Claims (10)
- A method for individually adapting the support function in individual sections of a repose mattress to a target person, wherein the repose mattress comprises support elements having different degrees of hardness in the individual sections of the mattress, and a measurement mattress (10) having dimensions substantially identical to those of the repose mattress is used, wherein the support elements of the repose mattress are replaced in the measurement mattress (10) by air chambers (11), and wherein the respective pressure in the individual air chambers (11) is used for the selection of such support elements whose degrees of hardness correspond to the pressure values of the air chambers (11) of the measurement mattress (10), characterised in that the pressure of the air chambers (11) can be triggered and adjusted individually, wherein a plurality of pressure profiles is stored in a database (33), and a control device (30) selects a pressure profile on the basis of set of parameters, adjusts the internal pressure within each individual air chamber (11) to the predetermined pressure values according to the selected pressure profile, and subsequently an adjustment of the internal pressure of the individual air chambers (11) to the needs of the target person is carried out.
- A method according to claim 1, characterised in that the set of parameters is predetermined in form of body measurement values.
- A method according to claim 1, characterised in that the set of parameters is predetermined in form of repose pressure values, wherein the repose pressure within each air chamber (11) is determined when the target person lies on the measurement mattress (10).
- A method according to claim 3, characterised in that in a first step the internal pressure of the air chambers (11) is the same, in a second step the increase of pressure within the air chambers (11) is transmitted via a pressure sensor (20) to the control device (30) as a result of a weight acting thereon when the target person lies on the measurement mattress (10), in a third step a repose pressure profile is calculated from the received values, in a fourth step a matching pressure profile is selected on the basis of the determined repose pressure profile, and the pressure within the air chambers (11) is changed according to the default values of said pressure profile, and subsequently the pressure within the air chambers (11) is adjusted to the needs of the customer.
- A method according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterised in that at least one locking device (1) on at least one air chamber (11) is opened or closed via the control device (30) in order to change the pressure within the air chamber (11).
- A method according to one of the claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the pressure values of the individual air chambers (11) are displayed graphically, especially in form of colour areas on a display element (31) which is in connection with the control device (30).
- The use of an apparatus (1) for selecting a repose mattress, wherein the apparatus consists of a repose mattress and a measurement mattress (10), wherein the repose mattress comprises support elements having different degrees of hardness in the individual sections of the mattress, a measurement mattress (10) with a plurality of air chambers (11) is provided, which is substantially identical to the repose mattress with respect to its dimensions, and the air chambers (11) comprise at least one pressure sensor (20) and at least one pressure line (23) with at least one locking device (21), and a control device (30) for triggering and monitoring the pressure within each air chamber (11), and a compressed-air device (22), wherein the use of the apparatus (1) is provided for carrying out a method according to one of the claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the control device (30) comprises a database (33) with stored pressure profiles, and the control device (30) is in connection with an input element (32) with which the control device (30) predetermines a change in pressure within an air chamber (11).
- The use (1) according to claim 7, characterised in that the support elements of the repose mattress are arranged as foamed-material support rolls and the air chambers (11) of the measurement mattress (10) are arranged substantially cylindrically, which extend substantially over the entire width of the measurement mattress (10).
- The use (1) according to claim 7, characterised in that the support elements of the repose mattress are arranged as insertion elements, and the air chambers (11) of the measurement mattress (10) are substantially shaped with respect to the cross-section in a square or rectangular or circular manner.
- The use (1) according to one of the claims 7 to 9, characterised in that the control device (30) is in connection with a display element (31) on which the pressure within the individual air chambers (11) is displayed.
