- a platform 22 extends radially inwardly. From the inner edge of the platform 22 an upstanding collar 23 is provided which forms a chimney-like spout. At the opposite end of the collar 23 to the platform 22 a sealing portion 24 extends radially inwardly and defines at its centre an aperture 25. Approximately half way along the portion 24 an annular sealing leg 26 depends and terminates with a sealing bead 27. The arm 24 terminates with a wedge-shape portion 28 which includes a downwardly depending section.

- the valve 70 is of standard construction and briefly comprises a generally triangular section support ring 71, a J-shape connecting wall 72 and a generally disc-shape concave valve head 73.

- the member 80 is generally annular and comprises a retention band 81 from which depends a cutting region comprising a plurality of teeth 82 and a single arcuate blade 83. At the end of the collar 81 opposite the teeth 82 a bead 84 projects radially inwardly. Extending parallel to the collar 81 on the opposite side of the teeth 82 is a retention jaw 85.
- the member 80 is snap fitted on to the base so that the bead 84 clips over the bead 27.
- the jaw 85 engages the segment 71 so that it is held firmly between the portion 28 and the jaw 85.
- the jaw 85 includes an inclined surface oppositely inclined to that side of the segment 71.
- the lid 30 comprises a generally disc-shape top plate 31 from which depends a cylindrical sidewall.
- a cylindrical bead 33 depends from the underside of the top plate 31 and is positioned to engage around the neck 23 to provide at least an initial seal.
- a closure 110 formed according to an alternative embodiment is shown.
- the closure 110 is very similar to the closure 10.
- a heat sealable liner 160 is provided and fits into the base 120 under the platform 122.
- the closure 110 is fitted onto a container neck (not shown) and induction is used to seal the liner onto the neck. Subsequently the piercing process is as described below.

Claims (15)
- Fermeture autoperceuse (10) pour un récipient du type ayant un élément de fermeture laminaire (60), la fermeture (10) comprenant un corps de fermeture et ayant un moyen de percement (80) destiné à percer l'élément de fermeture (60) en utilisation, la fermeture (10) comprenant en outre une valve à fermeture automatique (70) destinée à distribuer un milieu liquide à partir d'un récipient à la suite d'un percement de l'élément de fermeture (60) en utilisation, dans laquelle le moyen de percement est un élément de percement (80) formé séparément du corps de fermeture et pouvant être fixé à celui-ci, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de percement (80) maintient la valve à fermeture automatique (70) contre la fermeture.
- Fermeture selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle l'élément de percement (80) comprend un moyen d'encliquetage (84) pour le fixer au corps.
- Fermeture selon la revendication 1 ou la revendication 2, dans laquelle l'élément de percement et le corps comprennent un moyen d'engagement à encliquetage coopérant (84, 27).
- Fermeture selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, dans laquelle l'élément de percement (80) est formé comme un insert séparé qui peut être connecté dans le corps à partir du dessous.
- Fermeture selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle l'élément de percement (80) comprend une pluralité de dents de coupe (82).
- Fermeture selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le corps de fermeture est mobile d'une première position à une deuxième position pour activer le moyen de percement.
- Fermeture selon la revendication 6, dans laquelle le corps de fermeture comprend une région déformable (23) destinée à lui permettre de passer de la première position à la deuxième position.
- Fermeture selon la revendication 7, dans laquelle la région déformable (23) est amincie.
- Fermeture selon la revendication 7 ou la revendications 8, dans laquelle une déformation de la région déformable (23) est obtenue par une action de roulement.
- Fermeture selon l'une quelconque des revendications 6 à 9, dans laquelle la fermeture est formée à la deuxième position et est déplacée à la première position avant activation.
- Fermeture selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle la fermeture comprend une base (20) et un couvercle (30).
- Fermeture selon la revendication 11, dans laquelle la base (20) et le couvercle (30) sont connectés ensemble par une charnière (40).
- Fermeture selon la revendication 11 ou la revendication 12 dans laquelle le moyen de percement (80) est supporté sur ou par la base (20).
- Fermeture selon l'une quelconque des revendications 11 à 13, dans laquelle la valve à fermeture automatique (70) est supportée sur ou par la base (20).
- Récipient ayant une fermeture (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes.
