Claims (8)
- Authentifizierbare diskrete Vorrichtung für ein Produkt, das unterschiedlichen Lichtverhältnissen ausgesetzt ist, aus der Entfernung bedienbar mit Hilfe eines Authentifizierungsgerätes und korrespondierenden Authentifizierungsgerätes, wobei die Vorrichtung mindestens ein Sicherheitselement aufweist, das auf besagtem Produkt angebracht ist, das in der Lage ist, unter der Einwirkung einer räumlich und zeitlich kohärenten Strahlung vom Typ Laser, die von dem Authentifizierungsgerät ausgesendet wird, eine Färbung zu entwickeln, und dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass besagtes Authentifizierungsgerät eine Strahlung in Form von mindestens einem Strahl aussendet, wodurch es möglich ist, eine beträchtliche Fläche durch einfaches, in eine Richtung gehendes Scannen aus einer Entfernung zu erfassen, die zwischen 20 Zentimetern und mehr als einem Meter liegt, wobei besagter Strahl die Form einer Linie haben kann kann, die eine Länge von mindestens 5 cm bei einer Entfernung von einem Meter und vorzugsweise von mehr als 10 cm aufweist, oder die Form eines Kreuzes, bei dem jedes vertikale oder horizontale Segment eine Länge von mindestens 5 cm bei einer Entfernung von einem Meter und vorzugsweise von mehr als 10 cm aufweist.
- Aus der Entfernung authentifizierbare Vorrichtung und Authentifizierungsgerät nach Anspruch 1, bei welcher sich die von dem Authentifizierungsgerät ausgesendete Strahlung außerhalb des vom Auge wahrnehmbaren Bereichs befindet und die entwickelte Färbung intensiv ist, das heißt auf eine Entfernung sichtbar, die bei direktem Sonnenlicht mehr als einen Meter oder in der Dunkelheit mehrere Meter erreichen kann.
- Aus der Entfernung authentifizierbare Vorrichtung und Authentifizierungsgerät nach Anspruch 2, bei welcher die ausgesendete Strahlung eine Laserstrahlung ist, die vorzugsweise in einer Spanne zwischen 254 nm und 380 nm im ultravioletten Bereich aussendet.
- Aus der Entfernung authentifizierbare Vorrichtung und Authentifizierungsgerät nach Anspruch 3, bei welcher das die Färbung erzeugende Sicherheitselement ein Farbstoff oder ein fluoreszierendes oder phosphorisierendes Pigment ist, das in dem sichtbaren Bereich des Spektrums unter der Einwirkung der Strahlung aussendet.
- Aus der Entfernung authentifizierbare Vorrichtung und Authentifizierungsgerät nach Anspruch 2, bei welcher die ausgesendete Strahlung eine Laserstrahlung ist, die vorzugsweise oberhalb von 850 nm im infraroten Bereich aussendet.
- Aus der Entfernung authentifizierbare Vorrichtung und Authentifizierungsgerät nach Anspruch 5, bei welcher das die Färbung erzeugende Sicherheitselement ein Farbstoff oder ein Anti-Stokes-Pigment ist, das in dem sichtbaren Bereich des Spektrums unter der Einwirkung der Strahlung aussendet.
- Aus der Entfernung authentifizierbare Vorrichtung und Authentifizierungsgerät nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, bei welcher das Sicherheitselement bei Tageslicht wenig oder gar nicht gefärbt ist oder eine nicht störende Farbe hat, wenn dieses einer Druckertinte, einem Lack oder einer Oberflächenbeschichtung hinzugefügt wird.
- Methode zur Authentifizierung eines Produkts aus einer Entfernung, die zwischen 20 Zentimetern und mehr als einem Meter liegt, unter unterschiedlichen Lichtverhältnissen mit Hilfe eines Authentifizierungsgerätes, wobei die Methode dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass:- das Produkt mindestens ein Sicherheitselement aufweist, das eine intensive Färbung entwickelt, somit sichtbar auf eine Entfernung ist, die bei direktem Sonnenlicht mehr als einen Meter oder in der Dunkelheit mehrere Meter erreichen kann, unter der Einwirkung einer räumlich und zeitlich kohärenten Strahlung vom Typ Laser, die durch das Authentifizierungsgerät ausgesendet wird, wobei es sich bei dieser Strahlung entweder um einen Laserstrahl handelt, der infrarotes Licht, insbesondere Licht von 980 nm aussendet und das die Färbung entwickelnde Sicherheitselement ein Anti-Stokes-Pigment ist, oder um einen Laserstrahl, der ein Licht um 360 nm herum aussendet und das die Färbung entwickelnde Sicherheitselement ein Farbstoff oder ein fluoreszierendes oder phosphorisierendes Pigment ist, oder um zwei Laserstrahlen, von denen der eine Licht von 980 nm und der andere von 360 nm aussendet und das Sicherheitselement ein Anti-Stokes-Pigment und einen Farbstoff oder ein fluoreszierendes oder phosphorisierendes Pigment verbindet,- das Authentifizierungsgerät eine Strahlung aussendet, wodurch es möglich ist, eine beträchtliche Fläche durch einfaches, in eine Richtung gehendes Scannen aus einer Entfernung zu erfassen, die zwischen 20 Zentimetern und mehr als einem Meter liegt, wobei besagter Strahl die Form einer Linie haben kann, die eine Länge von mindestens 5 cm bei einer Entfernung von einem Meter und vorzugsweise von mehr als 10 cm aufweist, oder die Form eines Kreuzes, bei dem jedes vertikale oder horizontale Segment eine Länge von mindestens 5 cm bei einer Entfernung von einem Meter und vorzugsweise von mehr als 10 cm aufweist,wobei die Authentifizierungsmethode für die mit der Überprüfung beauftragte Person darin besteht, den zu überprüfenden Bereich des Produkts mit Hilfe der vom Authentifizierungsgerät ausgesendeten Strahlung zu scannen, so dass auf der Oberfläche des Produkts eine spezifische Färbung erzeugt wird, wobei diese Färbung entweder sofort oder nach einer ziemlich kurzen Zeit verschwindet, wenn die Strahlung unterbrochen oder der Strahl entfernt wird.
