Abstract

La présente invention porte sur une molécule d'acide nucléique comprenant un exon alternatif de la protéine apparentée à la lipoprotéine de faible densité 1 (LRP1), sur une protéine codée par ladite molécule d'acide nucléique et sur des fragments dudit acide nucléique et de ladite protéine. La présente invention porte également sur des vecteurs, des cellules hôtes, des méthodes recombinantes pour la production de ladite protéine, des anticorps, des cellules de production d'anticorps, des ligands d'affinité et des antagonistes dudit acide nucléique et de la protéine et sur l'utilisation du variant d'épissage de LRP1 comme marqueur du cancer. L'invention porte également sur des compositions correspondantes de diagnostic et pharmaceutiques, des coffrets, des utilisations médicales et des procédés, ainsi que des vaccins et des procédés d'induction de réponses immunitaires.
