Hochdruckentladungslampe
Technisches Gebiet
Die Erfindung geht aus von einer Hochdruckentladungslampe gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Es handelt sich dabei insbesondere um Metallhalogenidlampen . Derartige Lampen sind insbesondere Hochdruckentladungslampen mit keramischem Entladungsgefäß oder Quarzglasgefäß für die Allgemeinbeleuchtung .
Stand der Technik
Die DE 101 01 508 offenbart eine Hochdruckentladungslampe, bei der eine Metallhalogenidfüllung verwendet wird. Die Hochdruckentladungslampe enthält als Metallhalogenid Jodid von Indium.
Darstellung der Erfindung
Es ist Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, eine Hochdruckentladungslampe gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 bereitzustellen, die einfach und kostengünstig eine farbige Emission im blauen Spektralbereich bereitstellt. Diese Aufgabe wird durch die kennzeichnenden Merkmale des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Besonders vorteilhafte Ausgestaltun¬ gen finden sich in den abhängigen Ansprüchen.
Farbige Lampen gewinnen eine zunehmende Marktbedeutung als Effektlicht in der Architekturbeleuchtung. Die Erfindung betrifft blaue HQI Lampen. Dabei gibt es drei Ziele: 1. hohe Strahlungsleistung im Blauen. 2. Hohe Farbsättigung 3. Gute Maintenance. Bisher verwendete Füllungen bestehen aus Inj.
Überraschenderweise zeigt eine Füllung aus InBr+InJ+InCl eine besssere Maintenance als die bisherige Füllung aus Inj. Dabei gelten folgende Grenzwerte:. Der molare Nateil von Inj liegt zwischen 40 und 90%. Der molare Anteil von InBr liegt zwischen 10 und 60%. Der molare Anteil von InCl liegt mei maximal 20%. Die Summe der molaren Anteile beträgt 100%. Begründung der Grenzwerte: ein Überschreiten des InCl Anteils von 20% und/oder des InBr Anteils von 60% führt zu Elektrodenkorrosion, also einem Frühausfall. Ein Überschreiten des molaren Inj Anteils verschlechtert die Maintenance. Die Füllmenge des gesamten In-Halogendes liegt zwischen 0,05 und 0,5 mg pro ml Entladungsvolumen.
Dadurch wird die Strahlungsleistung im Blauen erhöht. Die Maintenance, also die Konstanz der im Blauen Spektralbereich abgestrahlten Leistung wird darüber hinaus verbessert ohne die andere wichtige Größe, die Farbsättigung zu verschlechtern.
Die bisher eingesetzten Füllungen für blaue Emission ver- wenden normalerweise Inj. Die Verwendung einer Mischung von Halogeniden wurde nie ernsthaft in Erwägung gezogen, da sie keine zusätzlichen Vorteile versprach, jedoch aufwendiger herzustellen ist, da die Mischung kontrolliert und eingestellt werden muss. Überraschenderweise zeigt eine Füllung aus einer Mischung verschiedener Halogenide des In eine bessere Maintenance als die bisherige Füllung aus Inj einerseits und reinem InBr andererseits.
Dabei gelten folgende Grenzwerte: der Anteil von Inj liegt bei mindestens 25 Gew.-% und höchstens 75 Gew.-%.
Die Füllmenge des gesamten In-Halogenids liegt zwischen 0,1 und 1 mg pro ml Entladungsvolumen. Besonders bevorzugt ist ein Wert zwischen 0,2 und 1,0 mg/ml für Lampen im Leistungsbereich von 35 bis 150W und ein Wert zwischen 0,1 und 0,6 mg/ml für Lampen von 175 bis 1000W.
Das erfindungsgemäße Konzept ist vor allem für Lampen kleiner und mittlerer Leistung im Bereich 15 bis 1000 W geeignet .
Wesentliche Merkmale der Erfindung in Form einer numerierten Aufzählung sind:
1. Hochdruckentladungslampe mit einem Kolben, der ein Entladungsvolumen umgibt, wobei eine Füllung, die Indiumhalogenid, Quecksilber und Edelgas aus der Gruppe Neon, Argon, Krypton, Xenon enthält, im Entladungsvolumen untergebracht ist, dadurch gekenn¬ zeichnet, dass die Füllung gleichzeitig die Haloge¬ nide von Jod und Brom enthält, wobei der Anteil von Inj höchstens 90 Mol.-% beträgt, bezogen auf die Summe aller Halogenide des In.
2. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Anteil des Inj mindestens 25%, insbesondere mindestens 40%, beträgt.
3. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Anteil an InBr 10% bis ma¬ ximal 60 Mol.-% beträgt, bezogen auf die Summe al¬ ler Halogenide des In.
4. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllung Anteile an InCl
bis maximal 20 Mol.-% aufweist, bezogen auf die Summe aller Halogenide des In, insbesondere mindes¬ tens 2 Mol.-%.
5. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Edelgas Argon, Xenon Kryp¬ ton oder Neon oder Mischungen davon ist.
6. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kaltfülldruck des Edelga¬ ses im Bereich 30 bis 300 hPa gewählt ist. 7. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Gehalt an Hg im Bereich 3 bis 30 mg/cm3 gewählt ist.
8. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Lampe eine farbig emittie- rende Lampe für die Effektbeleuchtung ist.
9. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllmenge des gesamten In- Halogenids zwischen 0,05 und 0,5 mg pro ml Entla¬ dungsvolumen liegt.
10. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, da¬ durch gekennzeichnet, dass das Entladungsgefäß aus Quarzglas gefertigt ist.

Beschreibung der Zeichnungen
Figur 1 zeigt schematisch eine Metallhalogenidlampe 1. Sie besteht aus einem Entladungsgefäß 2 aus Quarzglas, in das zwei Elektroden 3 eingeführt sind. Das Entladungsge¬ fäß hat einen zentralen Teil 5 und zwei Enden 4. An den Enden sitzen zwei Quetschungen 6.
Das Entladungsgefäß 2 ist von einem Außenkolben 7 umge- ben. Das Entladungsgefäß 2 ist im Außenkolben mittels ei¬ nes Gestells, das eine kurze und lange Stromzuführung IIa und IIb beinhaltet, gehaltert.
Das Entladungsgefäß enthält eine Füllung, die typisch Hg (3 bis 30 mg/cm3) und 0,1 bis 1 mg/cm3 Halogenid von In- dium umfasst. Als Edelgas wird Argon unter einem Druck von 30 bis 300 hPa kalt verwendet. Dadurch wird eine blau emittierende Metallhalogenidlampe realisiert.
Figur 2 zeigt ein zweites Ausführungsbeispiel mit einem Entladungsgefäß 2 aus Quarzglas, an dem ein integrierter Außenkolben 10 angesetzt ist ohne dass ein Gestell benö-
tigt wird. Die Füllung ist ähnlich wie im Ausführungsbei¬ spiel der Figur la.
Figur 3 zeigt ein Diagramm, bei dem die Maintenance verschiedener Füllungen an In-Halogenid für eine 70 W-Lampe miteinander verglichen wurden. Dabei zeigt sich, dass reines Inj (Kurve a) mit Abstand das schlechteste Verhal¬ ten zeigt. Die Strahlungsleistung im Blauen Spektralbereich nimmt vom Bezugspunkt nach 100 Std. bis hin zu 6000 Std. auf höchstens 80% ab, wenn man Mischungen verwendet. Dagegen zeigen Mischungen aus Inj und InBr deutlich bessere Werte (Kurve b) , vor allem wenn der Anteil des Inj zwischen 25 und 75 Gew.-% liegt. Ähnlich gute Werte werden erzielt, wenn eine Tripelmischung verwendet wird, wo¬ bei überwiegend Inj (50 bis 80 Gew.-% ) mit 10 bis 20 Gew.-% InBr und 2 bis 10 Gew.-% InCl verwendet wird (Kur¬ ve c) .
Figur 4 zeigt ein Diagramm für 150 W-Lampen, bei dem die Maintenance einer Mischung 55 Gew.-% TU mit 45 Gew.-% InBr (Kurve a) verglichen wird mit reinem Inj (Kurve b) und InBr (Kurve c) einerseits, und andererseits mit einer Tripel-Mischung (Kurve d) aus Anteilen von Inj (70 Gew.- %), InBr (20 Gew.-%) und InCl (10 Gew.-%) . Es zeigt sich, dass die Zugabe von Chlor wohldosiert werden muss. Es sollte bevorzugt in kleinen Mengen zugesetzt werden, re- lativ zu Inj höchstens 13:1. bei InBr gilt, dass es be¬ vorzugt in Mengen von 1:3 bis 1:6 relativ zu Inj zuge¬ setzt werden sollte.
Tabelle 1 zeigt die lichttechnischen Daten verschiedener Metallhalogenidlampen mit Quarzglaskolben gemäß Figur 1 und 2.
Die Füllung ist für die Emission blauen Spektralbereich innerhalb 440 bis 485 nm konzipiert. Eine derartige Lampe kann für Allgemeinbeleuchtung eingesetzt werden, insbesondere als Effektlicht für Architekturbeleuchtung. Mit der neuartigen Füllung, verbunden mit einem Entladungsgefäß aus Quarzglas, wird hoher Output im blauen Spektral¬ bereich erreicht, verbunden mit langer Lebensdauer, hoher Farbsättigung, und guter Maintenance. Die Lebensdauer beträgt mindestens 9000 Std., die Maintenance ist mindes- tens 80%, und die Farbsättigung mindestens 50%.
Die Füllung enthält kein Na, oder Sc oder Tl. Es werden als Metallhalogenide nur Halogenide des In verwendet. Der maximale Anteil des Inj ist 90% Mol.-%, der minimale An¬ teil des InBr ist 10 Mol.-%. Dieser Br/J-Mischung kann außerdem InCl mit einem Anteil bis 20 Mol.-% zugesetzt sein. Bevorzugt liegt der Anteil Inj bei 40 bis 90 Mol.- %, sowie 10 bis 60 Mol.-% InBr.
Die Füllmenge gesamt an Halogenid des In beträgt bevor¬ zugt zwischen 0,05 und 0,5 mg/ml Volumen des Entladungs- gefäßes. Weitere Füllungsbestandteile sind Edelgas wie Argon sowie Hg.
Für Lampen bis 150 W Leistung beträgt die Füllmenge ge¬ samt an Halogenid des In beträgt bevorzugt zwischen 0,09 und 0,5 mg/ml Volumen des Entladungsgefäßes. Für Lampen ab 200 W Leistung beträgt die Füllmenge gesamt an Haloge¬ nid des In bevorzugt zwischen 0,05 und 0,4 mg/ml Volumen des Entladungsgefäßes.

Claims
1. Hochdruckentladungslampe mit einem Kolben, der ein Entladungsvolumen umgibt, wobei eine Füllung, die Indiumhalogenid, Quecksilber und Edelgas aus der Gruppe Neon, Argon, Krypton, Xenon enthält, im Ent- ladungsvolumen untergebracht ist, dadurch gekenn¬ zeichnet, dass die Füllung gleichzeitig die Haloge¬ nide von Jod und Brom enthält, wobei der Anteil von Inj höchstens 90 Mol.-% beträgt, bezogen auf die Summe aller Halogenide des In.
2. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Anteil des Inj mindestens 25%, insbesondere mindestens 40%, beträgt.
3. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Anteil an InBr 10% bis ma- ximal 60 Mol.-% beträgt, bezogen auf die Summe al¬ ler Halogenide des In.
4. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllung Anteile an InCl bis maximal 20 Mol.-% aufweist, bezogen auf die Summe aller Halogenide des In, insbesondere mindes¬ tens 2 Mol.-%.
5. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Edelgas Argon, Xenon Kryp¬ ton oder Neon oder Mischungen davon ist.
6. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kaltfülldruck des Edelga¬ ses im Bereich 30 bis 300 hPa gewählt ist.
7. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Gehalt an Hg im Bereich 3 bis 30 mg/cm3 gewählt ist.
8. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Lampe eine farbig emittie¬ rende Lampe für die Effektbeleuchtung ist.
9. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllmenge des gesamten In- Halogenids zwischen 0,05 und 0,5 mg pro ml Entla¬ dungsvolumen liegt.
10. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, da¬ durch gekennzeichnet, dass das Entladungsgefäß aus Quarzglas gefertigt ist.
