- A connection apparatus for connecting electrical devices, in particular electric motors, especially to an AC system, comprising a housing (1) with a lower housing part (2) and an upper housing part (3), wherein a plurality of multiple terminals (8, 9, 10, 11) are arranged in the housing (1), said multiple terminals respectively having at least one or two or more conductor terminals (15, 16) and second terminals (17, 18, 19) which are electrically conductively connected thereto, wherein the connection apparatus comprises a configuring plug (23) which is provided for conductively connecting individual or a plurality of the multiple terminals (8, 9, 10, 11) in at least two different positions for realising at least two different circuit types, characterized in that the conductor terminals (15, 16) are formed as direct plug-in terminals (push-in).
- A connection apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the configuring plug can be applied from the outside to the housing (1) and comprises contacts which are formed for the engagement in one or a plurality of the second terminals (70, 18, 19) of individual or a plurality of the multiple terminals (8, 9, 10, 11).
- A connection apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the contacts of the configuring plug (23) are contact blades (26, 27) and the second contacts of the multiple terminals (23 - 24) are corresponding tulip contacts (17, 18, 19).
- A connection apparatus according to one or several of the preceding claims, characterized in that the direct plug-in terminals preferably each comprise a clamping cage (20) and a clamping spring (21) retained in the clamping cage and a busbar (22).
- A connection apparatus according to one or several of the preceding claims, characterized in that two of the direct plug-in terminals are joined to a double terminal.
- A connection apparatus according to one or several of the preceding claims, characterized in that the multiple terminals (15, 16) comprise first multiple terminals (8) and second multiple terminals (9, 10, 11), wherein the first multiple terminals (8) each comprise two conductor terminals (15, 16) and one of the second terminals (17).
- A connection apparatus according to one or several of the preceding claims, characterized in that the first multiple terminals (8) are provided for connecting and electrically connecting the connecting conductors (L1, L2, L3) of an AC network to a first end of the phase conductors (U1, V1, W1) of a three-phase motor.
- A connection apparatus according to claim 7, characterized in that the second multiple terminals (9, 10, 11) are provided for connecting the second ends of the phase conductors (U2, V2, W2) of the three-phase motor.
- A connection apparatus according to one or several of the preceding claims, characterized in that insertion openings (13) are provided in the housing (1) for inserting the conductors into the conductor terminals and insertion openings (14) for inserting the contacts of the configuring plug (23).
- A connection apparatus according to one or several of the preceding claims, characterized in that the configuring plug (23) can be inserted into the insertion openings (14) in two positions which differ from each other relatively by 180°.
- A connection apparatus according to one or several of the preceding claims, characterized in that the arrangement of the insertion openings (14) in the upper housing part (3) and the arrangement of the multiple terminals (8, 9, 10, 11) in the lower housing part (2) is such that individual or a plurality of the first and/or second conductor terminals of the multiple terminals (designated W1, L3, V2, L2, U1, L1 and V2, U2, W2) are conductively connected to each other by the configuring plug (23).
- A connection apparatus according to claim 9, characterized in that the conductive connection is such that during the connection of a device such as an AC electric motor a star connection can be realised in a first position and a delta connection in a second position of the configuring plug (23).
