Definitions
- the invention relates to a cylindrical pressure vessel, in particular for use in hydraulics, made of a fiber-reinforced plastic composed of fibers impregnated with a resin having an inner body and an outer body surrounding it, wherein the cylindrical portion of the pressure vessel is closed at both ends by means of end caps and inner body and Outer body to prevent transmission of shear forces are kept separate.
- a cylindrical pressure vessel with a structure corresponding to the generic features is known from US Pat. No. 3,508,677 known.
- the pressure vessel consists in its basic structure of an inner body and an outer body, each consisting of a fiber-reinforced plastic, wherein the fibers in the inner body and in the outer body each have a different orientation. Between the inner body and outer body, a sliding plane is set up so that the layers of the structure of the pressure vessel lying on the outside and inside of the sliding plane can expand or contract independently of one another.
- the two axially attached to the cylindrical member end caps integral part of the multilayer structure of the vessel.
- the invention is therefore based on the object in a cylindrical pressure vessel with a generic features corresponding structural design such, effective only in the event of an overpressure becoming effective leakage path.
- the invention provides in its basic idea that at least one end cap is connected only to the outer body and rests with an extending into the inner body overlap portion on the inside of the inner body, wherein in the overlapping portion of the end cap against a inner peripheral surface of the inner body fitting seal is arranged and in the inner peripheral surface of the inner body surrounding the overlapping portion of the end cap on the side of the seal facing away from the interior of the cylindrical pressure vessel at least one depression is arranged as a defined leakage path in the case of an expansion of the outer body relative to the inner body.
- At least one end cap is only connected to the outer body, an axial expansion of only the outer container occurs when a compressive stress occurs in the interior of the pressure vessel due to the axial pressure acting on the end caps, while the axial extent of the inner container remains unaffected and thus remains constant , So that this relative to the inner body relative to the inner body does not occur even at below a critical pressure leads to leaks, the end cap connected to the outer body is sealed against the inner body, said seal remains effective during a certain axial expansion path of the outer body relative to the inner body.
- the recess is arranged at an axial distance from the seal. This ensures that the axial expansion of the outer body, which is effective even at lower pressures, maintains the effective seal between the end cap and the inner body firmly connected to the outer body, because the recess formed on the inner body does not yet reach the area the seal passes.
- the recess is formed as a longitudinal groove, wherein it can be provided that the recess has a flat-conical shape.
- the depression extends to the end of the inner body.
- a leading to the outside of the end cap pressure relief channel is arranged, so that the over the medium flowing out through the recess leakage path is discharged via the pressure relief channel to the outside of the pressure vessel.
- a gap is arranged as a pressure relief path between the outer body and the end cap inserted therein.
- the end FIG. 1 apparent pressure vessel 10 has a cylindrical portion 11, whose two end faces are each closed by an end cap 12. As a result, an interior 25 is formed in the pressure vessel; in the end caps 12 connecting channels 26 are provided, via which the pressure vessel 10 can be filled or emptied.
- the cylindrical part 11 of the pressure vessel 10 is composed of an inner body 14 enclosing the inner space 25 and an outer body 13 surrounding the inner body 14.
- the inner body 14 and the outer body 13 each consist of a fiber-reinforced plastic constructed of fibers impregnated with a resin.
- outer body 13 and inner body 14 are arranged separately from each other, wherein in the illustrated embodiment, a transfer of shear forces between the inner body 14 and the outer body 13 avoiding intermediate layer is arranged.
- the structure of such a body is for example in the WO 2010/124815 A1 described in more detail.
- both end caps 12 are formed in the same way and correspondingly connected in the same way with the cylindrical part 11 of the pressure vessel 10.
- the respective end cap 12 rests with an outer flange 24 against the end face of the outer body 13 as a part of the cylindrical part 11 of the pressure vessel and initially jumps into the interior of the outer body 13 with a shoulder 15.
- the arranged inside the outer body 13 inner body 14 has a shorter axial extent than the outer body 13, so that in the initial state of protruding into the outer body 13 paragraph 15 of the end cap 12 abuts the end face of the associated end face of the inner body 14.
- To the shoulder 15 of the end cap 12 includes an in the inner body 14 further on the overlapping overlap region 16, wherein the overlap region 16 of the end cap 12 bears against the inner peripheral surface 19 of the inner body 14.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a cylindrical pressure vessel, in particular for use in hydraulics, made of a fiber-reinforced plastic composed of fibers impregnated with a resin having an inner body and an outer body surrounding it, wherein the cylindrical portion of the pressure vessel is closed at both ends by means of end caps and inner body and Outer body to prevent transmission of shear forces are kept separate.
In such pressure vessels, the problem of stress due to excessive internal pressure in the vessel can occur, which can lead to bursting of the pressure vessel depending on the strength properties of the material used in detail for the production of the pressure vessel. In order to avoid such a rupture and the associated possibly uncontrollable damage, it is known to form an effective in a correspondingly presettable overpressure in the pressure vessel leaking way, so that a pressure relief of the pressure vessel can take place and bursting of the pressure vessel is avoided.
The invention is therefore based on the object in a cylindrical pressure vessel with a generic features corresponding structural design such, effective only in the event of an overpressure becoming effective leakage path.
The solution to this problem arises, including advantageous refinements and developments of the invention, from the content of the claims, which are adjusted to this description.
The invention provides in its basic idea that at least one end cap is connected only to the outer body and rests with an extending into the inner body overlap portion on the inside of the inner body, wherein in the overlapping portion of the end cap against a inner peripheral surface of the inner body fitting seal is arranged and in the inner peripheral surface of the inner body surrounding the overlapping portion of the end cap on the side of the seal facing away from the interior of the cylindrical pressure vessel at least one depression is arranged as a defined leakage path in the case of an expansion of the outer body relative to the inner body.
Since, according to the invention, at least one end cap is only connected to the outer body, an axial expansion of only the outer container occurs when a compressive stress occurs in the interior of the pressure vessel due to the axial pressure acting on the end caps, while the axial extent of the inner container remains unaffected and thus remains constant , So that this relative to the inner body relative to the inner body does not occur even at below a critical pressure leads to leaks, the end cap connected to the outer body is sealed against the inner body, said seal remains effective during a certain axial expansion path of the outer body relative to the inner body. Only when this expansion path of the outer body due to a correspondingly high internal pressure in the pressure vessel, but which is below the bursting pressure, has become so large that arranged in the inner body recess bridges the arranged on the overlap portion of the end cap to the inner body seal and thus a leakage path available provides pressure from the interior of the inner container via this leakage path can be reduced to the outside, so that the pressure vessel is protected against Ber-sten.
According to one embodiment of the invention it is provided that the recess is arranged at an axial distance from the seal. This ensures that the axial expansion of the outer body, which is effective even at lower pressures, maintains the effective seal between the end cap and the inner body firmly connected to the outer body, because the recess formed on the inner body does not yet reach the area the seal passes.
According to one embodiment of the invention it is provided that the recess is formed as a longitudinal groove, wherein it can be provided that the recess has a flat-conical shape.
With regard to the provision of a pressure relief path, it is provided that the depression extends to the end of the inner body.
In order to dissipate the medium exiting the pressure chamber from the interior of the pressure vessel via the leakage path to the outside of the pressure vessel, it can be provided that according to an embodiment of the invention in the end cap a leading to the outside of the end cap pressure relief channel is arranged, so that the over the medium flowing out through the recess leakage path is discharged via the pressure relief channel to the outside of the pressure vessel. Alternatively, it can be provided that a gap is arranged as a pressure relief path between the outer body and the end cap inserted therein.

In the illustrated embodiment, both
The
In order to direct the outflowing medium to the outside of the
In an advantageous manner, when the pressure in the
