Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de détermination d'un état d'au moins un capteur (240 ; 270) d'un véhicule automobile (100 ; 112) qui possède un moteur (230) et un système d'échappement possédant un catalyseur (260). Le procédé comporte les étapes suivantes : - l'altération d'une concentration de gaz NOx en aval du moteur (230) par la commande du fonctionnement du moteur (230) d'une façon prédéterminée ; - la détermination d'une différence dans une première concentration de gaz NOx en amont dudit catalyseur (260) ; - la détermination d'une différence dans une deuxième concentration de gaz NOx en aval dudit catalyseur, et - la détermination d'un état d'au moins un capteur (240 ; 270) sur la base de ladite différence dans la première concentration de gaz NOx et de ladite différence dans la deuxième concentration de gaz NOx. L'invention concerne également un produit programme d'ordinateur qui comporte un code de programme (P) pour un ordinateur (200 ; 210) afin de mettre en œuvre un procédé selon l'invention. L'invention concerne également un dispositif pour déterminer un état d'un capteur d'un véhicule automobile et un véhicule automobile qui est équipé du dispositif.
