Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé pour fabriquer un profil renforcé (1), lequel procédé comprend (a) la fabrication d'au moins une bande fille contenant un premier polymère thermoplastique et de longues fibres hachées par dispersion du premier polymère thermoplastique sous forme de poudre sur les longues fibres hachées positionnées d'une manière isotrope ; l'application d'un champ électrique alternatif et d'un chauffage sous pression ; (b) facultativement, la fabrication d'une bande mère (3) par superposition et soudage d'au moins deux bandes filles obtenues lors de l'étape (a) ; et (c) la fabrication d'un profil renforcé à l'aide d'une bande fille obtenue dans l'étape (a) ou d'une bande mère (3) obtenue dans l'étape (b) par extrusion d'un deuxième polymère thermoplastique fondu sur au moins une face de la bande fille et sur au moins une face de la bande mère (3). L'invention porte également sur un profil renforcé (1) obtenu et sur l'utilisation de celui-ci.
