on the end portions of each profile bar, are pivotable. In particular, the pivoting movement allows a remarkable adjustment of the conveyor belt during the passage of the crates which have dimensions with rather wide Maßollerolleranzen. Of course, the carrier rolls can be replaced by carrier plates on which the back of the conveyor belt runs. As soon as the crate reaches the specific stacking shaft due to the surveys made, the conveyor belts are blocked and the respective profiled bars with the carrier rolls and the conveyor belts themselves are withdrawn, being removed from the side edge of the crate in the section corresponding to the shaft of said stacking station. so that the tray can fall freely down into said stacking tray where the trays are stacked in a known manner in a first phase at the top of the stacking tray which serves as a buffer to subsequently enter the lower stacking tray where there is a toothed belt vertically operated, pad down, depending on the periodically removed from the upper buffer area tray group is moved to thereby not interrupt the stacking during the removal of a stack of riser. Each of the stack shafts can according to the invention in the field of free fall of the crates, im middle section, with a transverse divider to equip this shaft for the stacking of small trays (300 x 400) of the same model, which are placed alternately on one side and on the opposite side of the separation. In order to prevent inhibitions, the invention provides that the case of the small crates always takes place so that their, transverse to the conveying direction transverse edge falls on a guide plate which is provided on each of the short sides of each of the stacking shafts and not in a voltage applied to the separation Position falls.
Of course, the retraction of the roller groups together with the conveyor belt in the region of each of the stacking shafts, by linear horizontal adjustment or by pivoting about a, to the conveying direction of the crates, parallel axis. In the case of a stacking shaft with separation difference for stacking small crates, the roller groups and the conveyor belts are always withdrawn over the entire longitudinal extent of the stacking shaft, since only one of the small crates is held between the conveyor belts for this area.
According to the invention, the conveyor belts for the crates, in the direction of the stack shafts, along the lower edge, towards the crates, may have a projecting longitudinal edge, a plurality of upwardly inclined, elastically deformable longitudinal flaps or inclined vertical flaps to achieve warped or damaged crumbs be held correctly without a part of the riser down, over the lower edge of said conveyor belts, protruding, thereby causing conveyor inhibitions or conveyor faults. Of course, the said projecting lobes can also be replaced by nubs which increase the contact surface for the edges of the captured crate by their elastic deformation.
The sorted crates are ejected in a known manner, in an area beyond the various stack shafts where they are taken from a separate container.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to a, in the attached drawings schematically illustrated, preferable embodiment of a sorting machine according to the invention for climbing with hinged side walls closer; The drawings fulfill a purely explanatory, non-limiting, purpose.

The different models of the trays A with the folded side walls are fed by a conveyor belt 1 of the
The invention does not exclude that the said two
The stacking of the crates within the
The
According to the invention, the
In the case of
