Abstract

According to one embodiment, a luminaire (1) includes a main body (11), a waterproof ring (25), a floodlight panel (28), an upper edge member (31), a light-emitting part (46), a waterproof member (61) and a side plate (71). The light-emitting part (46) provided in the main body (11) emits illumination light upward. The side plate (71) is coupled to the end of the main body (11) through the waterproof member (61). The waterproof member (61) and the side plate (71) include a first recess portion (62) and a second recess portion (76) continuous with the groove (38). Heights of bottoms (62a, 76a) of the respective recess portions (62, 76) are equal to or lower than the upper surface of the floodlight panel (28).
