Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Druckgusskolbenkopf für den Leichtmetalldruckguss, umfassend einen einteiligen Kolbenkopf (1) aus Kupfer oder einer Kupfer-Legierung und wenigstens einen an diesem angeordneten geschlossenen Verschieißring (2) aus einem härteren Material als das des Kolbenkopfes (1), wobei der Verschleißring (2) im Bereich zwischen einer Stirnfläche (3) und einer Mantelfläche (4) des Kolbenkopfes (1) angeordnet ist und wobei der Kolbenkopf (1) und der Verschleißring (2) zueinander komplementäre Verbindungseinrichtungen aufweisen. Um einen Druckgusskolbenkopf der eingangs genannten Art anzugeben, der sich durch eine gegenüber dem Stand der Technik verbesserte Standzeit und Wartungsfreundlichkeit auszeichnet, schlägt die Erfindung vor, dass der Verschleißring (2) an seiner der Stirnfläche (3) zugewandten, radial einwärts gerichteten Kante einen radial einwärts gerichteten Steg (5) aufweist.
