Abstract

La présente invention concerne une composition contenant, dans un excipient cosmétiquement acceptable, au moins un ester dérivé de la 4-carboxy-2-pyrrolidinone, de formule (I) dans laquelle R1 représente un radical alkyle linéaire ou ramifié en C1-C20, R2 représente un radical alkyle linéaire ou ramifié en C1-C20 pouvant contenir un noyau en C5-C6 de type phényle, benzyle ou phénéthyle, et au moins un écran anti-UV lipophile de type benzophénone. La présente invention concerne également l'utilisation d'au moins un ester dérivé de la 4-carboxy- 2-pyrrolidinone, de formule (I), comme définie plus haut, dans une composition contenant, dans un excipient cosmétiquement acceptable, au moins un écran anti-UV lipophile de type benzophénone, ledit ester dérivé de la 4-carboxy-2-pyrrolidinone étant utilisé en tant que solvant pour ledit écran solaire de type benzophénone, dans un agent d'amélioration de la solubilité dudit écran solaire de type benzophénone dans ladite composition et/ou en tant qu' agent d'amélioration de la solubilité dudit écran solaire de type benzophénone dans ladite composition ou, enfin, à des fins d'amélioration du facteur de protection solaire.
