  • Most of the eccentric force generated by the laundry 90 is eliminated by the front balancer 80, which is disposed adjacent to the laundry 90, and only a portion of the eccentric force generated by the laundry 90 is eliminated by the rear balancer 95 disposed at the rear side of the drum 30.
  • the fluid 84 contained in the front balancer 80 moves toward the direction opposite to the laundry 90, i.e., toward the upper part of the drum 30 in the drawing, to eliminate the eccentric force generated by the laundry 90. Consequently, the drum is rotated while the fluid 84 is opposite to the laundry 90, and therefore, the eccentric force generated by the laundry 90 is effectively eliminated.
  • the fluid 84 contained in the rear balancer 85 moves toward the direction opposite to the laundry 90, i.e., toward the upper part of the drum 30 in the drawing, to eliminate the eccentric force generated by the laundry 90.
  • the laundry 90 is spaced a relatively great distance from the rear side of the drum 30. For this reason, a relatively small amount of the eccentric force is applied to the rear side of the drum 30. Consequently, the fluid 84 contained in the rear balancer 85 is not concentrated toward the direction opposite to the laundry 90, and therefore, only a relatively small amount of the eccentric force generated by the laundry 90 is eliminated by the rear balancer 85.
  • the front and rear balancers 80 and 85 mounted in the front and at the rear of the drum 80 complementarily perform the balancing operation on the laundry 90 such that a relatively large amount of the eccentric force generated by the laundry 90 is eliminated by the front balancer 80, which is disposed adjacent to the laundry 90, and a relatively small amount of the eccentric force generated by the laundry 90 is eliminated by the rear balancer 85, which is disposed away from the laundry 90.
  • the front and rear balancers 80 and 85 mounted to the drum 30 complementarily eliminates the eccentric force generated by the laundry 90 and 95 wherever the laundry 90 and 95 is placed.
  • the drum type washing machine according to the present invention has the following effects.
  • the front and rear balancers are mounted at the front and rear sides of the drum, respectively, and therefore, the eccentric force generated by the laundry is complementarily eliminated by the front and rear balancers even when the laundry is eccentrically placed at one side of the drum.
  • the eccentric force generated by the laundry eccentrically placed in the drum is effectively eliminated by the front and rear balancers. Consequently, the present invention has the effect of reducing vibration generated when the drum is rotated.

Claims (14)

  1. Machine à laver du type du type à tambour comprenant :
    - une carrosserie (10),
    - une cuve (20) fixée à la carrosserie (10) pour contenir de l'eau dans celle-ci ;
    - un tambour (30) placé rotatif dans la cuve (20) ;
    - un arbre (42) relié au tambour (30) ;
    - un boîtier de palier (28) pour supporter l'arbre (42) de manière rotative, et
    - un moteur (40) monté à l'arrière du boîtier de palier (28) et relié à l'arbre (42) ;
    caractérisée en ce que la machine à laver comprend en outre :
    - un support de cuve (26) monté sur le côté avant du boîtier de palier (28) pour servir de paroi de la cuve (20) ;
    - un joint d'étanchéité (50) relié entre la cuve (20) et le support de cuve (26) pour assurer l'étanchéité entre la cuve (20) et le support de cuve (26) et pour permettre au support de cuve (26) de se déplacer par rapport à la cuve (20) ; et
    - une suspension (60) fixée sur le boîtier de palier (28) pour réduire les vibrations du tambour (30).
  2. Machine à laver du type à tambour selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle la cuve (20) comprend un couvercle de cuve (24) ayant une ouverture dans sa paroi arrière, et le joint d'étanchéité (50) est relié au couvercle de cuve (24) et au support de cuve (26).
  3. Machine à laver du type à tambour selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le support de cuve (26) présente une partie étendue qui s'étend radialement au-delà du moteur (40).
  4. Machine à laver du type à tambour selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le support de cuve (26) a une partie radialement intérieure qui est agencée plus à l'intérieur de la cuve (20) qu'une partie radialement extérieure du support de cuve (26).
  5. Machine à laver du type à tambour selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le boîtier de palier (28) présente une partie étendue qui s'étend dans une direction radiale sur une surface circonférentielle extérieure de la cuve (20), et la suspension (60) est reliée à la partie étendue du boîtier de palier (28).
  6. Machine à laver du type à tambour selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle la suspension (60) comprend des supports d'amortisseur (61) reliés au boîtier de palier (28) et des amortisseurs (70) reliés aux supports d'amortisseur (61).
  7. Machine à laver du type à tambour selon la revendication 6, dans laquelle les supports d'amortisseur (61) s'étendent dans un sens de l'axe de rotation du tambour (30).
  8. Machine à laver du type à tambour selon la revendication 6, dans laquelle les supports d'amortisseur (61) comprennent deux supports d'amortisseur opposés (61) qui sont positionnés sur les deux côtés latéraux opposés d'un axe de rotation du tambour (30).
  9. Machine à laver du type à tambour selon la revendication 6, dans laquelle les supports d'amortisseur (61) s'étendent sur une surface périphérique extérieure de la cuve (20).
  10. Machine à laver du type à tambour selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle la suspension (60) comprend deux amortisseurs (70) qui sont positionnés sur les deux côtés latéraux opposés d'un axe de rotation du tambour (30), et un amortisseur (70) qui est relié à une partie centrale inférieure du boîtier de palier (28).
  11. Machine à laver du type à tambour selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle la suspension (60) comprend deux amortisseurs (70) qui sont agencés verticalement sur les deux côtés latéraux opposés d'un axe de rotation du tambour (30), et un amortisseur (70) qui est agencé en oblique et relié à une partie centrale inférieure du boîtier de palier (28).
  12. Machine à laver du type à tambour selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle la suspension (60) comprend un amortisseur vertical (70) pour réduire les vibrations verticales du tambour (30) et un amortisseur en oblique (70) pour réduire les vibrations horizontales ou obliques du tambour (30).
  13. Machine à laver du type à tambour selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le joint d'étanchéité (50) est plus espacé du tambour (30) que le support de cuve (26) est espacé du tambour (30).
  14. Machine à laver du type à tambour selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le joint d'étanchéité (50) a un diamètre intérieur supérieur au diamètre extérieur du moteur (40).
