Abstract
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine magnetgekoppelte Kreiselpumpe mit Spalttopfüberwachung. Diese Kreiselpumpe weist einen Spalttopf (1) auf, der eine für ein magnetisches und/oder elektrisches Feld zumindest teilweise durchlässig Trennwand (10) aufweist, um ein im Spalttopf (1) angeordnetes Pumpenrad der Kreiselpumpe berührungslos anzutreiben. Ausserdem weist die Kreiselpumpe einen elektrischen Leiter (20) zur flächenmässigen Überwachung des Spalttopfs (1) auf. Dabei ist der, gegebenenfalls isolierte, elektrische Leiter (20) innerhalb des Wandmaterials der Trennwand (10) oder unmittelbar auf der Oberfläche der Trennwand (10) angeordnet, um die Integrität der Trennwand (10) zu überwachen. Dadurch können Beschädigungen der Trennwand mit einem geringen technischen Aufwand, in einem frühen Stadium und mit hoher Zuverlässigkeit erkannt werden.
