Abstract

Kühlmittelpumpe für die Förderung eines Kühlmittels in einem Kühlmittelkreis einer Brennkraftmaschine, die Kühlmittelpumpe umfassend:
a) ein Gehäuse (1),
b) eine vom Gehäuse (1) drehbar gelagerte Antriebswelle (4) für einen Drehantrieb vorzugsweise direkt durch die Brennkraftmaschine,
c) ein von der Antriebswelle (4) drehantreibbares, vorzugsweise mit der Antriebswelle (4) drehfest verbundenes Radialförderrad (2) für die Förderung des Kühlmittels aus einem radial innen liegenden Einströmbereich (5) in einen radial weiter außen liegenden Ausströmbereich (6),
d) eine mittels Steuerfluid relativ zu dem Gehäuse (1) in unterschiedliche Positionen verstellbare Stellstruktur (10) zur Verstellung einer das Fördervolumen der Pumpe bei gegebener Drehzahl beeinflussenden Strömungsgeometrie wie etwa eines Strömungsquerschnitts oder Strömungsverlaufs auf dem den Einströmbereich (5), das Radialförderrad (2) und den Ausströmbereich (6) umfassenden Strömungsweg des Kühlmittels,
e) ein Steuerventil (7) zur Einstellung eines die Position der Stellstruktur (10) bestimmenden Drucks oder Volumenstroms des vom Kühlmittel gebildeten Steuerfluids,
f) und zusätzlich zum Radialförderrad (2) eine Servopumpe (20; 50) für die Förderung des Steuerfluids zum Steuerventil (7),
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
g) die Servopumpe (20; 50) eine von der Antriebswelle (4) drehantreibbare Rotationspumpe mit wenigstens einem drehantreibbaren Servopumpenrad (21; 51, 52) ist.
